Not once was the Sabbath given to Adam, Enoch, Noah, to Abraham, Isaac or Jacob; the Sabbath was given SPECIFICALLY to the Hebrew Tribes at Sinai to point them to their coming Messiah who is our Creator (John 1, Hebrews 1, Colossians 1) and Who offers a “rest” from an arduous Law that mandated perfection (James 2:10) and only condemned void atonement (Romans 3:20).

Jesus is our Sabbath’s rest (Hebrews 4) and those who trust in Him are NOT obligated to a Day but to the Holy Spirit and these faithful walk in God’s Laws written upon their heart (Hebrews 10:16) and administered by the indwelling Holy Spirit through the daily process of sanctification.God’s righteousness is NOT about a Day or an edict but God’s righteousness is found only in Jesus Christ as your Lord and the receiving of the Holy Spirit as your Guarantor of relationship with the Father (John 3:16-18; John 14:6; Ephesians 1:13-14). There is no life in the Kingdom for the one who trusts in a Day or a Law for their righteousness (right standing) with God as only faith in Jesus as your Lord will provide redemption through the forgiveness of sin (Galatians 2:16; John 14:6).
