The Deity of Messiah – evidence of validity concerning covenant relationship – salvation…

Over the years of Scriptural debate, I’ve observed a continuous, eternally relevant, mind-boggling, theme-doctrine promulgated by Jews-Israelite’s-Christian cults-sects-Islamist’s-various other religions; that is, God is not a man nor could He ever assume flesh; therefore, Yeshua-Jesus Christ is not Deity.

Having known and loved Elohim for over 30-years at this point in my life, I’m amazed that seemingly intelligent men and women who profess knowledge of the Scriptures will deny the omnipotence of Elohim and His ability to manifest in any form and in any format He desires. Consider the following Scriptures (from “Got Questions”),

Genesis 12:7-9 – The Lord appeared to Abraham on his arrival in the land God had promised to him and his descendants.

Genesis 18:1-33 – One day, Abraham had some visitors: two angels and God Himself. He invited them to come to his home, and he and Sarah entertained them.

Genesis 32:22-30 – Jacob wrestled with what appeared to be a man, but was actually God (vv. 28-30). This may also have been a Christophany.

Exodus 3:2 – 4:17 – God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush, telling him exactly what He wanted him to do.

Exodus 24:9-11 – God appeared to Moses with Aaron and his sons and the seventy elders.

Deuteronomy 31:14-15 – God appeared to Moses and Joshua in the transfer of leadership to Joshua.

Job 38–42 – God answered Job out of the tempest and spoke at great length in answer to Job’s questions.

The Deity of Jesus Christ – a doctrine of redemption confirmation…

Jesus Christ, speaking to a crowd of unbelieving Jews, warned them that unless they believed He was “I AM” they would die in their sin (John 8:24; Exodus 3:14).

It is beyond my understanding how one can internalize the Truth of the Holy Spirit’s words, the words of Jesus, Himself; the words of the Father, Himself and stubbornly deny that Messiah Jesus could be any less than the fullness of deity in bodily form (John 8:58; John 1; Hebrews 1; Colossians 1); in fact, even the hardened Jews during the ministry of Jesus understood Messiah’s proclamation of deity and ultimately conspired with the Roman authorities to murder Messiah Jesus for blasphemy (John 10:33).

The divine sign that one is redeemed by faith – the Deity of Jesus Christ,

If anyone claims to be redeemed by faith in Jesus as Messiah yet they deny the Deity of Messiah Jesus, they are NOT in covenant with the Father and they therefore remain in their sin. It is the indwelling Holy Spirit that is given the redeemed in Jesus Christ as the Seal and Guarantor of New Covenant relationship with the Father in the New Covenant (Ephesians 1:13-14) and it is the indwelling Holy Spirit who teaches, confirms, verifies, the Deity of Jesus Christ our Creator, our Messiah, our Judge; therefore, if anyone denies the Deity of Jesus Christ they do not possess the indwelling Holy Spirit and if one is absent the Holy Spirit, they are not in covenant with the Father; therefore, they remain in their sin and on the Path to the “second death” in Hell.

The Deity of Messiah Jesus and the initiation of Covenant with the Father…

IT IS NOT a divine requirement that one know, comprehend, acknowledge, Jesus as Elohim, Deity, in order to establish covenant relationship with the Father and find a pardon from death in sin and Hell but that one “believe” Jesus is Messiah who died to pay their sin-debt for them…a debt they could never pay them self – BUT – once the Holy Spirit takes up residence within the truly redeemed in Jesus Christ, they will come to a knowledge of the Truth and they will proclaim that Jesus Christ is Elohim, Deity, God, who manifest in flesh in order to provide blood atonement for the sins of the whole World (1 John 2:2) and that Jesus Christ could be nothing less than the fullness of Deity in bodily form who appeared “to destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b).

In closing,

Understand that the divine knowledge verifying, acknowledging, the Deity of Jesus Christ is the one tell-tale sign of confirmation that a man, woman or child has truly entered into New Covenant relationship with the Father and signals the confirmation that the Holy Spirit indwells them and is actively producing verifying “fruit” (Galatians 5).

It is the affirming knowledge that Jesus Christ is Deity that differentiates, sets-apart, the true Christian from every religion, sect, cult, in this fallen and defiled World enslaved by the Devil.

Why the “written code” (Sinai Commandments) kills without hope but the Law of the Spirit is LIFE – eternally. 2 Corinthians 3:6

The “letter kills” (the written code given Israel at Sinai) because it only defines our sin but provides no atonement for that sin…only hopelessness (Romans 3:20) because the letter, in order to attain righteousness (a right standing, covenant, with the Father) through it, demanded perfection (James 2:10) and man is under the condemnation of sin (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12); therefore, the letter curses anyone seeking righteousness through obedience to same (Galatians 3:10). If Torah is your ticket to eternal life, you will perish in Hell (Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:20).

The Christian is not under law but under Grace (Romans 6:14) through faith in Jesus as Messiah (Romans 10:9-10); that is, the Christian does not chase letters, edicts, days, diets, but the Christian lives by the teaching, daily sanctification, of the Holy Spirit who indwells them (Romans 7:6; Ephesians 1:13-14) subsequent establishing covenant relationship (New Covenant) with the Father by faith in the Son, Jesus Christ (John 3).

Therefore, the Christian does NOT live daily chasing letters that are subjective and easily rationalized away by the sin-nature but the Christian walks by the Spirit via a redeemed conscience and the “natural, moral, law of conscience” (Romans 2:14-15), written on our heart at conception by our Creator, is enlivened through the “new creation” in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), that redeemed conscience and the law that governs it is made alive by the indwelling Holy Spirit and the Law of the Spirit of life (Romans 8:2) is applicable, readily available, to discern every moral decision encountered by the Christian daily; therefore, the Law of the Spirit is infinitely superior to the Law of sin and death that could never save or offer hope (Romans 8:1-3).

Torah is NOT the answer to sin’s condemnation or eternal life,

If I never observed Torah, my eternal relationship with my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, would be undeterred as I am NOT redeemed by the Law and I am not sanctified by the Law given the lawless (Romans 3:20; 1 Timothy 1:9)) but my salvation is assured by faith in the One who kept the Law for me and has imputed HIS lawful perfection, righteousness, into and over my life by faith in Him, Jesus Christ, as my Messiah (2 Corinthians 5:21) and my Law is the Spirit of LIFE who indwells me and sanctifies me through my redeemed conscience via the natural law of conscience written upon my heart (Galatians 5:16; Romans 2:14-15) and my obedience to the Father’s will manifests through the presence of the Spirit’s “fruit” in my life; against same, THERE IS NO LAW (Galatians 5:22-24).

Law Obsession – a Spiritual Illness and death to the soul in Hell…

Both the Natural Law of Conscience (Romans 2:14-15) and the written code given Israel at Sinai (9 of 10) AKA “the Law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2) are given because of lawlessness to the lawless and NOT the righteous (1 Timothy 1:9) as a righteous man or woman pursues what is right and lawful and good and sustainable because they obey the Natural Law of Conscience which is eternally superior to Sinai or Moses’ 603 civil/ceremonial laws, as the Natural Law of Conscience is written upon their heart at conception, administered by the human conscience via the human genome created on Day-6; that genome created in the spiritual image of Elohim who imparted certain divine communicable attributes into the human genome for Elohim’s eschatological purposes going forward (Genesis 1:26-28).

Natural Law, New Covenant, the Holy Spirit, the “new creation,” sanctification,

It is the Natural Law of Conscience that is enlivened, made applicable with understanding, by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) working through the redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) via daily sanctification; this is the promise of the New Covenant in Christ, a New Covenant established, ratified, in Messiah’s blood (Matthew 26:28) that honors the Father, NOT the written code demanding perfection from the sin-nature – a sin-nature of death that could never adequately comply to mandated perfection (James 2:10).

The eternal futility of obsession with law,

This obsession with law, the written code, is a spiritual illness that infects the heart, mind and soul of the legalist, the self-righteous hypocrite; a stale and vulgar disease. Law only defines your sin void atonement (Romans 3:20) and curses anyone who seeks righteousness (a right standing) with the Father through obedience to same (Galatians 3:10); this truism is abundantly made manifest through the self-righteousness of Jacob’s children throughout their history and continues to this very day as they have a zeal for God but NOT according to knowledge; in their wilful, stubborn, ignorance of God’s righteousness through His Messiah by faith, they seek to establish their own righteousness through self-righteousness via the Law…a “law addiction of death” (Romans 10); this, while denying the imputed righteousness of Yeshua received by faith (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Honoring the Father through faith, NOT law,

It is one’s faith, belief, in Messiah that honors the Father’s will for our life; that is, “to believe in the One He has sent” into the World to provide blood atonement for our sin (John 6:29; John 3:16).

The KEY to the Father’s heart is NOT LAW but FAITH,

Yeshua as our Messiah is “the end of the Law concerning righteousness” (Romans 10:4); in this divine statement, the Holy Spirit is telling YOU that the failures of the Law to elicit, evoke, soul-saving righteousness from the sin-nature of man has come to an end; the curse of the Law has ended for the one who “believes” as the Holy One, Jesus Christ, has come and conquered the curse of the Law for us through His sinless perfection and offers you and me HIS perfection, righteousness, in exchange for our sin IF we will simply trust-believe in Him, Jesus Christ/Yeshua, as our Messiah believing that Yeshua died for us to pay our sin-debt we could never pay our self (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Why an obsession with eternal death through Law?

Why are you allowing the obsession with that which curses, condemns, kills your soul in Hell; that is, the written code, to become an obsessive-compulsive addiction in your spiritual life when freedom, peace, assurance, perfect righteousness, is offered you by Yeshua, Jesus Christ, who came not to condemn the World through the written Law but to give you abundant life by faith in Him as your Messiah (John 3:16-19) and a life of relevant, honored, obedience manifest through the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16-23)?

A warning concerning the Allah of Islam and the Quran,

There is nothing “noble” about the Allah of Islam or the Quran as Islam’s Allah is Satan masquerading as an angel of light via the Arabic moon god (2 Corinthians 11:14) and the Quran is a plagiarized work of a 7th-Century demon possessed murdering pedophile thief named Muhammad, the ancestor of Ishmael born of adultery between Abraham and Hagar who was prophesied to be “a wild donkey of a man” (Genesis 16:12). Anyone deceived by Islam’s Allah or its false prophet, Muhammad, will perish in Hell without hope.

If you desire eternal life through the forgiveness of sin via covenant relationship with our Heavenly Father, repent, turn away from your sin and fully trust and believe in Jesus Christ as your Messiah who died to pay your sin-debt owed the Father…a debt you could never pay yourself as there is no other Way to life but through Jesus as your Messiah (John 3; John 14:6).

It is written,

10 The angel of the Lord also said to her [Hagar], “I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.” 11 And the angel of the Lord said to her,

“Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the Lord has listened to your affliction. 12 He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.” Genesis 16:10-12 (ESV)

It is written,

Isaac, alone, is the son of promise, 15 God said to Abraham, “I will change the name of Sarai, your wife, to Sarah. 16 I will bless her and give her a son, and you will be the father. She will be the mother of many nations. Kings of nations will come from her.”

17 Abraham bowed facedown on the ground and laughed. He said to himself, “Can a man have a child when he is a hundred years old? Can Sarah give birth to a child when she is ninety?” 18 Then Abraham said to God, “Please let Ishmael be the son you promised.”

19 God said, “No, Sarah your wife will have a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will make my agreement with him to be an agreement that continues forever with all his descendants.

20 “As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will bless him and give him many descendants. And I will cause their numbers to grow greatly. He will be the father of twelve great leaders, and I will make him into a great nation. 21 But I will make my agreement with Isaac, the son whom Sarah will have at this same time next year.” 22 After God finished talking with Abraham, God rose and left him. The “Ark of the Covenant” is a foreshadowing of Messiah…

1) The wood forming the body of the Ark represented Messiah’s humanity (Isaiah 53:2).

2) The gold that provides value and beauty to the Ark represented Messiah’s deity (Matthew 2:1).

3) The Mercy Seat and the two-angels atop were seen in their fulfillment as they were observed by Mary in the tomb of Jesus (John 20:12) signifying that Messiah Jesus is our Living “Mercy Seat.”

4) Aaron’s rod – a dead stick that budded to life – indicates that Messiah would die and live again through the resurrection (John 11:17-44).

5) The pot of manna represented that Messiah would be our sustenance, our “Bread of Life” from Heaven (John 6:35).

6) The Tablets of Stone etched with Elohim’s Commandments indicated that Messiah would possess the Law of God in His heart and He alone would be the fulfillment of same (Matthew 5:17).

The reality/reasoning for Hell – The “Lake of Fire”…a sincere warning…

The reality of man’s judgment for sin is in no way “vague” in the Scriptures; if your sin is not atoned for by the blood of Messiah Jesus by faith in Jesus as your Messiah, you will NOT enter the Kingdom of God (John 3); therefore, the default for your corrupted resurrected body, mind, soul, subsequent internment in Hades-Torments, is extinction, the “second death,” as there remains no place for your chosen defilement (Revelation 20:11-15).

Do not be deceived, the Father is NOT going to allow your rejection of His righteousness, His eschatological plan for Time and Eternity through the Son, Jesus Christ, to be stymied, polluted, endangered, by your rebellion. The Father has been through that scenario once and suffered unconscionably to restore holiness and righteousness to His Kingdom defiled by the very sin you covet; therefore, you will not be allowed to repeat it as nothing impure will enter His Kingdom (Revelation 21:27).

ONLY those who have received the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ by faith as atonement for their sin, their corrupted nature buffered by the new creation in Christ via the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 5:16), will enter the Kingdom, the New Jerusalem, and live with Messiah forever (2 Corinthians 5:21; John 14:6; John 3).

Concerning those who died before Messiah’s First-Advent, where is their soul, their spirit?

Those who existed before Messiah found righteousness with Elohim just as those subsequent Messiah’s First-Advent; that is, righteousness (a right standing) with the Father was and is initiated by “faith;” that is, believing that God is true, God is real and that He will do exactly as He has promised (Hebrews 11).

Many men and women entered into covenant with the Father before Messiah; unfortunately, their sin had not received the acceptable atonement though that blood-atonement was first pictured in Genesis 3:21 and articulated subsequently in Leviticus 17:11, foreshadowed by the Levitical blood sacrifices and ultimately fulfilled by Messiah Jesus at Golgotha with the words “It is finished” (John 19:30).

Before Messiah’s blood atonement had manifest at Golgotha, those who died prior to that atonement, their spirit/soul was detained temporarily in Sheol (Hades-Greek)/Paradise (Luke 16) and while Messiah’s body laid in the tomb for three-days, Messiah, in Spirit (John 4:24), entered the region of Sheol-Paradise, preached the Gospel/liberty to them and subsequently escorted them into the Kingdom where nothing impure is permitted to exist (Ephesians 4:7-10; Revelation 21:27). These Old Testament saints had now received the imputed righteousness of Messiah over their existence by faith and were declared “not guilty” by covenant promise (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 8:12).

Disposition of the dead today?

Those who die subsequent Messiah’s atonement for sin having trusted in Jesus Christ as their Messiah by faith during their life constrained by Time and physics (John 3), they are immediately translated into the presence of our Lord as Sheol-Paradise is now unoccupied and irrelevant (2 Corinthians 5:8).

Only Sheol-Hades/Torments (Luke 16) remains relevant; this, for all unredeemed who die not in faith, not in covenant with the Father through faith in Jesus Christ, as these are awaiting the Great White Throne Judgment of the Condemned and will receive resurrected bodies of corruption and stand for adjudication before Jesus Christ immediately subsequent His Millennial Reign; these will be adjudicated guilty for their sin, their fleshly works of unrighteousness, and die the “second death”in the Lake of Fire in nihilism (Revelation 20:11-15).

Satan, the objective of the demonic in Time; What is Satan’s objective subsequent Eden? “Diminishing Returns” – a discussion…

Humanity requires no instruction in lawlessness as lawlessness, defilement, self-destructive behavior, flows naturally from the sin-nature we’ve inherited from our father, Adam as Adam relented to the enticement of his wife as Adam’s wife relented to the enticement of Satan’s promises of endless pleasure in return for her compromise with evil (Romans 5:12).

Satan’s objective is no longer your sin but His motive is a seared conscience, an attitude of complacency that compromises with self-destructive behavior through the demonic tactic of “diminishing returns;” that is, the temporary pleasure of immoral behavior mandates progressively enhanced immoral acts in self-defilement in order to achieve the “pleasure” perceived from the previous compromise; this demonic agenda, diminishing returns, is the foundation for “addiction” and it ultimately destroys mind, body, soul in Hell.

With every compromise in the addiction to “diminishing returns” the Holy Spirit’s call to repentance and life in Messiah Jesus by faith grows incrementally, increasingly, faint and ultimately silent.

False doctrine of “Christian Perfectionism” “Sinless Perfectionism” and the teaching of Jesus? (Woman caught in Adultery, John 8:1-11). Scripture and a comment/discussion,

Inspired text or scribal addition?

Before we continue, understand that: [The earliest manuscripts do not include John 7:53–8:11.]; therefore, is the “Woman caught in adultery” inspired text or added later? The better translations bracket [John 7:53 to 8:11] to indicate their absence in our most trusted manuscripts; therefore, to base doctrine or one’s theological ideology on these verses is not practicing true Biblical wisdom.

With divine inspiration of the text questionable and in contention what is the conclusion of the matter concerning “Sinless Perfectionism?”

As long as one is encumbered with a body of sinful flesh (Romans 3:23) subject to the Adamic curse (Romans 5:12), sinless perfection is NOT possible and anyone who promotes the false doctrine of “Christian Perfectionism” or “Sinless Perfectionism” does not understand the Scriptures or the Holy Spirit who provided them.

Jesus enhanced culpability of the written code with Mens Rea (the thought life)…

Jesus, if the text is actually inspired, was not suggesting that the woman caught in adultery was to become sinless but that she was to walk away, repent, from her immoral lifestyle and pursue righteousness as grace had been provided her. Jesus would not command something that is not humanly possible; in fact, Jesus enhanced the Law of sin and death (the written code) to include mens rea (the thought life) so no longer must one physiologically engage in an act of disobedience to be culpable for sin but the mere “thought” of the sin is culpability before the Father (Matthew 5:21-28); therefore, humanity, encapsulated in sinful, condemned, flesh, will NEVER be sinless or perfect in reality and to even suggest the possibility exists is absurd and defies logic.

Though the redeemed in Jesus possess a new-nature as a result of their faith in Jesus as Lord (2 Corinthians 5:17), they are NOT sinless in mind or body or deed and that New Nature in Christ wars against the Old Nature in Adam, daily, and the internal struggle between good and evil will continue until the body of sin surrenders to death and frees the spirit that belongs to our Lord and was created in His spiritual image (Romans 7:14-25; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Genesis 1:26-28).

The ONLY “perfection” we can attain in this life constrained by Time, physics, flesh, is the IMPUTED perfection/righteousness Gifted us by faith in Jesus as Lord and being declared “not guilty” or “positionally right” with the Father by covenant promise (Hebrews 8:12; 2 Corinthians 5:21). As Christians, we are to pursue obedience to our Father’s will; this, accomplished through obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit via the redeemed conscience producing the “fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5) as we walk daily in the divine process of sanctification yet the struggle with evil continues…
