How were people in the Old Testament saved from death in Hell?

All of humanity, from Adam to this very day, were and are saved by “faith,” alone (Hebrews 11). Faith internalized; that is, “believing” Elohim is the One true Creator and that Elohim is faithful to do all that He has promised.

Why was Messiah Jesus necessary?
Jesus’ divine incarnation, the hypostatic union of deity and humanity (Philippians 2:5-11), was essential in order that mandated sinless blood atonement be made manifest for the purification of sin (Leviticus 17:11; Hebrews 10; Matthew 26:28) thereby permitting access to the Kingdom subsequent death of the body in Time (2 Corinthians 5:8); that is, “nothing impure” will ever enter the Kingdom (Rev 21:27); therefore, those who perished in death of the body prior to Messiah’s sacrificial blood atonement, these Old Testament saints, having died in faith, awaited Messiah’s atoning sacrifice for the purification of sin while detained in Sheol-Paradise (Luke 16; Psalm 16:10). Subsequent Messiah’s blood sacrifice, these Old Testament saints were escorted out of Sheol-Paradise into the Kingdom (Ephesians 4:7-10; Luke 23:43).
Faith (noun) has always been the KEY to Elohim’s heart and personal intimacy, righteousness, with Him; this, relevant to all Old Testament and New Testament men and women having attained an age of accountability. Jesus is the divine “Door” (John 10:9-16) to the Kingdom for all who “believe” by “faith” that He, alone, is Messiah who died for the sins of the whole World (John 1:29; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 2:1-2).
Atheism does not exist in reality; why is the deception promulgated among the aberrant?

There are no “facts” or “logic” relevant to Atheism as Atheism is a religion of fools as per the Holy Spirit (Psalm 14:1); Atheism is a religion and its tenets are arrogance and narcissism defending aberrant sin and a death-style culminating in eternal nihilism. Atheism’s “god” is Satan (2 Corinthians 4:4).
Christianity looks at the World from a Biblical perspective and the Bible simply aligns with what we see in nature and life around us. The Scriptures explain everything relevant concerning our creation and our existence within it while atheism explains NOTHING but provides only obfuscation for a debased and sinful life of addiction to narcissism and hedonism.
In its most basic assertions, the Bible tells you that we are the product of an omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, Designer and all that we see in nature and in the Heavens lends credence to this assertion; this, while the confounded and disturbed atheist has NO explanation for creation or how or why; therefore, Atheism truly does not exist…it is an illogical form of escapism, nihilism, that under girds a life of aberrant lust and destructive desires and narcissism unrestrained which inevitably culminates in a death defined by nihilism. Atheism is demonically rooted escapism from reality placating a seared, defiled, conscience.
Atheism is demonic deception in its genesis; Atheism is the illogical based in nihilism asserting ignorance. There are no true Atheists lest the one claiming same is mentally incompetent and completely unable to discern the World around him/her/he-she-his. The Atheist cannot truly say that a Designer – a Creator does not exist but they can only wish that He did not exist as they have NO OTHER PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION concerning the supernatural World around us and its origin. You can say you don’t “believe” but you cannot say in the affirmative via evidence that there is no God because you don’t KNOW and you possess no relevant counter argument that negates the reality of God or explains the reality around us that is supernatural, present clearly by design; thus, mandating a Designer.
Atheists live a life of self-deceit – wilful lies that placates a seared conscience (Romans 1:18-32).

Current Federal leadership in America is indicative of and the culmination of 60-years of moral and ethical rot resulting from unrestrained demonic ideological infiltration into the societal mainstream relentlessly attacking the American family; the Christian Church; America’s educational system; America’s youth; this, via Progressive idiocy modeled by the father of modern education, John Dewey; the greatest progenitor of Atheism in World history, Charles Darwin.
America, a Nation founded and ordained by Jesus our Messiah concerning the Gospel and the Great Commission, is, for all intents and purposes, dead on arrival. America’s Constitutional Republic has been hijacked and the sustainable norms, mores, ethics, values, essential for America’s sustainability e.g., Christian values of morality-love for Elohim, our Father-Son-Spirit; love for the Biblical family unit; love for one’s neighbor; true patriotism, a love for America and a fervent desire to serve Her and protect Her; cherished dignity and honor and morality; a strong, indelible, work ethic; an obsessive desire to protect America’s youth and policies focused upon ensuring their success as progenitors of the American dream…these have been eradicated through vile and destructive Progressives – Atheists – Secular Humanists and replaced by an overwhelming hoard of unsustainable citizenry who worship at the throne of the pagan god Molech where child sacrifice, mutilation-burning-torture in the womb is cheered and fought for in the streets of liberal America and in the impotent courts of Progressivism; a hoard of demons in flesh who fight and clamor for unconscionable sexual perversion – homosexuality – lesbianism – transsexualism – pedophilia – medical financial whores who profit by transitioning children from their biological sex to identify as the opposite sex via puberty blockers and unconscionable surgical sexual reassignment; a hoard of demons who worship at the throne of Carl Marx and Vladimir Lenin; a hoard of demons who froth over the invasion of America by Her most prolific enemies through an open and unsecured border; a hoard of demons who virtue signal and dismantle America’s Criminal Justice System and allow hardened criminals to rape, rob, pillage, torture, murder, American citizens; this, with little to no accountability.
The Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, have walked away from America and America has been left to Her own devices to reap what has been sown by the Atheist – Secular Humanist under the demonic title of Progressive. The god of this World, Satan (2 Corinthians 4:4) is king over America and his servants, the Progressive-Democrat-Liberal-Atheist-Secular Humanist are now pointing the way to Hell and like sheep led to the slaughter, America’s demonically deceived Progressives-Democrats-Atheists-Secular Humanists-Islamist’s-Marxists blindly comply.
Eschatology fulfilled? Where is the United States?
The Holy Spirit has clearly articulated that there is soon to come a coalition comprised of the Nations of Russia-China-Iran/Islam who will engage in a nuclear war with Jerusalem, Israel; this war will preface and initiate the 2nd Advent of Messiah Jesus to Mount Olivet outside the Eastern Gate of the Old City, Jerusalem. This will be a 3.5 years period replete with unconscionable suffering around the World but Jerusalem, Israel will be the focal point of Elohim’s attention as this nuclear conflict will ultimately initiate the Millennial Kingdom of Messiah Jesus. Jesus will be victorious in this soon-to-manifest nuclear war and one very interesting point of eschatological truth is that no relevant Western Power is actively involved as an ally of Israel.
America, where are you in eschatology?
There are suggestions by Eschatologists that a representative from a Western power intercedes only to ask “Have you come to take spoil?” relevant to the presence of the demonic alliance preparing to pounce upon Israel, but this Western peace envoy possesses no authority or military might sufficient to provide any form of military intervention or deterrence; this, indicating that the United States will have been made impotent monetarily, military, morally, ethically, and unable to ally with Israel who will have NO ONE but Jesus our Messiah to intercede for the children of Jacob. THIS IS ELOHIM’S ESCHATOLOGICAL WILL as throughout Israel’s history, Jacob’s children have always looked to an Earthly king or an ally Nation for intercession while Elohim has been essentially an afterthought, but NOT in the Day of our Lord as YESHUA, “The Lion from the Tribe of Judah,” alone, will be victorious (Revelation 5:5) and all of Israel will look upon Him whom they have pierced and they will come to faith in Yeshua and this “Jewish – Israeli remnant” will serve Him in His Millennial Kingdom (Zechariah 12:10; John 19:37).

Therefore, fellow Christians, do not be dismayed by the demonic forces at work within America via the Progressive – the Secular Humanist – the Marxist – the Atheist as these will all have their place in the Lake of Fire and the “second death” (Revelation 20:11-15). Let the people who honor Jesus our Messiah by faith “look UP for your redemption is drawing NEAR!” (Luke 21:28); therefore, stand fast in the Faith; Fellow Christian, do NOT look to the right or the left but plant firmly your eyes on Jesus our Messiah and endure to the end; know this, we who love and trust in Jesus our Messiah are victors along with Him. Did Jesus’ death only atone for past sins or all sin, past-present-future? What law is relevant in the New Covenant defining sin and Elohim’s expectations concerning obedience?

Jesus died for all sin, past-present-future (Hebrews 8-10; 1 John 2:2); otherwise, Jesus would be subject to repeated crucifixion as the bygone Law Covenant required repetitive blood sacrifices for the sins of Israel’s children; this, because the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sin (Hebrews 10:1-4).
Concerning Sinai and Moses, their purposes and the temporary, inferior, nature of codification…
The Ten-Commandments are but a mere fraction of Elohim’s comprehensive spiritual law; therefore, Sinai and Moses are wholly inadequate sources concerning righteousness with the Father. Sinai and Moses were given specifically to Israel’s children for sanctification and eschatological purposes in order to thwart Israel’s compromise with paganism; specifically, compromise with Baal and Molech; this, as Elohim did not desire a repeat of the demonically based failures of the Adamic and Noahic generations, two-generations who were governed solely by the spiritual law written upon the human heart (Romans 2:14-15) void the Holy Spirit as a relevant arbiter, a spiritual law that was negated, made impotent, by a seared conscience of a people group sold into demonic slavery and defilement via spiritual compromise (Romans 1:18-32).
Sinai was not given the Gentile lest same sought inclusion into Israel’s theocracy. Sinai was fragmented, codified, temporal, instructions to a people group through whom Elohim would endeavor to introduce His Messiah and His Gospel into the World to fulfill His promise to Abraham relevant to “a blessing to every family of the Earth” (Genesis 12:3b). Sinai’s intent was sanctification (a setting apart) of Israel’s children for Elohim’s eschatological purposes (“you shall be holy as I AM holy”) and Sinai was temporary, inadequate, as a purveyor of true righteousness as neither Sinai or Moses as codified laws could adequately address the totality of moral deterrence concerning human and angelic behavior required for true holiness and righteousness; hence, the eternal superiority of the Spiritual Law arbitrated by the indwelling Holy Spirit via a New Covenant.
Therefore,
The New Covenant is NOT regulated by Sinai or Moses or Days or Diets or Traditions or codified laws, but the man or woman who trusts in Messiah Jesus as LORD is redeemed by an imputed-gifted righteousness not their own (2 Corinthians 5:21; Genesis 3:21); that is, a divinely gifted righteousness earned for us by Messiah Jesus and fulfilled at Golgotha via blood atonement (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 1:18-19); therefore, the Christian is not enslaved to letters, laws, diets, days, traditions of a bygone Covenant of Law (Romans 6:14; 7:6; Hebrews 8:7), but the Christian serves through the tutelage of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14; John 14:16; Galatians 5:16) and the enlivened Spiritual Law written upon the heart (Hebrews 10:16), a Spiritual Law which is arbitrated by a redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) producing fruits of righteousness (Galatians 5:22-23) against which there is no law as these divine fruits fulfill all law, both codified and spiritual (Galatians 5:16-23).
Someone asked: “Why does the Scripture say that committing one sin makes you guilty of all?” (James 2:10) What alternative exists that makes one “right” with our Holy Creator?

James 2:10 is complimented by Galatians 3:10 where we learn that the codified law (Sinai – Moses), in order to attain righteousness (a right standing) with the Father through law-keeping, the law must be kept, obeyed, in absolute perfection (James 2:10) because Elohim is Perfect in Holiness and Righteousness and NOTHING impure will ever enter the Kingdom (Rev 21:27); herein lies the human conundrum, everyone born of Adam’s genome has sinned and fallen short of Elohim’s standard of perfection (Romans 5:12; 3:23).
Therefore, anyone who seeks eternal covenant relationship with Elohim through law-keeping is under a “curse” (Galatians 3:10) because the law only defines our culpability but provides no form of reconciliation with the Father through atonement as mandated by Leviticus 17:11 (Romans 3:20); therefore, the Father, in His mercy and compassion and grace, offers us the righteousness- sinless perfection of His Son, Jesus Christ; this righteousness apart from the law (Romans 3:21); a gifted/imputed righteousness earned for us by Jesus’ perfection is imputed-gifted into and over our lives by faith in Jesus as our Messiah (2 Corinthians 5:21); a divine gifting of righteousness as first pictured in Genesis 3:21 which is an act of pure grace (unmerited favor we did NOT earn) actuated through the simplicity of faith-trust-belief that Jesus is Messiah who died to atone for our sin-debt owed the Father, a sin-debt we could never pay our self through vain acts of obedience to a law, rule, day or diet.
As a result of this gifted-imputed righteousness of Messiah Jesus over our life through faith in Jesus as our Messiah, the Father then agrees, by New Covenant promise, to forgive-forget our sin, eternally (Hebrews 8:12), thereby reconciling fallen humanity back to Himself as we are made “positionally right” with Elohim via New Covenant promise; then, the Father endows the faithful in Jesus with the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) who continues a good work within the redeemed via daily sanctification (Galatians 5:16) where the Spirit enlivens the Spiritual Law written upon the human heart (Romans 2:14-15; 8:2) and mates that Spiritual Law with a redeemed conscience i.e. “the new creation” in Messiah (2 Corinthians 5:17) and the Spirit produces divine “fruit” (Galatians 5:16-23) through the redeemed in Jesus, fruit that fulfills all law, both codified and spiritual; in this, there is eternal peace with Elohim (Romans 5:1).
Therefore, James 2:10 testifies that righteousness (a right standing) with Elohim (Genesis 1:1) is not possible through the law or vain attempts to obey same but that righteousness with Elohim can only manifest through faith in the “Righteous One,” Jesus our Messiah, and this righteousness is gifted-imputed by New Covenant promise and said righteousness cannot be earned through self-righteousness and anyone who seeks covenant with Elohim through self-righteousness is “cursed” (Galatians 3:10).
Concerning the current conflict between Israel’s IDF and Palestine’s “HAMAS” – Iran’s-Yemen’s Houthis – Lebanon’s “Hezbollah” // A response to the Palestinian sympathizers…
Israel was not “founded” in 1948…it’s been Israel’s land since Abraham…they just came “home” in response to the “Never Again” movement.
Israel is not the resultant of terrorism but of Elohim’s sovereign choice concerning His eschatological plan for Time and Eternity. Elohim’s covenant with Abraham concerning the Land of Israel was unconditional, meaning that the Land’s presence and its purposes are not contingent upon Israel’s faithfulness but upon Elohim’s sovereignty and His foreordained decision to save a “remnant” of Israel’s children through the Great Tribulation and initiate His Millennial Kingdom there where Messiah Yeshua will reign for 1000-years prior to the Judgement of Satan and the rebellious of humanity in Hell – an all consuming fire that will purify this Earth in preparation for the New Earth and a New Heaven as foundational to the New Jerusalem (Revelation 20-22).
That Jewish remnant that endures through the Tribulation era, those proselytized by the 144,000 sanctified Jewish witnesses from the 12-Tribes (Rev 7), will serve Yeshua in the Millennial Kingdom and they will believe in Yeshua and they will be the “redeemed” remnant spoken of by Isaiah, reiterated by Paul (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27).
The current war between Israel’s IDF and HAMAS, Iran’s Islamic proxies, Yemen’s Houthis, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, is nothing more than a physical manifestation of the Kingdom War between Elohim v. Satan having manifest within the Realm of Time. Israel remains Elohim’s representatives in the Land given Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Islam is Satan’s representative through Allah via Muhammad via Ishmael via Hagar.
