Atheist mocks African Christians, calling them ignorant, stating that Christianity was not the religion of their ancestors but that it was forced upon the people. Is this possible?

God the Father has so decreed “faith” and “belief” as the precursors to relationship with Him that coercion into the Christian “faith” is not possible. One may be manipulated into following pharaseeical legalism but they are not “Christian” as only those who have willingly entered into a relationship with God the Father by grace (unmerited favor) through faith (sincerely trusting-believing) in Jesus Christ as Lord for the mediation of sin and subsequently having received the indwelling Holy Spirit as the Seal/Guarantor of relationship; only then, does one experience the reality of Jesus Christ as Lord in Truth.
