If you enter baptismal waters with the mindset that you’re supplementing the sufficiency of Jesus to save you by faith, alone, in Him as your Messiah you are not redeemed, you remain in your sin, you’re walking the broad road to death in Hell. Water baptism is an act of obedience that follows salvation by faith in Jesus, alone. Jesus neither desires or accepts your works as supplementation for His divine sufficiency to save by faith, exclusively.
