Question on FB: “What does the Bible say about predestination v. free will?”

God desires that all men and women be saved and therefore predestines us to be conformed to His image in righteousness by faith in Jesus as Lord (1 Timothy 2:4; Romans 8:29); this, as the Gospel was ordained “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 1:9-10); unfortunately, only a “few” will humble them self before the Lord and trust in Jesus Christ for the mediation of sin (Matthew 7:13-14) and thereby enter into an everlasting covenant with the Father through the Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14).

From the creation of the angels forward and with the creation of mankind, free will has been central to God’s will and His Plan for both the angelic and human creation. God is defined as LOVE (1 John 4:7-8) and God’s greatest desire in both Eternity and in Time is “relationship” with both His angelic and human creation; therefore, in order for love and relationship to manifest with authenticity, purity, honesty, integrity, wholesomeness, reciprocating fulfillment, the parties involved in that relationship of love must possess the volition, the free will, to “choose” to love, to engage in relationship; otherwise, love and relationship are impotent and unfulfilling. Authentic love and relationship cannot be predestined or coerced nor can love exist in fear.If God created some for life and some for death in Hell; if God predestined some to love Him and others to hate Him with the certainty of judgement and death in Hell, where is LOVE? Where is equity? Where is due process? Where is love? Where is morality?

I ask you, what is the purpose of God’s moral law? Is the law of God not an arbiter of free will? Are we not free moral agents possessing the ability to “choose” right and wrong; love and hate; good and evil? Why then the LAW if free will is nonexistent and we’re nothing more than pre-programmed robots?

Consider this,

Our entire creation in Time is the resultant of a war, a coup, initiated by a rebellious cherub angel practicing free will in the Kingdom of God and our Earth was created specifically as a battle ground for this war between good and evil allowing God to remove the destructive sin of the rebellious angel and those who followed him in the coup and place that evil upon the Earth to be dealt with partially constrained by Time and physics; this, as nothing impure is permitted to exist in the Kingdom of God (Revelation 21:27). God is currently demonstrating to the faithful angelic creation that did not follow the rebellious angels the horrors of disobedience, the suffering caused by sin, the death that naturally follows violations of God’s moral laws; so then, I ask you this…If God predestines some to life and some to death in Hell, why not simply destroy the rebellious angel and be done with it…why does God tolerate a defiled, rebellious, narcissistic, human creation that has caused Him nothing but consternation, pain and sorrow?

If God predestined angels to love Him and predestines men and women to obey and disobey, why is God striving so diligently to maintain volitional love with His angelic creation as opposed to simply destroying the rebellious angels and circumvent the suffering on Earth? Why the suffering and death of Jesus Christ for our sin?

A sincere but sincerely lost and deceived child of Jacob denies Messiah’s deity because Jesus prays to the Father.

Jesus prays to God the Father because the Son and the Spirit commune with the Father and have delineated authority to the Father and His will in all things. Jesus left the Spiritual Realm (John 18:36) and entered the Realm of Time to do the Father’s will, not his own (John 6:38); specifically, Jesus entered Time “to destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b).

It is the Father that Satan rebelled against, specifically (Ezekiel 28:11-19); it is the Father who is responsible via federal headship for the Kingdom and order-peace-righteousness in that Kingdom. This spiritual war we’re infused into as humans constrained by Time and physics (Ephesians 6) is between the Father and His former chief cherub angel we’ve come to know as Satan (Luke 10:18); the Father is the Strategist and the “Commander-and-Chief,” the Son is the Warrior (John 3:35); the Spirit is Logistics…these three are One-God.

Those who trust in the Father through Jesus as Lord are the Father’s servants, warriors, and our servitude to our God, Father-Son-Spirit, will transcend Time and Eternity in the New Jerusalem.

“And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.” Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NASB)

God’s moral law and His views concerning same have not and will never change. God provided the moral law to His Angels and then to human kind through the conscience (Romans 2:15). God ordained the moral law for human kind…

1) …as a bulwark against unrestrained narcissism which would inevitably lead to the extinction of the species.

2) …so that God’s judgment for sin could manifest with equity and due process. Note that the moral law was extant throughout the Adamic and Noahic generations as God judged the World in accordance with the moral law and destroyed same by water save eight.

3) …as an arbiter of free will. It is the moral law and the conscience that are the arbiter of free will.

God’s moral law has been written upon the heart of mankind from Adam forward and that law is arbitrated by the conscience. The Covenant of Law simply codified the eternal moral law in stone and scratched it upon parchment via Moses but the only changes were an addition of a civil-ceremonial-dietary law that was and is ONLY applicable to Jacob’s children, Judaism, those under the Law Covenant.

In the New Covenant, those who are born again by the Holy Spirit via faith in Jesus as Lord, they receive the Commandments of Jesus infused within their heart and mind by the Holy Spirit (John 14:26) and the Spirit walks them in obedience to those Commandments of Jesus via the process of sanctification. Nothing has truly changed other than Messiah has extrapolated the moral law, the Covenant of Law, and placed it within the heart and mind of the faithful in Him and increased culpability by adding mens rea or the thought life as an element to committing sin; that is, no longer must one actually physically commit the sin to be culpable before God but in the New Covenant the mere thought of the sin is culpability (Matthew 5:27-28).

I believe COVID is the back-up plan discussed in 2016 by the FBI’s former Strzok, Page, Comey, the DNC, the CNN – Communist News Network…I believe COVID was a well organized strategy-ruse to unseat President Trump via a coup.

I believe the “COVID vaccine” is experimental gene therapy with the potential to alter the DNA and immune system…and not truly a vaccine but given that “label” to provide liability protections for “big pharma” who is making billions upon billions of dollars off of naive and sheepish Americans who trust America’s communist government that cares absolutely NOTHING for their health and welfare but for power, influence, MONEY, status, CONTROL, only.

I believe the “death totals” from COVID are fictitious…skewed…as hospitals are paid to treat COVID and doctors, nurses, are as easily bought and paid for as politicians as the medical community today worships the dollar while the patient is simply a means to an end.

I believe COVID is a political-elitist-globalist-communist/Marxist agenda with the goal of decimating the middle class financially and destroying middle class business, personal property rights and destroying America’s overall economy in accordance with a globalist – one-world ideology with American society having been divided into the elitist-narcissist formerly labeled the bourgeoisie and a subservient – dependant class as the proletarians. Question of FB: “If Jesus is God, how could the Jews kill God?”

Jesus’ death was foreordained through the Gospel “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 1:9-10). The Gospel is God’s Plan of dealing with Satan, Evil, and the “Son of God entered Time to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b). Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin (Hebrews 9:22; Hebrews 10; Leviticus 17:11) and Jesus is the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the World (Revelation 13:8; 1 Peter 1:19) for the purpose of destroying sin’s condemnation in our lives and defeating Satan’s stronghold over death-Hell-the grave.

Jesus is God having manifest in flesh within the Realm of Time (John 1:14; Colossians 2; Hebrews 1; Philippians 2) for the purpose of defeating Satan (Genesis 3:15) and Jesus, in His perfection by keeping the Law without sin (Matthew 5:17), shed His innocent blood on the Cross for our atonement thereby providing us righteousness (a right standing) with the Father by faith (2 Corinthians 5:21). No man could accomplish this, only God in flesh (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Galatians 4:4).

The Jews via the Roman authorities did not murder God, they murdered the body of flesh God used to define and display Himself to humanity and the body God used to provide the blood sacrifice for the atonement of our sin-debt before the Father (Hebrews 10). God does not die, He is from everlasting to everlasting (Psalm 90:2).

Is the Trinity a Christian creation?

The Trinity of God is not a creation of Christianity…its foundation is in the Hebrew Scriptures, Jesus and the New Covenant epistles simply elaborate on this reality with new revelation; revelation that is undeniable for the one seeking Truth. The Holy Spirit introduces the Trinity first in Genesis 1:1 with the plural noun, Elohim, with a singular verb. The Holy Spirit introduces Himself in Genesis 1:2 actively working in the Creation narrative. The Trinity identified as “Us” and “Our” is seen working in collaboration as they, Father-Son-Spirit, create the complex human genome in Genesis 1:26-28. The Son, Jesus Christ, born of the seed of the (virgin) woman to circumvent the man’s (Adam’s) sin nature (Romans 5:12) is first introduced in Genesis 3:15 who will enter the Realm of Time in flesh and do battle with Satan and “destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b) at Golgotha, some 4000-years later.

The battle strategy used by Jesus to defeat Satan is first pictured as the Gospel in Genesis 3:21 with the shedding of innocent blood to produce a “robe of imputed righteousness” (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 10) to cover the sin of Adam and Eve while Elohim rejects the works of Adam to cover his own sin as seen in the fig leaves used to cover Adam’s sin-nakedness-shame. So then, in the first-three Chapters of the Genesis, The Beginning, the Trinity of God is seen as essential to Elohim’s Plan in Time and Eternity and to deny this is to call the Holy Spirit a liar…a very dangerous thing to do concerning your eternal destiny.

The Trinity of God is three-distinct personalities/persons working in the Godhead within the Realm of Time to accomplish Divine will setting all things in order, destroying evil and its progenitor and bring peace to the Kingdom of God with obedience to God’s Moral Law as the arbiter of free will.

Legalism – obfuscation – “faith-only” doctrine?

It is wearisome at times to rebut the legalist and their endless drivel concerning Law-the Sabbath-Obedience while suggesting that Christianity is lawlessness AKA a “faith-only” doctrine.

There is no faith only doctrine, that’s obfuscation, a lack of knowledge and deceit by legalists who are absent faith. Faith enjoins one to God the Father by trusting in Jesus as Lord; in fact, without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6);

Obedience to God’s will, the Commandments of Jesus written upon our heart, the moral law, is the natural outpouring or the natural resultant of faith having come to fruition through covenant relationship with God the Father and receiving the Holy Spirit subsequent to believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Obedience through Sanctification in the Spirit FOLLOWING faith is what substantiates and validates one’s faith as TRUE and authentic saving faith; Jesus said, you will know them by their fruit-works-behavior (Matthew 7:15-20).

Christianity is NOT lawlessness; in fact, Christianity is observance to a law (Law of the Spirit written on our heart) that is more stringent than the Covenant of Law as Jesus infused mens rea (the thought life) as culpability (Matthew 5:27-28).

Christianity is grace (unmerited favor unattainable through works of the Law) through faith (trusting-believing in Jesus as Lord) and “obedience through sanctification” (that follows establishment of covenant relationship by faith) as we don’t serve God as slaves to a Law of condemnation but serve God in obedience because we love Him and honor Him through the Spirit. Law and obedience can never save – Law and obedience cannot supplant faith but obedience naturally follows true faith and substantiates that faith. 

Legalism is deception and legalism is certainly the offspring of Satan himself and Satan certainly has his way within these forums through his representatives.

Speaking in Tongues in Acts-Corinthians was a Spiritual Gift given to the early Church as a sign to unbelieving Jews of God’s work in establishing the New Covenant. These tongues which were actually understandable, intelligible, languages-dialects also assisted in spreading the Gospel to the known world…people who had never studied languages received the Gift of the Spirit to speak and/or understand languages they previously did not speak or understand.

With the publication of the first Canon of Scripture (Muratorian Canon – Circa 180AD) and circulation of the Gospels and epistles among the Churches, tongues were no longer needed and they ceased … but … at the pagan Temple at Delphi near Corinth, there was a pagan tradition where a pagan priestess would set atop a throne in the temple, below the throne was a burning substance that when inhaled became an intoxicant and the priestess would exhort awaiting parishioners with prophecy and often times her language was slurred and essentially gibberish due to her intoxication so that the waiting patrons left the temple more confused than when they entered seeking direction and guidance.

This pagan practice of a “priestess” chanting in gibberish prophecy carried-over into the Church at Corinth and provided much trouble for Paul and much confusion for the parishioners…this is most likely why Paul demanded that the women in the Corinthian Church remain silent (1 Corinthians 14:34).

Fast-forward to today…we now see “Churches” of Charismata like Pentecostalism and Church of God and non-Denominational…”full Gospel” Churches proclaiming the “Gift” of tongues which is actually nothing more than pagan gibberish and nonsense taught by those who simply cannot trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, alone, but rely on signs and wonders and gifts to prove salvation; in fact, some Pentecostal Churches insist that unless a man or woman or child speaks in a tongue, they cannot be saved as tongues is THE sign of the Holy Spirit’s presence in one’s life. I left a teaching ministry over this issue as I was ordered to teach others to speak in a tongue…I rejected the paganism. This practice of tongues is darkness in origin, this is works, this is heresy…this is apostasy and places Pentecostal parishioners under unnecessary burdens, doubts, fears, and coerces them to speak in tongues in order to prove their faithfulness to God…but these parishioners know they’re speaking gibberish and nonsense but legalism mandates that they comply. This is NOT of God…this is of the Devil.

If speaking in tongues is extant today, why must we methodically and with much effort train our missionaries in other languages before sending them abroad to proselytize the World with the Gospel? Tongues, the ecstatic utterance of gibberish in today’s Churches of Charismata, is man’s attempt to prove his spiritual superiority by signs and wonders absent the simplicity of faith, alone.

Two interesting theological questions posted on FB:

1) If Jesus came to die for man’s sins, why didn’t he stay dead after death?

2) Why didn’t God kill satan, the cause of man’s problems, instead of killing his innocent son?

1) Jesus only died in body, not in Spirit and Jesus’ death atoned for mankind’s sin but His resurrection was as the “first fruits” of those who would die and be resurrected in like manner (1 Corinthians 15:20; Philippians 3:21). Jesus set the standard, paved the path for our resurrection, provided the example for us concerning the resurrection that is to come (John 5:29).

2) Satan is an angel, angels do not die (Luke 20:36) and God did not destroy Satan for his sin and rebellion because to do so would have negatively affected God’s relationship with the remaining two-thirds angels that did NOT follow Satan in the rebellion. Had God simply destroyed Satan, the remaining two-thirds would no longer love God via free will but out of fear and view God as arbitrary and wicked – a God who compels love as opposed to displaying love and receiving same; also, true love and relationship cannot exist in fear; in fact, God the Father commissioned the Son, Jesus Christ, to create the Heavens and the Earth as a repository for Satan apart from the Kingdom where nothing impure is permitted to exist (Rev 21:27) and God the Father is dealing with Satan here, partially constrained by Time and physics, as the Son of God, Jesus Christ, entered Time specifically to “destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b).

God will maintain volitional love with the faithful angelic creation as God has defeated the evil and objectives of Satan through God’s own selfless love via the Gospel as demonstrated at the Cross and first pictured in Genesis 3:21. Satan’s objectives were defeated by Jesus at Golgotha and Satan, the fallen angels, the False Prophet, the Beast, will receive eternal torment in Hell subsequent to the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ and the faithful angelic creation, having witnessed the horrors of Satan’s deception upon the Earth for 6000+ years, will fully concur with God that their former boss, an anointed cherub angel in direct service of God at the time of the rebellion, does deserve punishment in Hell, forever (Revelation 20:10).

The Saint Augustine, PD; Mayor Upchurch; State Police Commissioner Swearingen; Governor DeSantis, should all be ashamed and embarrassed for allowing the narcissistic thugs of the illegally LOUD Motorcycle – Auto – Truck Cult[ure] to audibly abuse and bully the citizens of Florida. I am currently sitting in an RV parked next to SH-1 in St. Augustine, Fl, a Walmart parking lot, and of the many thousands of miles I’ve travelled across the United States…of the many municipalities, counties, States, I have visited, from Texas to Washington, to Florida and all of those in between…Florida is the ABSOLUTE worst State for LOUD motor vehicle abuse and thuggery.
