In response to the atheists that mock God’s creation narrative void understanding relevant to “sin,” the “Serpent,” the “fruit of the Tree of Knowledge”
Sin is disobedience to God’s will for one’s life; basically, an archery term meaning “to miss the mark.” If one knows God’s Plan for Time and Eternity, they understand the “fruit” of the tree of knowledge of good and evil is wholly irrelevant as it’s not about a tree or fruit but about obedience v. disobedience and compromise with evil that destroys one’s life, their mind-body-soul and negatively affects their offspring for generations. Adam was placed in a virtual paradise and God tested Adam to confirm Adam’s love for God; did Adam love God for the sustenance and provisions provided or did Adam love God with agape LOVE because God is his Father and Creator? We, as Adam’s offspring, are confronted with this same choice, do we love God in Jesus Christ because He first loved us – or – do we love our sin and our flesh and this World more than our Creator? Our eternal destiny depends completely on our response to this question.
You are Adam’s offspring and you have disobeyed our God and you continue to exist in that disobedience and daily your soul is prepared for death in Eternity as your disobedience and refusal to repent and turn to Jesus for forgiveness of sin has condemned you in futility and meaninglessness. God the Father has set before you LIFE in Jesus as your Lord – or – cursing and death in your servitude to Satan; unfortunately, you have foolishly and stubbornly chosen death and you are therefore “without excuse” and you will surely reap what you are sowing in your blasphemy and war against the God who loves you.
Please understand that God is perfect in Holiness and Righteousness and He will not, He cannot, allow your unrepentant, destructive, sin to enter His Kingdom subsequent to the death of your body in Time; therefore, God has selflessly and lovingly provided atonement for your sin through Jesus Christ as your sin-Bearer but you must believe that Jesus died for YOU (John 3:16-18); otherwise, you will not enter the Kingdom and Hell, as a repository for Satan, the fallen angels, the unredeemed, will be your fate (Revelation 21:27; Revelation 20:11-15).
Concerning Satan as the Serpent,
The Holy Spirit is referencing the attributes of Satan as a serpent; the Holy Spirit has told you what Eve observed in Eden and the one Eve communicated with but you must desire to know; truly, snakes and donkeys don’t converse in human dialog but God’s ways are seldom our way…it is better to trust in God and obey (Revelation 12; Ezekiel 28:12-15).
