If you desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit, trust – believe in Jesus Christ as your Messiah, trust in Jesus as the One who died to pay your sin-debt and you will receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). From that time forward, the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit in your life is contingent upon how much of your yourself, your personal will, you’re willing to surrender to the will of the Father for your life and exercise the spiritual gift(s) He has given you in response to your faith (1 Corinthians 12); spiritual gifts that are to be faithfully exercised for the Father’s eschatological plan for Time and Eternity.
The infilling of the Holy Spirit is not manifest through the Church, Pastors, Teachers, Preachers, the laying-on of hands; the infilling of the Holy Spirit is Gifted you as the Spirit is the Guarantor of covenant with the Father when you trust in Jesus Christ as your Messiah; this, by covenant promise (Ephesians 1:13-14; Ezekiel 36:27).

Thirty-years ago, as a new Christian, I involved myself in John Osteen’s “Lakewood Church” in Northeast Houston, Texas. John Osteen, a former Baptist Preacher turned Charasmatic, tongue-talking, full-Gospel, Minister is the deceased father of the infamous Joel Osteen of the modern day “Lakewood Church” in near West Houston, Texas.
John Osteen’s Church was alive, active, busy, (John Osteen was an incredibly charismatic preacher) and “speaking in tongues” and “Baptism in the Holy Spirit” were the “in-things” and these doctrines were taught as evidences of the infilling Holy Spirit and these doctrines were touted as mandated evidence of one’s salvation; in other words, if you did not speak in tongues you were not baptized with the Holy Spirit and therefore you were lost and remained in your sin. This is abuse, this is heresy.
Personally, I was so engrossed in studying the Scriptures while simultaneously captivated by the draw of Charismata that I joined the Ministry of Lakewood Church. During my brief tenure there, I was commanded by administrators to teach children to speak in tongues, then, as a tenured Houston police officer, I was asked to provide security for Benny Hinn’s revival crusade. NEVER in my life, up to that point and subsequently, have I personally observed such mass hysteria, embarrassment, demonically rooted deception under the guise of spiritual enlightenment as what I observed and participated in during my tenure in Churches of Charismata. Needless to say, the Holy Spirit provided me a “front row” to all that is “Full-Gospel” Charismata very early in my walk with Jesus Christ via the indwelling Holy Spirit via sanctification.
Fast forward 30-years of walking with my precious Lord and listening to the indwelling Holy Spirit as He teaches me the Scriptures with such faithfulness and purity. “Baptism in the Holy Spirit,” as taught by Churches of Charismata, is an abused, false doctrine, and today’s tongues find their origin NOT in the Biblical Pentecost or the “Acts of the Apostles” but in paganism; specifically, the Delphic Oracles.
Truth concerning “Baptism in the Holy Spirit,”
The moment one repents of their sin and sincerely believes in their heart that Jesus Christ is Messiah who died for them; that is, Jesus died to pay their sin-debt owed the Father, a debt they could never pay them self (John 3)…it is at the moment one “believes” that Jesus is their Messiah that they receive every ounce, the complete infilling, of the Holy Spirit, forever (Ephesians 1:13-14).
Receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit is NOT contingent upon the laying-on of hands or the efforts of another but the fullness of the Holy Spirit is received by faith; that is, faith – trust – belief that Jesus Christ is Messiah who died for you. Receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit is a personal, intimate, resultant of having trusted in Jesus Christ as your Messiah and no man, no Church, can provide you the Gift of the Holy Spirit, ONLY the Father, by covenant promise (Ezekiel 36:27; Jeremiah 31;31-34; Ephesians 1:13-14) provides the Holy Spirit to the one who does His will (John 6:29); that is, believes in the One He has sent into the World to provide you blood atonement for your sin; that is, Jesus Christ our Messiah (John 14:6).
The anointing of the Holy Spirit,
The anointing, the power, the strength, the influence, the veracity of the spiritual gift(s) received when one truly believes in Jesus Christ as Messiah (1 Corinthians 12:8-10) is completely dependent, wholly contingent, upon how much of one’s self, how much of one’s own personal will, they’re willing to surrender to the will of the Father for their life; in other words, the power or “exousía” or “dunamis” of the Holy Spirit in your life is not dependent upon a Church, the laying-on of hands by others, speaking in tongues, but the Holy Spirit’s anointing in one’s life is completely contingent upon “obedience” to the Father’s will, that is, exercising the courage to step-out in faith and do what the Father commands of you with boldness. The Father’s will for your life is manifest and understood by exercising the Spiritual Gifts He has granted you as His child by faith in His Son.
Conclusion,
DO NOT allow the deception of today’s Charismata, Full-Gospel Pentecostalism, to thwart or stymie your walk with Jesus through the Holy Spirit via doctrines of demons that tell you one must “speak in tongues” and be “Baptized in the Holy Spirit” by the laying on of hands or that you must provide evidence of your salvation by speaking in tongues; this is demonic in origin and has resulted in personal horror for far too many as they honestly know they don’t speak in tongues and as a consequence they worry, fret, that they’re lost in sin and that the Lord has rejected them or the Father won’t hear their prayer; tragically, these feel unworthy, rejected, dismayed, and through fretful sleep and daily doubt, their life is replete with spiritual confusion and defeat. DO NOT ALLOW THE deception of CHARISMATA to destroy your walk with Jesus and the JOY of the precious indwelling Holy Spirit.
If one seeks a “sign” concerning their salvation, let them examine their heart and the “fruit of the Spirit” that is produced by the “new creation” in Jesus Christ (Galatians 5: 2 Corintians 5:17). Trust in Jesus with all your heart and the Holy Spirit will direct your path and bathe you in His peace (Proverbs 3:5-6; Romans 5:1). Salvation is “personal intimacy” with our Creator by faith; therefore, walk in peace through the reconciliation provided you by Jesus Christ.

Discussion with Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy regarding Vehicular NOISE ABUSE on Pine Island, Florida
This previous Sunday, 19 February 2023, while preparing for Church service to begin at Pine Island FBC in Pine Island Center, an extremely LOUD, illegally LOUD, illegally equipped, pick-up truck (light colored, aftermarket chrome wide wheels) passed the Church NB on Avenue D and for the second or third Sunday, the driver of this pick-up accelerated and audibly assaulted the congregation and the surrounding community as he proceeded to his residence on Avenue E. The audible assault was purposeful and done for harassment of those gathered for worship services. Two-Sunday services earlier, the Pastor was praying when this same disrespectful driver interrupted the service and the Pastor commented that the interruption emanated from evil.
A uniformed Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy, White female, was sitting in the parking lot of the Pine Island Elementary School in a marked Lee County police vehicle adjacent to Pine Island FBC as the illegally loud narcissistic thug accelerated NB on Avenue D. I noticed that the Deputy made no attempt to intercede on behalf of the Pine Island residents who had been audibly assaulted, abused, in her presence by the driver of the pick-up at which time I proceeded to speak with the Deputy.
I asked the Deputy why she had not stopped and investigated, cited, the illegal behavior of the driver of the pick-up and why Lee County SO refused to stop the incredibly LOUD motorcycles, auto’s, trucks, that flooded Pine Island, destroyed the peaceful ambiance of the Island, at which time she stated that she needed a sound meter to enforce the vehicular noise laws. The Deputy first obfuscated her failure to intercede by informing me that Florida had recently passed a law prohibiting loud speakers, noise, in public places and provided a brief overview of the elements of that particular law.
Not truly interested in her obfuscation at that point in time, I advised the Deputy that according to Florida State Law, she was NOT required to use a sound meter to enforce the motor vehicle noise law as Florida provided her with a vehicular noise law that mandated quiet, factory-installed, muffler noise levels.

The Deputy responded with more obfuscation stating that she was not traffic enforcement nor was she an expert on differentiating legal noise emissions from unlawful noise emissions. I informed the Deputy that she was in error and as a certified law enforcement officer, legal precedent existed stating that she is qualified to determine what is unlawful and unusual noise emanating from a motor vehicle.

The Lee County Deputy stated that she wondered why the loud Harley Davidson riders were permitted to ride so loud and with an excessively loud radio playing as well. I proceeded to ask the Deputy why her Department allowed these illegally loud, abusive, operators of illegally equipped motorcycles, automobiles, trucks, to abuse, audibly assault, the citizens of Pine Island with impunity? I advised the Deputy that her Sheriff was useless, impotent, and that I personally was extremely tired of being abused by the narcissistic thugs operating these illegally LOUD motor vehicles, those who had no respect for the citizens of Pine Island, Florida.

Apparently, there is a prevailing sense of apathy among far too many Deputies in Florida perhaps due to WOKE politics and liability concerns and there is obviously a lack of adequate training relevant to enforcement procedures, especially concerning those applicable laws that directly affect the daily quality of life of the average citizen. Recently and pathetically, Lee County’s own Police Motorcycle Detail received a recommendation from the Legal Department of Lee County to return their illegally equipped police motorcycles back to quiet factory-installed mufflers to comply with Florida’s State Law. Our own law enforcement community had illegally equipped their police motorcycles with illegally LOUD aftermarket COBRA (not for road use) racing exhausts. Florida’s Legislature has provided an adequate “factory-installed” muffler requirement for enforcement use though that same Legislature has also included confusion in the law with the addition of sound-meter mandates relevant to those vehicles not originally fitted with EPA factory muffler requirements; all things considered, Florida’s Legislation does mandate a factory-installed-quiet muffler that meets the total vehicle noise limits of 80dB(A) (motorcycles as per the full-throttle drive-by testing procedure SAE J331a and OEM motorcycle muffler labeling mandates for 1986 street-use motorcycles forward).
Differentiating between the quiet factory installed mufflers on motorcycles, automobiles, passenger trucks, from the illegally LOUD aftermarket exhausts illegally retailed, installed, operated, throughout Florida is not a complicated matter and any State certified police officer or deputy is authorized by applicable case law to stop, investigate, cite, for violations of Florida’s muffler law without the use of an adjudicatory nightmare that is sound meter testing.
All that is needed to STOP the vehicular NOISE abuse in Florida is a handful of dedicated officers, supervisors, prosecutors, judges, willing to make a difference; if only there existed those in today’s law enforcement, those men and women who truly cared about the daily quality of life of the average citizen, vehicular noise abuse would cease on Pine Island, Florida and around the United States.
Why will only a “remnant” of Israel’s children find life in the Kingdom? Why do Israel’s children remain in blindness to the Truth of their Messiah, Yeshua (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27)?
Israel’s children are blinded, they exist under the Jewish Curse, because their ancestors rejected Elohim’s eschatological plan for them concerning the Great Commission via the Gospel via their Messiah, Yeshua (Matthew 10:6; 15:24; Matthew 28:16-20). Paul v. Moses; Inspiration v. Ideological Prejudice; Faith v. Personal Bias; Life v. Death in Hell
Recently, I’ve received an upsurge in responses from Hebrew Roots fanatics, Jews, Israelite’s…perhaps some are adherents to Islam’s Allah (Satan masquerading as an angel of light), Christian cults and sects, who literally HATE the Apostle Paul who narrated approximately two-thirds of the New Covenant’s Scripture via inspiration of the Holy Spirit; the Epistles of Paul, a Biblical exegesis explaining the minutia, the daily applicability, of the Gospel ratified in the blood of Jesus Christ (Matthew 26:28).
It is truly mind-boggling to me how anyone who proclaims they’re a student of the Canon of Scripture, a lover of Elohim and person of faith, could even suggest the Apostle Paul is a “fraud,” a “liar,” a “false teacher.”
Consider this,
Do you not understand that every letter, jot and tittle, of the Scriptures, from “The Genesis” to the “The Revelation” are provided you by our omnipotent Elohim through the Holy Spirit?
Do you not understand that every letter, jot and tittle, of the Scriptures in the Canon are available to you because they’ve been divinely preserved and protected by the omnipotent Holy Spirit; unrelenting attacks from the demonic, the servants of Satan in the Spiritual World as well as the Natural World i.e. corrupted flesh of men seeking to nullify the veracity and promises of the Gospel?

The words provided the Apostle Paul are no less inspired by the Holy Spirit than the words provided Moses and when one expresses hatred for the Apostle Paul and they proceed to despise, insult, disparage, Paul’s letters and the Gospel of Jesus Christ he preached, these apostates and servants of evil insult and blaspheme the Holy Spirit and the Spirit’s authority, omnipotence, the Holy Spirit’s obedience to the Father’s eschatological will for Time and Eternity.

The rapidly approaching “fullness of the Gentiles” who will enter the Kingdom and trigger “that day” (Romans 11:25) is wholly subject to “free will” as the Father is patient with all not desiring that anyone perish in Hell but that all men and women come to a knowledge of the Truth and find salvation in the Son through faith (1 Timothy 2:4).
The Father, Himself, alone, knows the specific number of Gentiles who will enter the Kingdom and when that number has been fulfilled the final 3.5-years of the Tribulation Era will commence and nearing its conclusion “that day” will manifest with Messiah’s 2nd-Advent to Mount Olivette where the Nations of Russia, China, Islam/Iran (an Islamic coalition) will have gathered to commence a nuclear conflict with Israel seeking Israel’s complete demise. Messiah Jesus will rescue Israel in “that day” void any assistance, intervention, from the kings and rulers of the Earth; this victory will initiate Messiah’s Millennial Reign.
The obedience of the Son and the Spirit to the Father’s authority and His prerogative to command the supremacy of free will to govern the timing of “that day” in no way diminishes the deity and sovereignty of the Son and the Holy Spirit within the Godhead but provides for us a divine example of “faith” that we should be expressing daily in our walk with Messiah through sanctification via the Holy Spirit’s leadership as the Spirit prepares the faithful in Jesus for service in the New Jerusalem.
Eve and Satan in Eden…what did Eve actually observe and why was she so enamored by that observation and conversation?
Not sure how many times my debates with Atheists, Secular Humanists, Darwinist’, have either been initiated by or culminated in a MEME or suggestion that Eve, in Eden, communicated with a “serpent” that we identify today as a slithering, frightening, reptilian. Eve’s encounter with this “serpent” is often used by those seeking death in Hell to mock the Genesis narrative and through obfuscation seek to destroy the foundational text for all of Scripture.
The “serpent” used by the Holy Spirit in the Genesis narrative in Eden is an analogy depicting, describing in a tangible manner, the evil attributes of the Devil and has no reference to physiological appearance nor does the text suggest a reptile actually conversed with Eve; in fact, the “serpent” is not cursed to the dust of the ground until Genesis 3:14 subsequent Eve’s compromise and Adam’s obedience to Eve’s request.
The Holy Spirit, through the prophet Ezekiel, describes for you what Eve observed in Eden and why she was enamored by what she saw; also, it’s important to remember that the interaction between Eve and Satan was pre-Adamic curse and the relationship between the Spiritual Realm (Eternal) and the Physical Realm (Time) was not distorted by the curse of sin manifesting in physiological decay and atrophy.

The Sinai Commandments, excluding the 4th, are rooted in the “natural, moral, law of conscience” (Romans 2:14-15) which has been extant as an arbiter of free will subsequent the creation of the angels; therefore, Sinai’s Laws are NOTHING new or novel concerning our Creator’s will for Israel or the Gentile. These Three-distinct Persons of the Godhead are all individually identified in Scripture and all Three commune in harmony with intimacy; the Father’s authority has been completely delegated to the Son (John 3:35; Matthew 28:18) and that authority is administered within the Realm of Time by the Holy Spirit and these Three converse, communicate, coordinate, to complete the Father’s eschatological plan for Time and Eternity via the Gospel, the “battle strategy” ordained “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10) by which Messiah Jesus has “destroyed the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b); therefore, I cannot and will NOT deny what is written but I choose to believe the Holy Spirit’s inspiration and His anointing by faith.
