The Holy Spirit never said that Eve ate of an “apple” but that she disobeyed what her husband had told her. It is Adam that actually disobeyed Elohim as Adam received the edict to NOT compromise with evil DIRECTLY from Elohim while Eve received the instruction from her husband – hearsay. This is why the seed of man passes the sin-curse to every generation (Romans 5:12) and this is why Elohim proclaimed that the Messiah would enter the Realm of Time via the “seed of the woman” (Genesis 3:15). In Adam all die, not Eve. Adam incurred the greater culpability due his disobedience to an edict given him directly from Elohim whereas Eve disobeyed or neglected what her husband told her.
