To those who mock the Church, faith, and espouse “universal salvation” and “predestination”….
Enoch, Noah, Abraham, were all Gentiles representing only a few of an untold number saved by “faith,” alone, long before the advent of Jacob and his 12-tribes known as Israel. Nothing, concerning the path to righteousness with Elohim, has changed and nothing Israel accomplished changed the fact that Elohim honors “faith,” not works or law or self-righteousness concerning righteousness with Him. Hebrews 11
Jesus’ primary mission,
Jesus’ primary reason for entering the Realm of Time was “to destroy the works of the Devil” at Golgotha (1 John 3:8b) via a battle strategy known as “The Gospel of Grace” (New Covenant) which was ordained “before Time began” 2 Timothy 1:8-10) and that divine battle strategy was first pictured for us by Elohim in Eden (Genesis 3:21).
The essential nature of “faith,”
Mankind has always found “righteousness” (a right standing) with Elohim by “faith” and this includes those of the Adamic and Noahic generations as well as those under the “Law Covenant” and “Blood Sacrifices” as it was not the Law or the blood of animals that engendered covenant relationship with Elohim but it was the one who expressed “faith” in what Elohim had promised (Hebrews 11).
Jesus’ implications concerning our justification/righteousness before the Father via the imputation (2 Corinthians 5:21) is relevant for the Kingdom; that is, no human being born of Adam’s seed (Romans 5:12), irrespective of their saving faith, could enter the Kingdom of Elohim void atonement for sin as “nothing impure will ever enter therein” (Revelation 21:27) and it was Jesus’ faithfulness at Golgotha, His shed blood, that fulfilled the mandates of Leviticus 17:11 and Jesus thereby became “The Door” to the Kingdom for all who “believe” (John 10:9-16; John 3); hence, the need for the temporary spiritual abode of Sheol/Hades-Paradise (Luke 16) where faithful Saints of faith were interned awaiting Messiah’s acceptable atonement before accessing the Kingdom.
Role of the Church,
The Church was never meant to be a substitute for one’s personal responsibility to STUDY Elohim’s written words and show themselves approved as a worker and servant of Elohim (1 Timothy 2:15) but the Church is a place of gathering, comfort, learning, sharing, a community, that believers in Jesus are commanded to not neglect their responsibility to gather together and encourage one another as Messiah’s 2nd-Advent approaches (Hebrews 10:25).
In closing, concerning universal salvation and predestination,
Only a relatively “few” will be saved from the “second death” in Hell (Matthew 7:13-14; Revelation 20:11-15) as per our Messiah Jesus. The heresy of “Universal Salvation” and Calvin’s “Predestination” are works of Satan among the theologically arrogant and those lacking knowledge of Elohim’s eschatological imperatives and the essential nature of “free will” among both the angelic and human creations.
