Those enslaved by Religion are aghast at the concept of Salvation by grace through faith, why?

Those trapped in religion – Torah – Moses – Judaism – Messianic Judaism – Hebrew Roots fanaticism – Legalism, are aghast at the idea of pure grace (unmerited favor) through faith, alone, as the KEY to Elohim’s heart and eternal life via the forgiveness of sin…let me explain and please, hear me out?

A brief history,

The Gospel of Grace, the New Covenant of Peace, as introduced through Messiah was ordained as a divine battle strategy by Elohim “to destroy the works of the Devil” via Messiah’s blood atonement provided at Golgotha outside the gates of the Old City some 2000-years ago and this Gospel was foreordained as the Father’s divine will “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10).

The Adamic-Noahic generations were ordained as progenitors of the Messiah; unfortunately, these generations defiled themselves with unconscionable compromise, perversion, with the demonic – paganism and nullified their divine ordination and so great was their corruption of the human genome that Elohim destroyed all but eight via water (Genesis 6:5).

Elohim’s 2nd-Attempt,

Elohim began anew with Noah and Noah’s family and through Noah’s son, Shem, Elohim brought forth the Patriarchy of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel) and through Jacob’s son, Judah, Elohim introduced His Messiah to the World. Please understand that Torah; specifically, details concerning Sinai, Moses, Law, Ordinances, blood sacrifices, Sabbaths, these things were simply a temporary roadmap leading to the Messiah and the Gospel, Torah was NEVER intended to be the destination (Galatians 3:24).

Why Sinai?

Sinai and Moses and Ordinances and Sabbaths were given specifically to Israel’s children in a Covenant of Law for sanctification (a setting apart from paganism) and eschatological purposes. Never were these aspects of Torah to be considered relevant for the Gentile lest said Gentile was seeking refuge in the protective confines of Israel’s theocracy.

Also, understand the reasoning for Elohim’s “giving of the Sinai Law” to Israel as Elohim’s motive relevant to Sinai was a response to His dreadful concerns over a repeat of the failures of the Adamic and Noahic generations and their compromise with the demonic i.e., paganism that thwarted their ordination as progenitors of Messiah; therefore, Sinai’s motives were to detail Israel’s proper protocol with Elohim (1-4) and Israel’s proper protocol sociologically between the Tribes (5-10); these edicts were to be obeyed meticulously as Israel’s children were commanded to be holy as Elohim is Holy (Leviticus 21:8; Exodus 19:6; 1 Peter 1:16); in fact, Israel’s covenant relationship with Elohim was completely based upon National obedience (Deuteronomy 28). This strict obedience through adherence to codified laws was intended to thwart Israel’s compromise with the pagan tribes surrounding them, defiled, sexually perverse, murderous, infanticide, that relentlessly sought Israel’s compromise with the pagan gods of Baal and Molech.

Sinai (codification) v. Spiritual Law,

Sinai and Moses’ related ordinances were but a MERE FRACTION of the comprehensive Spiritual Law that is written upon the human heart, the human genome by Elohim (Romans 2:14-15); in fact, the Spiritual Law has been relevant as an arbiter of free will subsequent the creation of the Angels. Sinai and Moses’ edicts, laws, ordinances, were NOT sufficient to engender righteousness with Elohim (Romans 3:20) but were simply a fragmented codification of the divine, infinitely superior, Spiritual Law that governed the conduct of and condemned the Adamic and Noahic generations of defilement.

Law in the New Covenant,

Also note that the Spiritual Law written upon the human heart by our Creator (Romans 2:14-15) is the very same Law that is applicable in the New Covenant promises (Jeremiah 31; Ezekiel 36; Hebrews 10) as the Spiritual Law written upon the human heart was foreordained to be arbitrated by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 36:27; Ephesians 1:13-14; John 14:6) who mates the redeemed conscience of the faithful in Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17) with the enlivened Spiritual Law as written upon the heart; this catalyst as employed by the indwelling Spirit forms the New Man in Messiah and consequently produces divine “fruit” through the redeemed in Jesus, fruit that fulfills ALL LAW and glorifies the Father (Galatians 5:16-23; John 15:8).

Christians are therefore NOT under Torah-Sinai-Moses (Romans 6:14) but Christians are under the “Law of the Spirit of Life” (Romans 8:2; Romans 7:6); in fact, a Christian who knows their position and responsibility toward the Father in the New Covenant does not go about their day consciously thinking about obedience to Torah, Sinai, Moses, Days, Diets, Clothing-Fabrics, Sabbaths, but they are intently tuned to the Spirit’s leadership in every aspect of their daily life and with the Spirit as one’s Teacher and Arbitrator, THERE IS PEACE with the Father via a good conscience (Romans 5:1).

The New Covenant is Unique,

The New Covenant is NEW, it is NOT a reiteration of the Old Covenant’s Law System (New wine in new wine skins); the New Covenant is NOT about keeping Sinai or Moses or Days or Ordinances or Diets but the New Covenant ordained “before Time began” via the Gospel (2 Timothy 1:8-10) is about divine PEACE with the Father through faith in the Son, Jesus Christ, who provided humanity blood atonement that is acceptable by the Father which results in the New Covenant promise of absolution, forgiveness, for our sin by divine grace through faith in Jesus (Hebrews 8:12).

Enslavement to Law, Judaism, Hebrew Roots, Religion,

You are free to enslave yourself to religious works and days and diets and ordinances and Torah and Judaism and Messianic Judaism and Hebrew Roots fanaticism as long as you understand that your only Path to life and forgiveness of sin and Covenant relationship with Elohim is by faith in Jesus our Messiah trusting fully in Him as completely sufficient to redeem you and present you acceptable to the Father via the gifting, the imputation, of HIS righteousness over your life earned for us via Messiah’s blood atonement at Golgotha (John 14:6; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus and Commandments,

Jesus said, “If you love me you will keep my Commandments” (John 14:15-31) and Jesus’ Commandments are that we love Elohim above all else and that we love our neighbor as our self (Matthew 22:36-40) and this is why the Holy Spirit places “love” at the very top of His list of divine “fruit” that is manifest through the daily life of the redeemed in Jesus (Galatians 5:22-23); therefore, if one truly desires to honor Jesus’ commands, they must first be “born again” by faith in Jesus as Messiah (John 3) and subsequently “walk by the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16) allowing the Spirit to produce fruit through them that fulfills ALL LAW.

The “law of sin and death” i.e., Torah-Sinai (Romans 8:2) could NEVER accomplish what the Spirit accomplishes in the life of the redeemed in Jesus as the “law of sin and death” was weakened by the Adamic sin-nature (Romans 5:12) and there was no indwelling Holy Spirit within the individual during the Law Covenant to arbitrate that sin-nature ingrained in the human genome.

In closing,

Therefore, if you desire intimate relationship with the Father, you must first “believe” in the Son, Jesus, your Messiah who died for you (John 3); then, receive the promised indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) and walk by the Spirit in daily Christian sanctification as He prepares you for service in the New Jerusalem (Galatians 5:16). There is no other Way (John 14:6)!

If Christians are not obligated to Sinai – is murder OK in the New Covenant?

If Christians are not obligated to Sinai-the Law Covenant (Romans 6:14; 2 Corinthians 3), is it permissible to murder in the New Covenant?

Discussion,

No…murder has been prohibited from Day-6 of Creation forward concerning humanity; this, via the spiritual law written upon the heart by Elohim (Romans 2:14-15; 8:2) as humanity is created in the spiritual image of Elohim possessing certain divine communicable attributes of Elohim; this, for His eschatological purposes going forward (Genesis 1:26-28). The spiritual law written upon the heart has been an arbiter of free will subsequent the creation of the angels and Jesus reiterated murder as prohibited conduct in His New Covenant ministry and Jesus added mens rea (the thought life) as enhanced culpability (Matthew 5:21-22).

Sinai is nothing but a fragmented reiteration of the comprehensive spiritual law and Sinai was given specifically to Israel’s children for sanctification and eschatological purposes going forward; primarily, to thwart Israel’s compromise with Baal and Molech which would have stymied Israel’s ordination as progenitors of the Messiah, the Gospel, the Great Commission; Sinai was Elohim’s attempt to prevent a repeat of the failures of the Adamic/Noahic generations who rejected their divine ordination via a compromise with the demonic (Genesis 6:5).

Sinai, Torah, Moses, are elements of a bygone covenant that Israel broke, rejected, failed (Hebrews 8:7).

Christians are NOT under the old Law Covenant (Romans 6:14) but they live by the Spirit and the Spirit produces divine fruit through them via daily sanctification; divine fruit that fulfills all law as the Father is glorified by that fruit (Galatians 5:16-23; John 15:9). Different covenants, vastly different implementation of law and obedience. It’s past time that Christians understand their place in the New Covenant and STOP compromising their faith by an alliance with the old (2 Corinthians 3:6).

Jesus preached Commandment keeping; Paul preached obedience to the Holy Spirit. Why the confusion; why the theological disconnect?

Jesus preached obedience to Commandments; Paul preached obedience to the Holy Spirit. Why the confusion; why the disconnect?

Jesus said,

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-19 (ESV)

Paul, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said,

“16 yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.” Galatians 2:16 (ESV)

“20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.” Romans 3:20-22 (ESV)

Discussion – Explanation,

First of all, Jesus, who is Elohim (Genesis 1:1) in flesh via the hypostatic union, kept the righteous mandates of Torah Law for us as He is the only One qualified to keep the Law as Jesus was absent the Adamic sin-nature (Romans 5:12) through the virgin birth (Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus’ fulfillment of Torah Law was essential for our redemption from sin as His sinless perfection was mandated in order that He be our “Spotless Lamb” who takes away the sins of the World via blood atonement (1 Peter 1:18-19; John 1:29-32; 1 John 2:1-2); this, as per the mandates of Leviticus 17:11.

Second,

Jesus came to a people group, Jacob’s children specifically, who were under the Law (Matthew 15:24) as Jesus was under the Law (Galatians 4:4) and Sinai was their ICON concerning relationship with the Father via a conditional Covenant (Deuteronomy 28) but things were changing in accordance with the Father’s eschatological plan and Jesus preached Grace-Faith-Intimacy and Jesus promised the Spirit (John 14:16) as per New Covenant promise (Jeremiah 31; Ezekiel 36) to implement these divine elements of eternal life which would be actuated through blood atonement (Hebrews 10) and Jesus ordained His minister of the Gospel, Saul of Tarsus AKA Paul the Apostle (Galatians 1:11; Acts 9:15-16), to articulate the particulars of this New Covenant’s Gospel established in Messiah’s blood (Matthew 26:28); therefore, those born again by faith in Jesus as Messiah, possessing the indwelling Holy Spirit by Covenant promise (Ephesians 1:13-14: Ezekiel 36:27), are NOT under the Law – Sinai – Moses – Torah (Romans 6:14); that is, their New Covenant relationship with the Father is not predicated upon law-keeping but upon faith (Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:21).

Those in the New Covenant by faith in Messiah have been granted “grace” through “faith” and the indwelling Holy Spirit is their Arbiter of a Law written upon the human heart as per New Covenant promise (Jeremiah 31; Ezekiel 36; Hebrews 8:10) and this Spiritual Law (Romans 8:2; Romans 2:14-15) is comprehensive and vastly, eternally, superior to Sinai – Moses – Torah as the Spiritual Law addresses every moral decision encountered by the redeemed in Jesus, daily, and the Spiritual Law is NOT subject to obfuscation, rationalization, interpretation, by the Adamic sin-nature but the Spiritual Law is methodically applied in the life of the redeemed in Jesus through a redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17 “the new creation”) via the Holy Spirit’s anointing (Galatians 5:16; 1 John 2:27) and this divine anointing is realized through the production of divine “fruit” (Galatians 5:22-23) against which there is NO LAW as the “fruit of the Spirit” fulfills all righteous mandates of all moral Law (Galatians 5:22-23); therefore, there is a stark, eternal, differentiation between the application of law in the Covenant of Law AKA “the Law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2) compared to the application of the “Law of the Spirit of Life” (Romans 8:2) in the New Covenant of Grace; a New Covenant Spiritual Law that is made relevant, applicable, through faith in Messiah Jesus and the Arbiter of the New Covenant Law, the indwelling Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16; Romans 7:6).

If you worship at Sinai, you will die in Hell in your sin (Galatians 2:16); If you worship at Golgotha, you will live eternally by grace through faith in Jesus as Messiah via New Covenant promise (John 3; 2 Corinthians 3).

Hebrew Roots – Judaism – Islam – Religion…a Path to death in Hell, here is why…

Hebrew Roots – Judaism – SDA – Islam – Catholicism i.e. “religion” are works cults that deceive the soul into Hell,

Sabbaths, days, diets, are part of a bygone covenant, they have ZERO relevance in the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:7; 2 Corinthians 3). The New Covenant is not comprised of things “to do” but in Whom we believe by faith (John 3; Romans 3:1; Hebrews 11:6). The New Covenant is a Covenant of intimate relationship established by faith in Messiah Jesus and a daily walk in sanctification via the indwelling Holy Spirit where there is peace with the Father, eternally (John 3; Galatians 5; Romans 5:1).

If you worship at Sinai you will perish in your sin; If you worship at Golgotha, you will live, eternally.

The Sinai Decalogue is beautiful though it’s simply a fragmented, segmented, portion of Elohim’s eternal Spiritual Law written upon the heart; Sinai portrays via codification Elohim’s righteousness and His desires for Israel’s sanctification and holiness as Jacob’s children are a people group through whom Elohim endeavored to bring forth His Messiah via Judah and the Gospel ordained “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10); this, solely for eschatological purposes concerning Messiah’s primary purpose of “destroying the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b). Sinai is not to be worshiped nor is Sinai the path to eternal life with Elohim but Sinai is an eschatological roadmap relevant to sanctification for Israel pointing them to their need for Messiah by faith (Galatians 3:24).

All Law is summarized by the two-greatest Commandments (Matthew 22:36-40); Jesus articulated the greatest Commandments to those under the Law Covenant as Jesus came to those under Law to proselytize them in the Gospel of Grace via a New Covenant (Matthew 15:24; Galatians 4:4). A Gospel of Grace that was expounded upon by Messiah’s chosen Minister of the Gospel, Saul of Tarsus AKA Paul the Apostle (Galatians 1:11-17).

Fulfilling the Law in the New Covenant,

In the New Covenant of Grace, the “fruit of the Spirit” is the fulfillment of all Law, not letters or days or diets (Galatians 5:22-23). In the New Covenant, Christians serve through a redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) that is arbitrated by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:16) via a Spiritual Law written upon the heart (Romans 2:14-15; Jeremiah 31; Ezekiel 36) and divine fruit is produced by the Spirit through the faithful in Jesus (Galatians 5:22-23); therefore, Christians don’t worship Sinai or Moses as their purposes have passed (2 Corinthians 3; Hebrews 8:7).

Conclusion,

The Covenant of Law was given solely to Jacob’s children and those seeking refuge in that theocracy and it is an incomplete Covenant as it only defines one’s sin and culpability void atonement (Romans 3:20; Hebrews 8:7; Galatians 2:16)). If you worship exclusively at Sinai, you will die in your sin (Romans 3:20; Galatians 2:16); If you worship at Golgotha by faith, you will live (John 14:6).

Commingling Law – Grace – Faith – Obedience.

Commingling Law – Grace – Faith. Which Covenant makes this possible concerning “obedience” that honors Elohim?

Discussion,

What people don’t understand is the differentiation in application of law and the form of law that exists between the Law Covenant and the Covenant of Grace.

Sinai – Moses: Wholly insufficient as instruments of righteousness,

Sinai – Moses are codified fragments of the eternal Spiritual Law and are therefore wholly insufficient as instruments of righteousness with Elohim. Sinai – Moses were given Israel for sanctification and eschatological purposes concerning Elohim’s efforts to thwart Israel’s compromise with Baal and Molech so that Messiah, the Gospel, the Great Commission, would manifest in Time with the sole intent of “destroying the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b; Genesis 3:15) via the Gospel, a battle strategy ordained “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10) and the “Great Commission” as the vessel through which Satan’s defeat and eternal life by grace through faith in the Messiah would be proclaimed to all the Earth in preparation for the Tribulation, the Millennial Kingdom, the Judgment, the destruction of the Earth by fire, the placement and realization of the New Jerusalem.

Sinai and Moses – temporary for eschatological purposes,

Sinai and Moses are a fragmented codification of the eternal Spiritual Law and they were never intended to be elements of Salvation or a Key-Path to eternal covenant with Elohim as these codified laws pointed Israel’s children to their need for a Messiah by faith (Galatians 3:24); Sinai and Moses demanded perfection (James 2:10) from a sin-nature (Romans 5:12) that could never comply; therefore Sinai and Moses only defined culpability (Romans 3:20) void atonement (Galatians 2:16); therefore, Sinai and Moses only curse the one who seeks righteousness (a right standing) with the Father through them apart from or as a supplement to faith, alone (Galatians 3:10).

The New Covenant Law,

Elohim, via New Covenant promise (Ezekiel 36; Hebrews 8; Jeremiah 31), employs the eternal Spiritual Law (Romans 2:14-15; Romans 8:2) written upon the heart of humanity on Day-6 and through the Gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14), Elohim enlivens, makes applicable, that Spiritual Law in the heart of the redeemed in Jesus by faith (John 3). It is through the redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) that the Holy Spirit produces fruits of righteousness (Galatians 5) and thereby guides the faithful in Jesus to fulfill all Law as there is NO LAW against the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-24); after all, Jesus did say “You will know them by their fruit” (Matthew 7:15-20).

Conclusion of the matter,

Therefore, Sinai – Moses have very little relevance in the New Covenant concerning Law and obedience to same. Christians are not obligated to Sinai, Moses, Days, Diets (Romans 6:14; Colossians 2:16). If one desires an applicable understanding concerning the commingling of Law and Grace and Faith, they must look to the work of Jesus at Golgotha, Messiah’s shed blood as atonement for sin and His imputed – gifted righteousness only available by faith in Jesus as Messiah (2 Corinthians 5:21).
