Honoring the commands of Jesus is only possible by those who have trusted in Him as Messiah through faith (John 3), received the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14), and walk daily in the anointing of the Spirit via Christian sanctification (Galatians 5:16-23) producing divine “fruit” that pleases the Father and proves one to be a disciple of Jesus (John 15:8). Note that John 15:8 prefaces John 15:10.
