Concerning the Sabbath and Israel; Concerning the Sabbath and the New Covenant…

The Sabbath, first given Israel’s children in Exodus 16, foreshadowed Messiah (Colossians 2:16) and when the fulfillment of the Sabbath entered Time through Judah’s Tribe, Israel’s children denied Him; Israel’s children mocked and blasphemed Him; Israel’s children scourged Him; Israel’s children murdered Him upon a Tree and demanded that His blood be upon them and their children (Matthew 27:25); therefore, Israel’s Sabbath was profaned by those to whom He came (Matthew 15:25); Israel profaned the Sabbath’s fulfillment in the Father’s presence.

If you love Jesus and honor Him by faith in Jesus as your Messiah, believing that Jesus died for you to pay your sin-debt, a debt you could never pay yourself, you are keeping the Sabbath and the Father is pleased and honored by your faith in His Son (John 6:29). You are doing well; therefore, “rest” in Jesus as your Lord (Romans 5:1; Matthew 11:28-30).

Did Law exist before Sinai?

Sinai’s Commandments were nothing new or novel. The Law of Conscience (Romans 2:14-15) i.e. the Natural Law, the Moral Law, existed from eternity past, initiated by Elohim in conjunction with the creation of the angels; this Natural Law was constructed, administered, by Elohim as an arbiter of free will, free will being essential for authentic love, intimacy and relationship with our Creator to exist with purity, authenticity, these being essential for an edifying reciprocal relationship.

That same Natural Law was infused within the human genome on Day-6 as human kind is created in the spiritual image of Elohim who imparted certain divine communicable attributes into humanity for His eschatological purposes (Genesis 1:26-28). Elohim, who is the perfection of law, holiness, righteousness, employed the Natural Law in righteous judgment of Satan’s sin of covetousness, defilement, that resulted in Satan’s extrication from the Kingdom and subsequently manifest in the creation of Time and matter, this Earth, as a repository for the Evil One apart from the Kingdom where nothing impure is permitted to exist (Revelation 21:27; Luke 10:18).

Why Sinai?

That same Natural Law judged the Adamic and Noahic generations of defilement, disobedience, a demonically deceived people worthy of death in judgment by water where all of humanity perished save eight; therefore, “law” existed long before Sinai, Sinai’s Commands having been given to the Hebrew Tribes specifically for Elohim’s eschatological purposes; a Law Covenant rooted and founded in Natural Law with additional specificity for Israel’s children as they were inundated by pagan tribes serving pagan gods relentlessly seeking Israel’s compromise.

Israel’s compromise with paganism would directly threaten Elohim’s eschatological plans concerning the defeat of Satan via the Gospel via the coming Messiah (1 John 3:8b) and stymie the restoration of order, holiness, righteousness, in His Kingdom….holiness, order, righteousness, that had been compromised by a rebellious cherub angel (Ezekiel 28:11+; Revelation 12) and those angels who followed him in the rebellion.

Law and the New Covenant,

If is the Natural Law of Conscience that is edified and magnified by the indwelling Holy Spirit in the New Covenant; that Natural Law working within the “new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17) in the life of the faithful in Jesus as the Holy Spirit employs the Natural Law written upon the heart of the redeemed and methodically walks them daily in sanctification via the conscience (Galatians 5:16; Romans 7:6)…not letters etched in stone or scratched upon parchment but a Law administered via the conscience and relevant long before Sinai.

Law and the New Jerusalem,

That same Natural Law will be extant in the New Jerusalem where free will exists by necessity and it is the Natural Law of Conscience that will never fade away.

“Christian Perfectionism” – a fallacy promulgated by the Devil and under girded by spiritual ignorance, hypocrisy, false teachers…

There are those who teach the fallacy that Christians become perfect in word, thought, deed, and therefore are no longer subject to sin and the ravages of same within the Realm of Time. This is a lie of the Devil.

“You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:48 (ESV)

“Christian Perfectionism” is a deceptive work of Satan and false teachers…don’t fall for it. The ONLY sinless perfection, noted by Messiah in Matthew 5:48, that one can attain in this life constrained by Time, is the perfection and righteousness of Jesus imputed – gifted into our life by faith in Jesus as our Messiah and receive the forgiveness of the Father by covenant promise (John 3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 8:12; Hebrews 10).

As a result of the sin-nature inherited from our earthly father, Adam, (Romans 5:12), Christians DO sin in word, thought and deed; difference being, the redeemed in Jesus are declared “not guilty” by the Father via covenant promise, a covenant founded upon “grace” (a gift of unmerited favor) through “faith” (trust-belief) in Messiah Jesus and 1 John 1:9 is provided us as a means to maintain “intimacy” with our Lord via a cleansed conscience.

Christians don’t repent and seek forgiveness of sin to maintain salvation as our salvation is secured and guaranteed by the blood of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit indwelling us (John 10:28-30; Ephesians 1:13-14), but Christians repent and ask forgiveness to restore and maintain personal INTIMACY with our Lord as that INTIMACY and RELATIONSHIP is the most precious entity provided by Jesus through His sacrifice for us at Golgotha. Christians ask forgiveness and apologize to our Heavenly Father as we would a dear friend that we have wronged in word or deed; a true friend does not alienate you for your moment of indiscretion but your apology engenders restoration of intimacy, communication, the joy of fellowship. We apologize to our Heavenly Father for OUR BENEFIT and the benefit of our conscience.

Our Heavenly Father knows our heart, knows our weaknesses, knows our love for Him and the veracity of same; therefore, it is that love and grace of God within us via the Holy Spirit that motivates us to pursue righteousness, sinless perfection, but as long as we’re encumbered by corrupted flesh under the curse of sin, we struggle yet the Holy Spirit faithfully intercedes for us minute-by-minute in sanctification via the conscience; therefore, we’re granted peace with our Father through our faith in His Son, forever (Romans 8:26; Romans 5:1). Walk in peace with God seeking excellence in the security of covenant (Romans 8:35).

It is written and promised by the Holy Spirit,

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written,

“For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8 (ESV)

Understanding Isaiah 65:17: “For behold, I create new heavens
and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered
or come into mind.”

Will ignorance of the previous 6000-years prevail in the New Jerusalem?

“I will remember their sins no more” (Jeremiah 31:34). That which “shall not be remembered” by Elohim is our sin, our failures, not the relevant lessons learned via experiential relevance concerning the horrors of sin and Satan’s dominion over evil.

We will remember the ravages of sin and its horror as the previous 6000-years of devastation authored by Satan will act as a bulwark against future rebellion in the Kingdom, for both the angelic and human creation, as free will remains extant by necessity. All that Elohim, this Earth and humanity have endured at the hands of Satan will not be in vain.

We will be forever reminded of sin’s horror and devastation as we personally witness the nail scarred hands and feet, the spear-pierced side, of our Messiah, Jesus Christ. These memories will not consume us, our tears will be wiped away by our Lord, as we will exist in peace with Elohim through our faith established in Messiah Jesus (Romans 5:1; Revelation 21:4) but our memories will glorify the One who created the unfathomable beauty of the New Jerusalem and made our presence there possible (1 Corinthians 2:9; John 3).

Our Creator’s selfless love demonstrated at Golgotha in response to the horrors of sin and disobedience will be remembered and glorified and honored through our loving obedience and worship of the One who suffered and died that we could live, eternally (Revelation 4:8-11). The redeemed will never forget.

In the beginning God…why?

Causation for our entire creation is founded-rooted solely in Elohim’s response to a rebellious cherub angel and those who followed that angel in the Great War manifest in the Kingdom…a war that Elohim elected to remove from the Kingdom and place upon a temporary Earth to be dealt with apart from the Kingdom, a spiritual war partially constrained by Time and physics, thereby minimizing further defilement of purity and holiness, Elohim’s Kingdom where nothing impure is permitted to exist (Revelation 12; Ezekiel 28:11+; Isaiah 14; Luke 10:18; Luke 8:44; Ephesians 6; Revelation 21:27; John 18:36).

This spiritual war having manifest in the Kingdom is why the first created spiritual character introduced in the creation narrative is Satan, the old Serpent that deceives the whole World (Revelation 12:9; John 8:44) and this is why war between the Serpent and the Son, a Son manifesting from the seed of the woman, is declared in Genesis 3:15 and why the Gospel, as a divine battle strategy, is first pictured in Genesis 3:21 (redemption through the shedding of innocent blood and a robe of imputed righteousness denying the works of man’s hands relevant to righteousness, a right standing, with Elohim) and this is why the Adamic and Noahic generations were judged and eradicated due to satanic possession-influence thwarting Elohim’s eschatological plan and this is why Elohim began anew with Noah and set-apart a people group we know as Israel and this is why Messiah manifest in Time through Judah; specifically, “to destroy the works of the devil” via a battle strategy known as “The Gospel,” a battle strategy that was ordained “before Time began” (1 John 3:8b; 2 Timothy 1:8-10).

Therefore, had Satan not rebelled and introduced sin into the Kingdom, there would be no reason for Elohim to have created a physical realm, suffered a potentially rebellious and defiled human genome (Genesis 6) and there would be no reason that Elohim would have manifest in flesh and suffered and died in the presence of the faithful angelic creation simply to restore order and holiness and peace and dignity to His Kingdom. One of mankind’s greatest errors is a failure to recognize our “reason for being” and the very temporary nature of our existence in Time and Elohim’s eschatological purposes for same.

Letter of the Law v. Spirit of the Law?

Those who live in Rabbinical obsession evidenced by touting the validity of Torah in the New Covenant cite the disparity of application relevant to the letter of the Law (adjudicatory elements codified/Holy Spirit’s intent) v. spirit of the Law (societal/Rabbinical consensus-interpretation-application).

For all intents and purposes, The letter of the Law/The spirit of the Law are no different in their application as they both condemn by defining the sin, rebelliousness, defilement, of humanity void recourse. No one is justified before our Holy God by the spirit of the law or the letter of the law (Romans 3:20); therefore, theologically speaking, no one is justified by vain attempts to keep either the letter or the spirit of the law but only by faith in the One who kept both the spirit and the letter of the law for us, Jesus Christ, who imputes HIS righteousness and justification over our lives by faith (John 3; 2 Corinthians 5:21); therefore, the letter of the law or the spirit of the law play no relevant role in the life of the redeemed in Jesus other than as a tutor to point us to our need for Messiah by faith (Galatians 3:24-27).

The mere presence of the spirit of law v. the letter of the law simply demonstrates the inefficiency of the law in that its veracity and adjudicatory intent is often negated by man’s propensity for obfuscation, rationalization, justification, in pursuit of narcissism; therefore, the sin-nature far too often makes impotent the spirit and letter of the law by means of obfuscation; hence, the infinite superiority of the indwelling Spirit working with the new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) forming the new man and the new woman in preparation for an eternity of service in the New Jerusalem via the daily process of sanctification via the conscience, not letters that kill, curse, condemn (2 Corinthians 3:6; Galatians 3:10; Romans 3:20).

The Apostle John’s emphasis on Commandment Keeping, what’s up with that? 1 John 5:3

If one desires to honor the Commandments, they must walk in the Spirit, daily, via the conscience via sanctification thereby producing the “fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16-23). Walking in the Spirit is only possible by first entering into covenant relationship with the Father by faith in the Son, Jesus Christ and receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit as Guarantor of that covenant (Ephesians 1:13-14).

The New Covenant has very little to do with Laws-ordinances-edicts of the Old Covenant e.g. the Torah, the Decalogue, and everything to do with the anointing of the Holy Spirit indwelling the faithful in Jesus and methodically walking them in the Father’s will as the Spirit intercedes in every minute decision life throws their way; this work of the Spirit being infinitely superior to chasing letters that kill and condemn via a sin-nature that could never please God or provide life through atonement (2 Corinthians 3:6).

You believe the Torah and Moses possess the words of LIFE when they simply provided a precursor to the Gospel of Messiah Jesus which proclaims LIFE by Grace through Faith not letters (John 3; 2 Corinthians 3:6). You represent a spiritual illness that cripples Judaism as a religion of works and futility, a religion that will result in an overwhelming number of Jacob’s children perishing in the “second death” in Hell due to unbelief in their Messiah, Yeshua; a spiritual and physical death resulting from a futile pursuit of self-righteousness through Law as opposed to grace through faith in Yeshua (Hebrews 8:7; Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27; Romans 10).

This same spiritual and physiological “second death” will manifest in the lives of far too many “Messianic” Jews and Israelite’s who profess a belief in Yeshua but depend upon their obedience to the Torah to justify them as opposed to faith in Yeshua as Messiah, alone (Galatians 3:1-3; Romans 3:20; Romans 10; Galatians 2:16).

In the Epistles of John and others, the Commandments are the subject of obedience as these were integral to a Covenant of Law provided specifically to Jacob’s children and sojourners with them, a Law Covenant that the audience to whom most of these Epistle were directed were intimately familiar but the substance and reality of obedience in the New Covenant is the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 36:27) working through the conscience which is not only an infinitely superior form of behavioral modification but a form of angelic and human behavioral control that existed before Time as an arbiter of free will (Romans 2:14-15)…the natural-moral law within us that has now, in the New Covenant, been bolstered by the Spirit’s indwelling presence (Ephesians 1:13-14) matted with, combined with, the “new creation” in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17); this spiritual catalyst produces a superior form of obedience, behavioral modification, to that of a failed Law Covenant that pursued letters which condemned Israel’s children, including all of humanity residing in a defiled World pursuing gratification of the flesh as opposed to obedience to the Father’s will; the Father’s will is this: “to believe in the One He has sent” into the World to provide mediation, atonement, for our sin (John 6:29).

Hebrew Roots, Rabbinical Judaism and other such work cults or religions stubbornly kick against the goads in Rabbinical self-endowed spiritual arrogance and stubbornness and spiritual death and physiological death in Hell subsequent Judgment are the assured resultant.

Why does our Heavenly Father, by covenant promise, infuse His Holy Spirit into the heart of the redeemed in Messiah Jesus? (Ezekiel 36:27; Ephesians 1:13-14; Jeremiah 31:31-34; John 14:16-17)

The Law that is infused into the heart of the redeemed in Jesus Christ by covenant promise is the Holy Spirit who indwells them as Guarantor of Covenant Relationship, forever (Ephesians 1:13-14). The Holy Spirit takes the will of the Father and anoints the redeemed with wisdom and discernment which is exercised through the conscience via the daily process of sanctification (Galatians 5:16; John 14:26; 1 John 2:27).

The indwelling Holy Spirit makes the Father’s will understandable, applicable, and the Spirit intercedes in every single moral decision made by the redeemed in Christ, everyday, every second of the day (Galatians 5:16)…something the written code could never do as the written code does not address every moral decision encountered daily and the written code is subject to rationalization, obfuscation, by the sin-nature (Romans 8:1-8).

The Spirit’s anointing in the redeemed (2 Corinthians 5:17) working through the conscience is an infinitely superior form of behavioral modification over the Old Covenant’s written code that demanded perfection from the sin-nature that simply could not comply in mandated perfection (Romans 8:1-6; James 2:10; Galatians 3:10).

It is the indwelling Holy Spirit and His work of sanctification in the redeemed that prepares the faithful in Jesus for eternal service in the coming New Jerusalem, something the written code could never accomplish.

Why does our Heavenly Father reject self-righteousness through attempts to keep the Law as a means of salvation? What has our Heavenly Father provided as an alternative?

First of all, God the Father warns us that from His vantage point of pure holiness and undefiled righteousness, our works of personal righteousness seeking God’s favor is likened to a “filthy garment,” putrid in smell and appearance (Isaiah 64:6). The Hebrew relevant to Isaiah 64:6 “iddim” (filthy), kat-ta-me (unclean), u-ke-be-ged (rags), actually denotes an unclean woman during menstruation; specifically, a bloody menstrual cloth…this defines the repulsiveness of a man or woman’s works of righteousness when performed in our flesh as opposed to the Holy Spirit’s guidance during the daily process of sanctification relevant to those redeemed by faith in Messiah Jesus (Galatians 5:16; Romans 7:6). Simply put, covenant relationship with our Holy God is NOT possible through human effort, period (Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:20; Ephesians 2:8-9).

Second, no one will be justified by the Law because the purpose of the Law is to arbitrate free will by defining our sin and convicting the conscience thereby promoting societal harmony and thwarting societal implosion/extinction via unrestrained narcissism (Romans 3:20). Law was and is given for the lawless, the undisciplined, the rebellious…law is not given for the righteous (1 Timothy 1:9).

Third, pursuing righteousness through Law-Keeping is not possible due to the sin-nature inherited from Adam (Romans 5:12; Romans 8:1-8) as the Law mandates absolute perfection (James 2:10) and all of humanity is cursed by the Law (Galatians 3:10; Deuteronomy 27:26) as all have sinned and fallen short of our Heavenly Father’s pure and righteous standard i.e. perfection (Romans 3:23; Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:10).

Fourth, the written code; the Law Covenant; Sinai’s Commandments; the 603 Mosaic Laws; the natural law of conscience (Romans 2:14-15), are simply insufficient in and of themselves to address every aspect of life where personal discernment and wisdom are called into play via a myriad of choices between good v. evil, right v. wrong, pleasing God v. sin. Law, the written code, is simply an insufficient entity to control behavior or define every nuance of daily discernment in our efforts to please God through obedience and Law is subjective, its elements open to interpretation and subject to obfuscation and rationalization by the sin-nature and man’s propensity for narcissism e.g. the pursuit of pleasing the flesh; therefore, our Heavenly Father, before Time began (2 Timothy 1:8-10), instituted the precepts of the Gospel via a future “New Covenant” where man’s relationship with God would be managed, controlled, methodically guided, by God the Holy Spirit who lives within, indwells, the faithful, the redeemed, in Messiah (Ezekiel 36:27; Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 10:16).

In accordance with the mandates of the New Covenant, the indwelling Holy Spirit daily walks the redeemed in obedience to the Father’s will through the conscience via sanctification; this, as the Holy Spirit prepares the redeemed for an eternity of service in the New Jerusalem. The unfathomable myriad of laws in the written code are managed by the Spirit who intercedes in the daily life of the redeemed by controlling the conscience via imputed wisdom and discernment apart from enslavement to the impotence and subjectivity of letters and the sin-nature (Romans 7:6).

The Holy Spirit’s internal work in the redeemed is an infinitely superior form of behavioral modification working through the “new creation” in Messiah (2 Corinthians 5:17) as opposed to the Old Law Covenant seeking obedience to a written code by a sin-nature that continuously failed to adhere to the mandates of absolute perfection (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10; Romans 8:1-8).

The only Alternative to the futility of seeking righteousness through Law,

As first pictured by the Holy Spirit in Genesis 3:21, it is Elohim HIMSELF who would provide humanity a “robe of righteousness” through the shedding of innocent blood while rejecting the works of man’s hands to cover his own sin through acts of self-righteousness.

The imputed righteousness of Elohim is defined, pictured, foreshadowed, throughout the Torah and the New Covenant and expressed explicitly in the Gospel of Jesus Christ which was ordained as Elohim’s battle strategy to “destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b) “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10).

The righteousness provided by God the Father is not through the Law but is only attainable by grace (unmerited favor unattainable through human effort) through faith-trust-belief in the One the Father has sent into the World to provide blood atonement for our sin, Jesus Christ (John 3; John 6:29).

The Father has proclaimed ONE-WAY for sinful humanity to enter into an eternal covenant relationship with Him; that is, believe in the Son, Jesus Christ, and receive the indwelling Holy Spirit as Guarantor of covenant relationship and LIVE (John 14:6; Ephesians 1:13-14) via the “imputed” righteousness, the gifted righteousness, of Jesus earned for us through His perfection in keeping the mandates of the Law and giving Himself as a blood sacrifice for our sin (John 3; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Conclusion,

Elohim has made the sovereign choice to give Himself as a blood sacrifice for your sin; this, for His own glory in the presence of the holy angelic creation, and by faith the perfection, righteousness, of the Son, Jesus Christ, is imputed-gifted into the life of the one who believes that Jesus died for them; this, in exchange for our sin, forever (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 8:12).

What the Law was powerless to do because it was weakened and nullified as a path to righteousness due to our sinful flesh, Elohim did through the appearing of the perfect, sinless, Son in flesh who has provided mandated blood atonement for the sin of the whole World (John 3: Hebrews 10; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 2:2).

State of the Union?

America has been heading down the road of Marxism since 1880 and the Progressive insanity of John Dewey (the father of modern education)…the 60’s marked the point of no return with Engel v. Vitale (1962) and the infusion of Darwin into the “biological sciences” as “evolution” and a subtle form of Marx into revisionist history in the humanities along with the demonic perversion of Hollywood, the mainstream media, homosexuality (1973) and abortion that same year.

America surrendered her posterity to the demons of evolution and Marx 50+years ago and the fruition of that catastrophe is just now coming home to roost in DC and State Houses around the United States…we are no longer a free people served by a limited federal government under the auspices of a “Constitutional Republic”….we are serfs bent over by tyrants and CCP type authoritarianism is about to get very REAL in America.

Without another bloody civil war to once again thwart the demonic pursuits of the vile and perverse Democrat Party, America will die in immorality at the hands of Marx and Satan and our posterity will suffer horrifically…and…we have no one to blame but ourselves….both political parties in the United States are as useless as the tits on a boar hog.
