Did Jesus die for the sins of Israel only?

Theological question posited on FB: “Why [do] you teach Jesus only died for Israel? Is God partial, if so, how could this be true?”

Christian response,

Beware of the cult of the Black Hebrew Israelite’s that roam these pages,

Jesus Christ-Yeshua died for the sins of the World and God the Father sent Him to the World through Israel; Israel (Genesis 12:3) is the vessel by which Messiah entered Time through the womb of a virgin woman who is the child of Israel through the Tribe of Judah. Israel is beloved by the Father but Israel rejected their Messiah and demanded that His blood be upon them and their children (Matthew 27:25); therefore, God has taken His Covenants and Promises to the Gentiles until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in (Romans 11:25) and only a remnant of Israel will be saved due to their stubbornness and hardness of heart (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27).

If you are a Jew, a child of Israel, you have no cause to boast but you should humble yourself for the travesty of your forefathers and break-away from the veil of unbelief (2 Corinthians 3:15) and turn to Yeshua today as your God and Savior and pray for God’s mercy and grace upon your life and the life of your family (John 3:16).

jesus - died for the sins of the whole world

  1. He did not come to save the whole world, he came to save the world of Israel , Israel was scattered among all nations, only a remnant of Israelites will be saved,,,,, there is no such thing as “Black” Hebrew Israelites ,,, They are HEBREW ISRAELITES

    1. Incorrect…the promise of Messiah is relevant “to all the families of the Earth” as per Genesis 12:3b and Israel was simply a conduit through whom this promise was fulfilled. Elohim’s eschatological intent was initially to use the Tribe of Judah and all the children of Jacob to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28) but Israel rejected the New Covenant, the Gospel, murdered their Messiah and demanded that His blood be upon them and their children; therefore, Elohim placed Israel under judgment and gave the Gospel to the Gentiles. Jesus came to provided atonement for the “Whole World”…Israel was a conduit which rejected that atonement.

“2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.” 1 John 2:2 (ESV)
