In the New Covenant, the faithful in Jesus don’t pursue laws, edicts, days, diets, but their “law” is spiritual and their obedience is to the Holy Spirit who produces divine “fruit” through the redeemed. It is this fruit that fulfills all law, spiritual and codified (Romans 2:14-15); therefore, when the redeemed in Jesus walk by the Spirit, they fulfill the letter of the law and its spiritual origin. Christians don’t walk in self righteousness defined by keeping laws, days, diets, rules, regulations, but Christians honor the Father by daily sanctification via the indwelling Holy Spirit.
