Can New Covenant relationship with Elohim be motivated through a fear of Hell and a perception of Elohim as a God of anger and retribution?
Discussion,
Those who seek to love our Creator and desire intimacy with Him, knowledge of Him, are not motivated by a fear of Hell but a desire to know and honor the One who gave them life and they seek knowledge of the who, what, where, when, why, how, concerning this temporary life constrained by a temporary Realm of Time and physics.
Personally, I was not motivated to honor Elohim in response to fear but in response to Truth that was absorbed during my first thorough reading of the New Testament approximately 33-years ago; in fact, approximately one-half way through the New Testament I looked up from the pages of Scriptures and asked “Where has this (Scriptural Truth) been all my life?” Hell was NOT on the radar or in the thought process…but an all-encompassing love and assurance resonated from the pages of Scripture and I could do NOTHING but respond in the affirmative to the Holy Spirit’s call upon my life…I BELIEVED what I had read and a change of heart immediately manifest!
In my humble opinion,
I don’t think a true intimate relationship with Elohim can manifest with purity and authenticity if FEAR is the motive for that relationship; this truism exists within human nature as well as true love and intimacy cannot exist in an atmosphere of fear or coercion; therefore, the one who sincerely enters into New Covenant relationship with the Father through faith in the Son is one motivated by love and awe and joy in knowing the One who is Causation for life, the Elohim who possesses the knowledge of why we exist, how we exist, our purpose in this life and in the life to come; therefore, it is “divine relationship” initiated through knowledge and love that inspires “New Covenant relationship” and not fear. It is through the mysteries of nature (Romans 1:20) and internalizing the Word of Elohim with a heart willing to receive that initiates New Covenant relationship with the Father; this, by believing what the Father has said concerning the Son, a testimony provided by the Holy Spirit that is responded to in the affirmative out of love, trust, assurance through faith (Romans 10:17).
Concerning the “Serpent” in Genesis 3 and what Eve observed and her obsession and obedience to same,
Those who serve Satan are his “seed” or offspring (Genesis 3:15), they are his children, this includes fallen angels (demons) and the rebellious of humanity; that is, those angels who allied with Satan in the Great Kingdom War and those who ally with Satan within the Realm of Time through their rejection of Elohim’s will (John 6:29; John 8:44).
Satan was NEVER a literal serpent but the Holy Spirit uses the serpent as a metaphor for Satan in the Genesis Narrative as Satan’s attributes e.g., conniving-subtle-deadly are like those of the serpent. If you desire to know what Eve observed in Eden and why she was so enamored by Satan, the Holy Spirit provides us with Satan’s incredibly attractive physiological attributes in Ezekiel 28 and Jesus explains who are the “offspring” or “seed” of Satan in John 8.
Question was asked in a religious forum “…why [are] these people of Israel still keeping the ten commandments even though the covenant was faulted[?]”
Explanation,
Israel’s children rejected Messiah Yeshua sent to them (Matthew 15:24) and chose self-righteousness through law-keeping (Torah Law-Sinai-Moses) as opposed to faith in the One who kept the Law for us (Matthew 5:17) and offers us His righteousness imputed-gifted into and over our lives by faith in Him as Messiah; this, in exchange for our sin via New Covenant promise (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 8:7); therefore, Israel has stumbled over the Stumbling Stone laid in Zion (Romans 9:32); therefore, only a remnant of Israel’s children will escape the “second death” in Hell due unbelief (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27; Rev 20:11-15); for this error, Israel’s children have been placed under Judgment, the Gospel taken from them and given to the Gentiles until the fullness of the Gentiles have entered the Kingdom of Elohim (Romans 11:25). This divine reality is relevant and observable to this very day. Yeshua is the only Way to life in the Kingdom of Elohim and this divine reality is an immutable Truth for Jew, Israelite, Gentile (John 14:6).
30 What shall we say, then That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; 31 but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. 32 Why Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, 33 as it is.
Someone said that “True love is keeping the Commandments.” Is this true?
Discussion,
The Commandments don’t espouse “love” but condemnation (Romans 3:20). Faith in the One who embodies the Commandments, the Logos of Elohim (John 1), espouses true love as that faith honors the Father (John 6:29) and engenders New Covenant relationship with Him (John 3) and subsequently engenders obedience through the indwelling Spirit (Galatians 5:16); therefore, the letter kills as it defines man’s culpability void atonement (Romans 3:20); the Spirit gives life through the Son via faith (2 Corinthians 3:6).
Divinely inspired obedience results from true love for the Son, the Father, the Holy Spirit, this, by faith and this engenders obedience inspired by the indwelling Holy Spirit via the production of divine fruit that fulfills all law, divine fruit of the Spirit that methodically fulfills every divine Commandment as there is no law against the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-23).
Yes, Jesus did say “If you love me you will obey my Commandments” (John 14:15) but “love” comes first and true obedience naturally flows through the Holy Spirit given as Guarantor of New Covenant relationship with the Father (Ephesians 1:13-14) as true obedience is NOT possible void the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
Faith in Jesus that honors the Father (John 6:29).
Receive the indwelling Holy Spirit and walk in obedience to the Spirit’s tutelage in daily sanctification producing fruit that honors the Father’s will (Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:16).
Live in peace with Elohim, eternally (Romans 5:1).
Someone said that the Holy Spirit is a Comforter but does not convict the World of sin. Is this true? What is the purpose of the Holy Spirit?
Discussion,
The Holy Spirit is the Arbiter of free will concerning the human conscience relevant to behavioral discernment; this, pertaining to both the lost and the redeemed as the Spirit is a “restrainer” of evil (2 Thessalonians 2:7); therefore, the Holy Spirit urges humanity toward behaviors that are sustainable and His intercession and work in the life of the Christian is magnified by the Spirit’s indwelling presence given as Guarantor of Covenant through faith in Jesus as Messiah (Ephesians 1:13-14; John 14:16; Galatians 5:16).
It is the seared, corrupted, human conscience, the stubborn and defiled conscience that has repeatedly eschewed the intercession of the Spirit that is given-over to a life of nihilism and defilement; therefore, how can one say that the Holy Spirit plays no role in convicting the individual and the World of sin (Romans 1:18-32)?
The Holy Spirit and Christian sanctification,
Concerning the redeemed in Jesus, it is the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit during daily Christian sanctification as Counselor, Teacher and Tutor (John 14:16; 1 John 2:27) that prepares the Christian for service in the New Jerusalem; therefore, I disagree with you that the Holy Spirit plays no role in convicting the conscience of ungodly conduct as this conviction is the initiation phase of repentance, repentance being essential for salvation concerning the lost and essential for restored intimacy concerning the redeemed in Jesus who inevitably relent to the Adamic sin-nature from time-to-time; hence, the need for John 3 concerning the lost and the need for 1 John 1:9 concerning the redeemed in Jesus.
Void the presence of the Holy Spirit in the World as a Restrainer of evil, human kind would implode in unrestrained narcissism and nihilism; this, as the Holy Spirit is the Logistical overseer of the Creation narrative (Genesis 1:2) and the Divine Restrainer of the Evil One (Galatians 5:16; 2 Thessalonians 2:7); this, for Elohim’s eschatological purposes going forward.
Jesus said,
The Work of the Holy Spirit
“I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you. 5 But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; 10 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; 11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. The Gospel of John, Chapter 16
What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Why the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
The Gospel or the “Good News,” its purpose and intent is provided us in Genesis 1-3; John 3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 2:8-9.
For brevity’s sake, the “Good News” concerning Jesus our Messiah begins “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10) as our Creation, matter constrained by Time and physics, is the result of an unfathomable rebellion that manifest in the Kingdom of Elohim; a rebellion initiated by a narcissistic, anointed, cherub angel (Ezekiel 28:11+); to make matters worse, one-third of Elohim’s cherished angelic creation followed the rebellious cherub angel in an angelic coup d’état (Revelation 12).
The Creation Narrative (Genesis 1) manifest in response to the angelic coup d’état this coup necessitating a repository for that Kingdom War apart from the Kingdom of Elohim where nothing impure is permitted to exist (Luke 10:18; Rev 21:27). Currently, Elohim is dealing with the Great War that rages through us (Ephesians 6) and around us as every human conflict, every war is rooted in the spiritual.
Elohim commissioned the Son, Jesus our Messiah (John 3:35) and Creator (Genesis 1; John 1; Hebrews 1; Colossians 1), to procure elements from the unseen Spiritual Realm and fashion those elements into matter that can be apprehended by life constrained by Time and physics (Hebrews 11:3). All that we see and perceive with the human eye, the human sensory capabilities, and all that we’re unable to see physically yet is constrained by physics/Time, these find their origin in the Spiritual Realm. This is why the Darwninist-Evolutionist, the Physicist, the Anthropologist, the Cosmologist, will never define origin of life or matter.
In Genesis 3, in response to the Heavenly coup d’état and Adam’s compromise with evil at the behest of his wife via Satan, Elohim draws-out a “battle plan” for us in Genesis 3:15-21. Elohim tells us that an anointed One will enter the Realm of Time via the virgin seed of the woman and do battle with the rebellious cherub angel we know as Satan or Lucifer and the Warrior will be victorious over Satan as crushing the head of the serpent while the serpent would bruise Messiah’s heal (Genesis 3:15).
Elohim’s divine battle strategy, the Gospel,
It is duly noted in the First Epistle of John that Messiah’s primary reason for entering the Realm of Time was “to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b). Elohim, immediately subsequent enacting a declaration of war against Satan in Genesis 3:15, provides humanity with a word picture of the divine “battle strategy” He would employ to defeat Satan at Golgotha; that is, Genesis 3:21 where Elohim, Himself, sheds innocent blood and clothes sinful Adam and Eve in an imputed “robe of righteousness” (2 Corinthians 5:21) while Elohim rejects Adam’s attempt to cover his own sin and shame by the works of his hands via fig leaves (Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Gospel made applicable in Time,
The entirety of Scripture, from Genesis 3 forward, is the eschatological plan of Elohim to introduce His Messiah into the World who would “destroy the works of the devil” via the Gospel, the “Good News of Victory” and offer the “spoils of war” to humanity via the redemption from sin provided through the Gospel of Grace; that is, Jesus Christ who entered the World via the virgin womb (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23) and thereby circumvented the sin-nature of Adam’s genome and Jesus walked blamelessly before the Father, the Spirit, humanity, and Jesus shed His innocent blood as blood atonement for our sin, our rebellion, in accordance with the divine mandates of Leviticus 17:11 and through Messiah’s faithfulness He destroyed the works of the devil i.e. death, Hell, the grave while simultaneously providing a divine Path to eternal life with the Father by faith in Jesus as our Messiah (John 3; Matthew 26-28); essentially, the perfection and righteousness of Jesus is imputed-gifted into the life of the one who believes Jesus is Messiah who died for them; this, in exchange for our sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). This “great exchange” is the Gospel or “Good News” of Jesus Christ who conquered death, Hell, the grave, sin, for sinful humanity and freely offers us His perfection-righteousness imputed-gifted into our lives by faith in Him as Messiah and the Father agrees by New Covenant promise to declare us “not guilty” and welcome us into His Kingdom as children of Elohim (Hebrews 8:7).
In conclusion,
Therefore, the Gospel of Jesus our Messiah has manifest in Time as a battle strategy to destroy the works of the Devil as Elohim strives to maintain volitonal love with His cherished angelic creation that did not follow Satan in the angelic coup d’état ; in addition, as an example of Elohim’s selfless, unfathomable, divine love, the Gospel is a strategy of reconciliation between Elohim and sinful humanity whereby Elohim destroyed the works of Satan, death-Hell-the grave and offers humanity eternal reconciliation with Him by faith; this, further demonstrating to the faithful angelic creation the enteral benefits of obedience, sacrifice, holiness, purity, righteousness contrasted with the unsustainable attributes of narcissism, arrogance, self-righteousness. This 7000-years of contrasting the sustainability of holiness and righteousness v. defilement and disobedience will also act as an eternal bulwark against future rebellion in the Kingdom of Elohim, the New Jerusalem, as free will exists in the Kingdom by necessity.
1) God said, I will teach you to obey My Laws. Be ye
perfect because the Father is perfect.
2) God’s Laws stands fast for ever.
3) Obey that, grace will stop. Obedience to God’s law will save us. Sinners can’t inherent the kingdom of God.
Discussion,
The legalistic statement above is the perfect example of the Devil’s subtle deception in Judaism and religion in general as divine Truth is commingled with demonic deception that deceives the soul into Hell via self-righteousness via works.
First of all,
If perfection were attainable in the flesh, Jesus would not have needed to suffer and die in our place as blood atonement for sin (Galatians 2:21); therefore, Jesus entered Time via the virgin seed circumventing the Adamic sin-nature and walked blamelessly before the Father as the Spotless Lamb who takes away the sins of the World (John 1; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 2:1-2).
The only “perfection” humanity can attain in this life constrained by Time, physics, flesh, is the perfection of Jesus imputed-gifted into the life of the one who believes in Him as Messiah (2 Corinthians 5:21). This was first demonstrated for you in Genesis 3:21 but so few listen and see and find life in what the Holy Spirit proclaims.
Second,
Elohim’s eternal law is the Spiritual Law or the “law of the Spirit of life” (Romans 8:2; 2:14-15) that has been extant as an arbiter of free will subsequent the creation of the angels and infused within the human genome on Day-6 of Creation as Human Kind was created in the spiritual image of Elohim possessing certain divine communicable attributes of Elohim; this, for eschatological purposes going forward (Genesis 1:26-28).
Third, Grace is eternally relevant…
Grace will never be nullified as the very existence of humanity and redemption from sin hinges upon grace (unmerited favor) from the Father; this, both as an element of salvation and during daily sanctification. Grace will be eternally relevant as free will remains eternally necessary, essential, as foundational to authentic love and intimacy with our Creator.
Finally, Concerning Sinai-Torah-Moses,
Sinai-Torah-Moses are but mere, incomplete, fragments of codification relevant to the eternal Spiritual Law and Sinai and Torah and Moses are wholly incomplete, insufficient, inadequate, as instruments of righteousness (a right standing) with the Father (Romans 3:20); Sinai-Torah-Moses were given as elements of sanctification-eschatology concerning Elohim’s efforts to thwart Israel’s compromise with Baal and Molech, pagan compromise that nullified the Adamic and Noahic generations as progenitors of the Messiah, the Gospel message, the Great Commission; these, being essential eschatological elements concerning the “destruction of the Devil’s works” via the Messiah (1 John 3:8b) via the Gospel that was ordained as a divine battle strategy “before Time began“ (2 Timothy 1:8-10).
In closing,
The codified Law you worship, Sinai-Torah-Moses, were both temporary and incomplete and are of no consequence concerning righteousness with the Father or life in the New Jerusalem; Sinai-Torah-Moses were simply eschatological roadmaps pointing to the need for Messiah Jesus by faith (Galatians 3:24); therefore, it is high time that you leave the bygone Covenant of Law (Hebrews 8:7) and find life in the New Covenant of Grace through faith Jesus as your Messiah and the indwelling Holy Spirit as your obedience to the Father’s will via the production of divine fruit (2 Corinthians 3; Galatians 5:16-23; Matthew 7:15-20).
Understanding the differentiation, application, of Law that exists between the Old and New Covenants…
Premise,
Christians are NOT under the Law Covenant, Torah, Sinai, Moses, laws, rules, diets, days, etched in stone or scratched upon parchment (Romans 6:14; Romans 7:6). Christianity is the New Covenant; the application of the Law in the New Covenant is through the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:16; Ezekiel 36:27) via a redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) and the eternal spiritual law written upon the heart at conception, infused within the human genome on Day-6 (Romans 2:14-15; Hebrews 10:16; Ezekiel 11:19; Jeremiah 31:33).
Discussion,
The New Covenant was foreordained to be realized within the Realm of Time via the children of Israel and Messiah came to them, specifically (Matthew 15:24), to proselytize Jacob’s children in the Gospel, the New Covenant, the Great Commission, where a radically different application of Law from that of the Law Covenant would be realized through the indwelling Holy Spirit who would be given as the Seal and Guarantor of New Covenant relationship with the Father through faith in the Son, the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
In the New Covenant, the law written upon the heart (Romans 2:14-15), infused within the human genome on Day-6 of creation, would be enlivened by the indwelling Holy Spirit and that eternal spiritual law would be made methodically applicable to the redeemed in Jesus through a redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) and through this spiritual catalyst of the enlivened spiritual law fused with the redeemed conscience (the new creation in Messiah), the indwelling Holy Spirit would produce “fruits of righteousness” (Galatians 5; Matthew 7:15-20) through the Christian and this fruit would fulfill the righteous mandates of all Law, that which was codified in stone at Sinai, scratched upon parchment by Moses and the eternal spiritual law infused within the human genome on Day-6.
The New Covenant and the Rock of Stumbling for the Jew and Israelite…
It is true that the New Covenant’s ordination was to manifest through Israel’s children as was the Great Commission and Jesus came to them specifically for that purpose (Matthew 15:24); unfortunately, tragically, Israel’s children rejected the Great Commission, Israel’s children rejected the New Covenant’s Gospel and its Messenger, the Messiah, Jesus Christ; therefore, due to the critical eschatological necessity for the New Covenant’s Gospel and its Messenger, the atonement for sin, the defeat of Satan at Golgotha (1 John 3:8b; Genesis 3:15), Elohim had no eschatological default other than delegating the New Covenant, the Gospel, the Great Commission, to the Gentile (Romans 11:25). The New Covenant and its Administrator, the Messiah, Yeshua, has become a stumbling block to the unbelieving Jew and Israelite who will ultimately perish in the “second death” due their absence of saving faith (Romans 9:33).
Israel’s children failed Elohim yet the imperative of Satan’s defeat at Golgotha through Messiah, the blood atonement for sin through the Messiah, MUST BE FULFILLED in order for all things to culminate in That Day, the Tribulation; the Millennial Kingdom; the Judgment of the Condemned; the destruction of the Earth and Heavens by fire; the purification of the Earth and the creation of the New Earth; the divine manifestation of the New Jerusalem.
Elohim will not be mocked nor will His eschatological purposes concerning the defeat of Satan, the destruction of the Devil’s works via Messiah at Golgotha (1 John 3:8b) via the Gospel and the reestablishment of order, peace, holiness, to His Kingdom be thwarted by a hard-hearted, obstinate, people who refuse to believe by faith that Yeshua is Messiah. Israel is welcome in the New Covenant but Torah and Sinai and Moses are simply eschatological roadmaps and NOT the destination (Galatians 3:24; 4:4). Yeshua is the Destination and only by faith in Yeshua as Messiah will Israel find life in the Kingdom, the New Jerusalem (John 14:6).
The New Covenant
Jeremiah 31:31–34
31 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. 33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
Ezekiel 11
19 And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. 21 But as for those whose heart goes after their detestable things and their abominations, I will 4 bring their deeds upon their own heads, declares the Lord God.”
Ezekiel 36
24 I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
Conclusion,
Each of the articles defining the uniqueness of the New Covenant are fulfilled through Messiah’s Gospel, His blood atonement (Matthew 26:28) and its application in the life of the redeemed through faith in Jesus today; again, unfortunately, Israel disqualified itself from the New Covenant due unbelief (Romans 9-10-11; Matthew 23:37).
What Elohim foreordained for Israel was rejected by Israel’s children; therefore, the articles and promises of the New Covenant have been delegated to the Gentile until the fullness of the Gentiles have entered the Kingdom of Elohim (Romans 11:25). Jesus is the Door to this Kingdom (John 10:9) and he or she who enters therein by faith in Jesus as their Messiah will be saved from the “second death” in Hell (John 3; John 14:6; Revelation 20:11-15).
Seeking obedience to Elohim the Father? Which path are you pursuing: Sinai or Golgotha?
Discussion,
If you desire to honor the Father through obedience you must FIRST believe in the Son whom He sent to provide you blood atonement (John 6:29). Intimate, personal, New Covenant relationship with the Father can only be established by “faith” in the Son, Jesus Christ, believing with a sincere heart that Jesus is Messiah who died to pay your sin-debt owed the Father, a sin-debt mandating sinless blood atonement, atonement you could never provide yourself (John 3; 1 Peter 1:18-19). It is by covenant promise to all who believe in the Son that they will receive the indwelling Holy Spirit who takes up residence within the redeemed in Jesus as the indwelling Holy Spirit is the Seal and Guarantor of New Covenant relationship with the Father (Ephesians 1:13-14).
Second, if you desire to please the Father through obedience subsequent salvation by faith, you must walk by the indwelling Holy Spirit, daily, in New Covenant sanctification (Galatians 5:16) allowing the Spirit to employ your redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) and the spiritual law written upon your heart (Romans 2:14-15) to produce divine fruit through you that fulfills all law (Galatians 5:22-23).
Torah, Moses, Sinai, civil-ceremonial law, are members of a bygone, distant, covenant (Hebrews 8:7). Stop living in that which condemns you (Romans 3:20; Romans 8:1-11) and seek the Living Elohim’s Truth concerning grace and faith and peace and intimacy (Galatians 2:16); that is, the Gospel of Jesus Christ; Jesus our Messiah who provided you precious blood atonement at Golgotha (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 1:18-19) and welcomes you into the family of Elohim through the forgiveness of sin via New Covenant relationship, divine intimacy and peace, established by faith in Jesus as Messiah who died for you (Romans 5:1).
18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
A response to those who insist that Elohim’s love is “unconditional.” (A premise posited in a religious debate forum)
Concerning “Creation” and Elohim’s love… (conditional or unconditional?)
1) Actually, ex nihilo is not accurate concerning the creation narrative though many theologians interpret same from the Scriptures. If one listens to the Holy Spirit, they will find that the Son, Jesus Christ (John 1, Hebrews 1, Colossians 1, Hebrews 11:3) was commissioned by the Father (John 3:35) to take elements from the unseen Spiritual Realm and fashion those elements into matter; matter that can be apprehended by a life-form constrained by Time and physics (Hebrews 11:3). This was done in response to an unfathomable rebellion that manifested in the Kingdom of Elohim; the Realm of Time, the physical World, were created as a temporary repository for that rebellion while said rebellion, spiritual warfare, is partially constrained by Time and physics. A temporary physical realm created for a specific purpose, dealing with Satan’s rebellion, and that physical realm will ultimately be consumed by fire, purified, remolded, and provide a foundation for the eternal Kingdom, the New Jerusalem (2 Peter 3:3-13; Revelation 21).
Concerning the creation of the human genome and Elohim’s love (conditional or unconditional?)
2) Human Kind was created in the “spiritual image” of Elohim on Day-6 (Genesis 1:26-28) meaning that Elohim imparted certain divine communicable attributes into the unique human genome; this, for Elohim’s eschatological purposes going forward; primarily, this concerns Elohim’s objective “to destroy the works of the Devil” via the Messiah (1 John 3:8b) and humanity would play a strategic role in that eschatological plan.
Nothing beautiful about it but simply a creative necessity concerning the battle strategy called “the Gospel;” a divine battle strategy that was ordained “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10; Genesis 3:15-21).
Jesus tells us that He observed His nemesis, Satan, extricated from the Kingdom in preparation for this war that rages around us and through us (Luke 10:18); therefore, we find Satan in Eden who initiates strife upon the Earth through his charismatic attributes (Genesis 3; Ezekiel 28:11+).
The Gospel and Elohim’s love (conditional or unconditional?)
3) Elohim has chosen to deal with Lucifer, the rebellion, through the Gospel and selfless love as demonstrated at Golgotha via Messiah; this, a divine battle strategy seeking to maintain volitional love and intimacy with His created faithful angels that did not ally with Lucifer in the rebellion; humanity is simply a unique pawn in that battle strategy and Elohim has shown grace and mercy to humanity through the Son but humanity is NOT a prized possession but is wicked and vile and unworthy (Genesis 6): therefore, Elohim’s grace and mercy is due His nature (1 John 4:7-21), not our worthiness and Elohim’s mercy is conditioned upon our choices relevant to whom we choose to serve, Jesus or Satan.
Angels (eternal creatures) – Humanity (the second death) and Elohim’s love (conditional or unconditional?)
4) The only reason Elohim has pursued the eschatological battle strategy of the Gospel is due the fact that angels were created to exist eternally, they do not die; therefore, the angelic rebellion mandated a unique battle strategy that only Elohim could construct; this, through Messiah and the Holy Spirit (Luke 20:36). This is why Satan and his angels will suffer eternally in Hell (Revelation 20:10) while unredeemed humanity will perish in the “second death” subsequent the Judgment of the Condemned (Revelation 20:11-15).
Salvation – free will and Elohim’s love (conditional or unconditional?)
5) Salvation is completely based upon “free will” as free will is essential for love and intimacy with our Creator to manifest with purity and authenticity; unless humanity and the angels possess the volition to choose to love Elohim, their actions, their relationship with Elohim, would be defined as robotic and therefore impotent concerning authentic love and relationship. Authentic love and intimacy in a reciprocal relationship cannot be realized via roboticism, fear, or coercion; true intimacy can only exist in an atmosphere of mutual respect and adoration which only manifests by a free will choice to engage in that relationship. Nothing beautiful or predestined or unconditional, about it…just basic logic.
Elohim’s love and humanity (conditional or unconditional?)
6) Elohim’s “love” is conditional. Humanity can “choose” to ally with Elohim through faith as part of Elohim’s eschatological plan to defeat Satan and the works of evil or humanity can ally with Satan and work against the defeat of Satan and the rebellious angels (demons), but there is very little “beautiful” about creation in Genesis 1-3 as the creation narrative was spiritually mandated for eschatological purposes going forward and the previous 6000-years of horror, suffering, death, manifest from the spiritual war that rages through us and around us is of necessity, not love for humanity but love for the faithful angelic creation that Elohim cherishes beyond human comprehension.
Elohim’s love expressed at Golgotha is primarily focused upon the defeat of Satan works (death-Hell-the grave) and protecting His divine, cherished, relationship with the faithful angelic creation;
Elohim’s mercy toward a hoard of unworthy, filthy, flesh-Hell bound creatures is conditioned upon the choice to serve Elohim by faith in Messiah or serve Satan through the rejection of Messiah; humanity is afforded an opportunity to take part in the spoils of war via faith in what our Warrior, Jesus Christ, has done as His primary objective was the defeat of Satan while maintaining volitional intimacy with the faithful angelic creation, we, humanity, are the byproducts of that eschatological plan and our eternal destiny is predicted upon choice; therefore, Elohim’s love is conditional and predicated upon what Human Kind “chooses” to do with Messiah Jesus.
