Why did God create the Devil?

Response to the frequently asked question, “Why did God create the Devil?”

God did not create a devil…God created a most beautiful, anointed, cherub angel with free will who chose to defile his position of authority by coveting God’s dominion and authority and initiating a war against God…it is this cherub angel’s discernment, or the lack thereof, that morphed him into “the deceiver,” not God. God endows both His angelic and human creation with free will so that love and relationship with Him can manifest in purity with authenticity; if we were created as robots, love could not manifest and robotic love is not rewarding nor is it genuine…this is not God’s will.

If not for the rebellion of God’s anointed cherub angel, there would have been NO reason for the creation of matter, Time, this Universe, our genome…all of which have been created to deal with a horrific rebellion that manifest in the Kingdom before the beginning of Time. The destructive struggle initiated by an anointed cherub angel has been removed from the Kingdom and placed upon this Earth to be dealt with partially constrained by Time and physics. As chosen participants in this cosmic struggle, formerly declared by Elohim in Genesis 3:15 – battle strategy outlined in Genesis 3:21, a war between good and evil, every man and woman will choose one of two-sides:

1) Soldiers serving God the Father by faith in Jesus Christ and receiving the reward of eternal life and service in the Kingdom forever – or –

2) Servants of the Devil with a future of punishment similar to that of the Evil One in Hell.
