Law and Righteousness (a right standing) with the Father and the persistent, insidious, demonically rooted, foolishness of legalism…
Faith establishes the impotency of the law to save and redeem (Romans 3:31) as the law only defines one’s sin void atonement (Romans 3:20); in fact, the law curses and condemns anyone seeking righteousness through it (Galatians 3:10) as the law demands absolute perfection (James 2:10) and we’re all sinners already condemned by the law (Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23); therefore, anyone who seeks the law to please the Father concerning righteousness is a legalistic fool as they serve the devil, not the Holy Spirit through faith in Messiah Jesus (Galatians 3).
Anyone who desires eternal life, a pardon from the second death in Hell, will NOT attain same through vain attempts to keep a law or a day or a diet or a tradition. If YOU desire eternal life you must first comply with the Father’s will (John 6:29); you must first repent-turn away from your rebelliousness toward the Father’s will for your life and believe-trust in Jesus as your Messiah who died for you (Luke 13:3; John 3). It is ONLY by faith in Jesus that you will enter into New Covenant relationship with the Father through the imputation – gifting of Jesus’ righteousness over your life by faith (John 14:6; 2 Corinthians 5:21). It is only through the New Covenant Gospel that the words of eternal life are clearly and unambiguously articulated and firmly established; this, by grace through faith in Jesus, NOT LAW (John 3; Galatians 2:16).
A righteousness that pleases the Father,
Once you have established New Covenant relationship with the Father through faith in Jesus as your Messiah and received the Holy Spirit as Guarantor of that covenant relationship (Ephesians 1:13-14), it is the indwelling Holy Spirit who methodically walks you in daily sanctification and guides your redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) via the law written upon your heart (Romans 2:14-15) to please the Father through the production of fruits of righteousness that actually honor and glorify the Father as opposed to works of self-righteousness through enslavement to letters etched in stone or scratched upon parchment; letters that can never save the soul from death in Hell (Galatians 5; Galatians 2:16; Romans 7:6; Isaiah 64:6).
A wayward Jew asked: “…why are Christians so obsessed with bringing Jews to Christianity?”
Christian response,
Christians don’t want the Jew or Israelite to perish in Hell and Scripture tells us that an overwhelming number of Jacob’s children will die in unbelief having rejected their Messiah and consequently die in Hell (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27); therefore, the redeemed faithful in Messiah are obligated to the Great Commission; therefore, the Christian feels the need to tell the Jew and Israelite about Messiah Yeshua that they not perish in abject spiritual ignorance; therefore, plant the seed so-to-speak.
Jacob’s children are under Judgment relevant to the Jewish Curse in response to their forefather’s demands that Messiah’s blood, His murder at Golgotha advocated – initiated by Jacob’s children, be upon them and their children (Matthew 27:25); therefore, Israel’s children are spiritually blind, spiritually deaf, their heart is hardened against the Truth, they are sheep being led to the slaughter by Satan; therefore, it is incumbent upon those who love Jesus Christ to tell and warn the Jew and Israelite of their precarious spiritual situation and plead with them to shake-off the bonds of spiritual lethargy and arrogance and repent of their sin, fully-sincerely believe and trust in Yeshua as Messiah and LIVE! Judaism-Torah are simply a roadmap and NOT the destination; Yeshua as Messiah by faith is the destination (Galatians 3:24-26).
Israel’s self-deception,
The obstinate religious Jew and Israelite will often cite Ezekiel 33:19 and/or Ezekiel 18:21-32 and incorrectly assume that they can repent, turn from their wicked ways, follow Yahweh’s statutes, and be saved through self-righteousness e.g. works of the Law; others, will also cite Romans 11:26 void context and incorrectly believe that “all of Israel will be saved” actually denotes the entirety of Jacob’s children will be saved from Hell due their genealogy or heritage; this too, is a lie from Hell as the Scripture is applicable to a besieged and proselytized remnant that endures the Tribulation Era, witnesses Messiah’s 2nd-Advent to Mt. Olivet and accompanies Messiah into His Millennial Kingdom; therefore, it is incumbent upon every faithful Christian to witness to the lost and Hell-bound Jew and Israelite concerning their need for Yeshua as Messiah by faith.
Seeing that the Christian is not under law but under grace (Romans 6:14) how does the Christian reconcile the instructions, the commandments, of Jesus with the freedom from enslavement to law received through the Holy Spirit in the New Covenant (Romans 7:6); after all, Jesus did say “If you love me you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15)?
First of all, if you desire to know and understand and internalize what Jesus taught; if you desire to honor Messiah’s commandments articulated during His Earthly ministry, you must first enter into New Covenant relationship with the Father by faith in the Son, trust fully in Jesus as your Messiah who died for you (John 3) and receive the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) who will bring to your remembrance all that Jesus has said (John 14:26) and this with spiritual understanding and the anointing to make Messiah’s teaching, His commandments, applicable to your personal life (1 John 2:27).
Second, walk in obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit given you as Guarantor of New Covenant relationship with the Father when you have trusted in Jesus as your Messiah (Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 1:13-14); it is the indwelling Holy Spirit who employs the spiritual law written upon your heart (Romans 2:14-15) in combination with the redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17), a new creation received from your New Covenant relationship with the Father, and through you the Spirit will produce fruits of righteousness against which there is no Law and that fruit fulfills all Law (Galatians 5). Jesus said “You will know them by their fruit” (Matthew 7:15-20).
In response to your faith in Jesus as your Messiah, the Father has gifted-imputed the righteousness, the sinless perfection, of Jesus into and over your life (2 Corinthians 5:21) and by covenant promise the Father has declared you “not guilty” (Hebrews 8:12) and you have become a member of Elohim’s inner circle as His family and that fruit which the Spirit produces through you via your obedience, the Father is blessed and pleased and ultimately glorified.
I could write for many hours explaining the genesis of America’s death beginning in the late 19th-Century with Progressive fool John Dewey (the father of modern education); the GRU/KGB influence on America’s public schools, print and Hollywood media subsequent World War II; Progressive-Communist-Atheistic influencers in America’s Courts of Jurisprudence that vomited out such demonically rooted decisions like Engel v. Vitale (1962) removing Jesus and prayer from the American classroom and Roe v. Wade (1973) that “legitimized” the murder of babies in the womb, federally, and in the same year that the APA declassified/removed the sin of homosexuality from its DSM as a mental illness seeking to legitimize and buffer the societal shame of antisocial/aberrant/unsustainable sexual conduct; the Progressive infusion of demonically-rooted Darwinian Evolutionary Theory into America’s classrooms in 1963, one year subsequent the removal of Jesus from those classrooms via Engel v. Vitale (1962) – there has been no greater progenitor of Atheism, Socialism, Progressivism, Marxism and Secular Humanism than Darwin’s evolutionary idiocy forced upon our most innocent from elementary to graduate school. These demonic strategies have, like the frog in the pot, subtly undermined America’s Christian Heritage; this, as our Nation founded upon the precepts of Christianity, the Bible, sustainable mores, norms, ethics, values, is crumbling before our eyes and there is no turning back.
For the sake of succinctness, understand that the Progressives-Democrats-Marxists employed a strategic and subtle strategy of advocating policies and laws that ingratiated the Adamic sin-nature of humanity (Romans 5:12) and focused on sensuality, pleasuring the flesh, the penis, the vulva, the mind stayed on sensuality and titillating pleasure while enjoining those sensually based policies with laws and edicts and procedures that under girded their desires for a socialistic utopia controlled, managed, by the bourgeoisie and sustained by the labor of the proletariat; this socialistic – communistic strategy mandated the eradication of America’s middle class, the fruition of that strategy in progress as I type this.
America’s Founders were well aware of mankind’s propensity to compromise with the flesh and wallow in defilement until one self-destructs in hopelessness as does the society they represent; therefore, our Founder’s envisioned a social experiment rooted in “We the People,” a form of self-governance via a representative republic where a tyrannical King or intrusive government bureaucracy was eschewed in lieu of a Christian, morality based society whose behavior, thoughts, motives, were constrained and motivated by the indwelling Holy Spirit via the Gospel message via faith in Jesus Christ as Messiah and Jesus as King over America.
Essentially, the majority of our Founders understood that in order for the social experiment articulated within a “Constitution” to be successful, an overwhelming number of American citizens would have to be redeemed by faith in Jesus as Messiah, receive the indwelling Holy Spirit as their moral and ethical Teacher via the daily process of sanctification; otherwise, there would be insufficient numbers of police, prosecutors, judges, jails, to maintain order in a very limited form of government; this, eventually leading to anarchy and ultimately government tyranny in order to attain some form of societal sustainability. This is why early drawings of Colonial American municipalities show a Christian Church on almost every street corner…the pillar of a sustainable society, a healthy family.
In order for Government intrusion into our personal lives be minimized, personal freedoms maximized, the Holy Spirit would have to be America’s law giver and Tutor via the heart and a redeemed conscience that seeks sustainable morality.
Democrats-Progressives-Marxists in American society have successfully attacked America’s pillars of sustainability e.g. Jesus, the Holy Spirit, faith, the Church, the Biblical family, through indulging the sin-nature of human kind via deceiving our children, our fathers, our mothers, our pastors, our teachers, through ungodly tolerance for infanticide, unconscionable sexual perversion, Darwin, atheism and mass confusion, racism, hatred for self – hatred for America’s founding.
Over 60% of America’s citizenry today are secular humanists, atheists, socialists, historically and theologically ignorant, spiritually lost, headed to Hell and they don’t care. This is why America is perishing in immoral filth and addiction. This is why the Heavenly Father and Jesus and the Holy Spirit have walked away from America, a Nation founded by Elohim for the purposes of the Great Commission, a Great Commission rejected by Israel and ultimately given the Gentile.
America, like Rome, like Israel, has rejected Elohim; this, a prophetic sign that Israel will soon be engaged in a horrific nuclear war with Russia-China-Islam/Iran; this, prefacing Messiah’s Millennial Reign. America, in that Day, will have been relegated to a third-world status monetarily, militarily, ethically, morally, and therefore too impotent to intercede on Israel’s behalf. MARANATHA!
The Christian, possessing the indwelling Holy Spirit as the Guarantor of New Covenant with the Father (Ephesians 1:13-14), does NOT chase after letters, laws, ordinances, days or diets (Romans 6:14), but the Christian walks daily in daily sanctification through the leadership of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16) who employs the spiritual law written upon the heart (Romans 2:14-15) in conjunction with the redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) to produce fruits of righteousness through the faithful in Jesus; a righteousness against which there is NO LAW (Galatians 5); divine “fruit” that fulfills the moral mandates of ALL LAW (Galatians 5:16).
Christians are not enslaved to letters but serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter (Romans 7:6).
Obedience in the New Covenant is realized through obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit, not laws etched in stone or scratched upon parchment that demand perfection from a sin-nature that can never comply sufficiently to please our Heavenly Father (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10; Isaiah 64:6).
Concerning Torah Law and the New Covenant,
The Law given Israel at Sinai through Moses was but a minute fragment of the eternal law of Elohim, that eternal law which finds its genesis in Eternity past. Torah Law was given for a Time and specific eschatological purpose, its purpose has fallen away into history.
The New Covenant is NOT governed by Torah Law but by the “law of the Spirit of life” which is eternally superior to the “law of sin and death” or Torah Law (Romans 8:2).
If you perish worshiping Torah to the exclusion of Messiah Jesus, you will perish in Hell in your apostasy as will an overwhelming majority of Jacob’s children who have compromised themselves with self-righteousness through Torah while simultaneously rejecting faith in their Messiah, Yeshua (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27; Romans 9).
A Theological Error emanating from Judaism and other religions that do not impart life… “Law finds its genesis at Sinai with Moses via Torah” “Law finds its genesis with Allah through Muhammad via the Quran”
The Holy Spirit tells us that where there is no law there is no sin (Romans 4:15; 5:13); therefore, how was Satan judged, adjudicated, convicted of sin i.e. covetousness and extricated from the Kingdom for that sin if the law was initiated at Sinai?
How were the Adamic and Noahic generations judged of defilement worthy of death by water save eight if there was no law prior to Sinai?
How did Elohim differentiate the righteous by faith (Hebrews 11) and the wicked by disobedience (Romans 1:18-32) prior to Sinai lest a form of law existed to provide a differentiation between good and evil?
There is a theological error that abounds throughout Judaism and other religions that Sinai/Moses or Allah/Muhammad was the genesis of Law when Sinai is NOTHING NEW or novel but simply a fragmented codification of the moral aspects of the law of the Spirit (Romans 8:2; Romans 2:14-15) that has been relevant as an arbiter of free will subsequent the creation of the angels. Sinai, the Law of Moses, was given Israel for sanctification – eschatological purposes and its relevance is but a moment in Time when compared to the eternal spiritual law of the Spirit of life (Romans 8:2).
Islam’s Allah is Satan masquerading as an angel of light via the Arabic moon god (2 Corinthians 11:14) while Muhammad is a 7th-Century demon-possessed nomadic pedophile, murdering, thief, who plagiarized the Torah to construct the Quran.
Elohim (Genesis 1:1), the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, IS the origin of Law; this, before Time began.
The law was given by Elohim beginning with the creation of the angels as the law is Elohim’s arbiter of free will. The law was infused within the human genome on Day-6 and the moral attributes of that spiritual law was to be arbitrated by the conscience as the law was to act as a bulwark against societal extinction by mitigating unrestrained narcissism that is foundational to the sin-nature inherited from Adam (Romans 5:12).
The “spiritual law,” written upon the heart of humanity, is also foundational to the codification of the Code of Hammurabi and Sinai’s Commandments, the Law of Moses, as Sinai, a fragmented-abbreviated codification of the spiritual law, was given Jacob’s children as a bulwark against compromise with paganism that inundated the Tribes and mandated servitude to Baal and Molech; servitude to false deities which would have stymied Elohim’s eschatological plans “to destroy the works of the Devil” via His Messiah (1 John 3:8b) via a battle strategy known today as “The Gospel of Grace” that was ordained “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10).
Ultimately, Elohim’s purpose through the Law of Moses was as a “tutor” to point wayward Jews and Israelite’s to their need for Messiah by faith (Galatians 3:24); unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of Jacob’s children reject their “tutor” just as they reject their Messiah, Yeshua (Galatians 3:24), and cling to self-righteousness through vain attempts to keep the Law in pursuit of righteousness in the flesh as opposed to faith (Romans 9:30-33).
Concerning the Jew, Israelite and Hebrew Roots fanatic that pesters me about the Tanakh and their loyalty to same…
Jesus entered Time through the Tribe of Judah and came to a people under the Law Covenant and made every attempt to redeem those people for the Father’s eschatological plan for Time and Eternity but those people were stubborn and arrogant and clung to the Law through self-righteousness while rejecting faith and belief in their Messiah…the Tanakh failed as did Jacob’s children as are you. The Tanakh is a roadmap, not the destination. You weary me. The Judgment of Messiah against you will be righteous and dreadful.
Jesus and the “lost sheep of Israel.” Jesus’ eschatological ordination efforts relevant to Jacob’s children and the Gospel and the free will choices that forever altered Elohim’s relationship with Israel…
Jesus did NOT initially come to the Gentile as His ordination and eschatological mission was to the Jew first (John 15:24) as Jesus was sent “only” to the lost sheep of Israel. The Gentile was to be proselytized in the New Covenant’s Gospel via Jacob’s children who were foreordained to be part of Messiah’s blessing to every family of the Earth as promised the Patriarch, Abraham (Genesis 12:3b).
The Gentiles were to be grafted into the Olive Tree by faith via the hearing of the Gospel preached by Jacob’s children; unfortunately, Israel’s children rejected their divine eschatological ordination through their murder of their Messiah and their demands that Messiah’s blood be upon them and their children (Matthew 27:25); therefore, Elohim’s eschatological will concerning the Gospel and the destruction of Satan’s works through that divine battle strategy would not be deterred due man’s free will choices (1 John 3:8b); therefore, Elohim simply transitioned the Gospel message and its eschatological purpose over to the Gentiles until such time the fullness of the Gentiles have entered the Kingdom (Romans 11:25).
In response to Israel’s rejection of and murder of their Messiah, only a remnant of Israel’s children will escape the “second death” in Hell due their unbelief and the Jewish Curse emanating from the demands of their forefathers that Messiah’s blood be upon them and their children (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27; Matthew 27:25).
To whom much is entrusted, much is expected (Luke 12:48). The “Door” of salvation (John 10:9-16) remains open to the repentant Jew and Israelite who trusts in Yeshua as Messiah; unfortunately, only a relative few will break the bonds of self-righteousness through Judaism and Law to seek grace and mercy via the New Covenant’s Gospel (Romans 9:27-33).
Serious theological error touted in a religious forum: “Jesus took away sin at His baptism.”
Jesus’ Baptism had NOTHING to do with sin but was a Jewish purification ritual that Jesus employed to make Himself “theologically acceptable” to the Jewish community as Jesus came specifically to Jacob’s children as He was seeking to proselytize them in the Gospel of Grace as Jesus was to prepare Jacob’s children as ministers of the Great Commission; An eschatological endeavor foreordained by the Father that Jacob’s children rejected.
For the record, John 3:5 has absolutely NOTHING to do with water baptism as an element of salvation but is simply a comparison/contrast to natural birth v. spiritual rebirth. It is ONLY the blood of Jesus our Messiah that atones for sin, NOT water.
