Jewish false doctrine INRE to the Sabbath…a rebuttal,

False Jewish Doctrine articulated on FB:

“Shalom…For Yahweh so loved the world that He made the Shabbath for Him to be Remembered for Creating you and me.”

Christian response,

Not once was the Sabbath given to Adam, Enoch, Noah, to Abraham, Isaac or Jacob; the Sabbath was given SPECIFICALLY to the Hebrew Tribes at Sinai to point them to their coming Messiah who is our Creator (John 1, Hebrews 1, Colossians 1) and Who offers a “rest” from an arduous Law that mandated perfection (James 2:10) and only condemned void atonement (Romans 3:20).

Jesus is our Sabbath’s rest (Hebrews 4) and those who trust in Him are NOT obligated to a Day but to the Holy Spirit and these faithful walk in God’s Laws written upon their heart (Hebrews 10:16) and administered by the indwelling Holy Spirit through the daily process of sanctification.God’s righteousness is NOT about a Day or an edict but God’s righteousness is found only in Jesus Christ as your Lord and the receiving of the Holy Spirit as your Guarantor of relationship with the Father (John 3:16-18; John 14:6; Ephesians 1:13-14). There is no life in the Kingdom for the one who trusts in a Day or a Law for their righteousness (right standing) with God as only faith in Jesus as your Lord will provide redemption through the forgiveness of sin (Galatians 2:16; John 14:6).

Correcting the Jewish error above,

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. John 3:16-17 (NASB)
