Law Keepers are NOT Justified before God

Law Keepers…you are not under grace and you will NOT enter the Kingdom of God, why? Allow me, in accordance with the Holy Spirit, to explain…It is written,

For all who depend on the Law [seeking justification and salvation by obedience to the Law and the observance of rituals] are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed (condemned to destruction) is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, so as to practice them.” Galatians 3:10 (AMP)

It is written concerning man’s depravity,9 What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, 10 as it is written:“None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” Romans 3 (ESV)

Discussion…

You cannot keep any Commandment sufficiently to be saved by your own efforts as you are a sinner under the condemnation of sin (Romans 3:23); therefore, no one is justified in the Father’s sight through their attempts to keep a Law because the Law only defines sin void atonement (Romans 3:20; Galatians 2:16). If one could live sufficiently righteous to earn their salvation, Jesus Christ would not have needed to suffer and die in your place (Galatians 2:21). You cannot attain righteousness or relationship with God the Father through keeping a Law because you have already violated the Law and the Law has condemned you to death and cursed you for eternity (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10); therefore, the ONLY hope for sinful mankind is NOT in a Law but in God’s grace (unmerited favor not attainable by human effort) through faith (trusting-believing) in Jesus Christ as Lord and Mediator for our sin (John 3:16-18; John 14:6). Mankind’s ONLY hope is trusting in Jesus’ perfection and holiness and righteousness through faith and receiving the righteousness of Jesus imputed into and over our life by God’s grace and mercy (2 Corinthians 5:21)…YOU CANNOT BE SUFFICIENTLY GOOD OR HOLY OR RIGHTEOUS IN AND OF YOURSELF TO EARN GOD’S FORGIVENESS!

Concerning the Law and our obedience to same…

Our obedience becomes relevant SUBSEQUENT to our confession of Jesus as our Lord as it is our obedience SUBSEQUENT to our confession that validates our faith and substantiates the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit in our life Who is the Guarantor of our relationship with God the Father, forever (Ephesians 1:13-14; Matthew 7:15-20). A Christian is NOT under the Law of the Decalog or the Mosaic Laws as per the Torah but the Christian walks in obedience to the Law of the Spirit who carefully teaches us, tutors us, conforms us to the image of Christ through the process of sanctification as the Law of God in the New Covenant is written upon our heart and etched in our minds NOT on parchment or stone (Romans 7:6; Hebrews 10:16).

The Law only breeds wrath leading to Hell…

If you attempt to find righteousness with the Father through the works of the Law, you have denied grace and your are under condemnation and will not enter the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:4). There is NO duplicitousness relevant to God’s righteous requirements concerning eternal life; mankind is NOT saved by the works of his hands (Genesis 3:21; Ephesians 2:8-9; Isaiah 64:6) or any futile attempt to live righteously as per a Law, but mankind finds favor with God the Father ONLY by “believing” in the Son and “trusting” in the Son, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Mediator for sin; there is no other Way to life in the Kingdom of God but through Jesus as you Lord and Mediator for your sin and this truism is relevant for Jew, Israelite, Gentile…NO EXCEPTIONS! (John 14:6; John 8:24; Acts 4:12).
