The Necessity of Messiah’s Deity

Another denial of the Trinity posted on FB: “The God of Babylon = the trinity; The God of Christianity = the trinity; The mystery religion of Babylon = Christianity. It’s really that simple. Why would we want to have the same God as the pope?”
Christian response,
The Pope of Catholicism has nothing to do with the Trinity. The God of the Bible has introduced Himself within the Realm of Time as a Trinity and void the Trinity we could not know God nor could redemption manifest for our sins as God is Spirit (John 4:24) and we are His created beings constrained by Time and physics via a genome, a body of flesh encapsulating an eternal spirit, that He created in His image (Genesis 1:26-28). If not for the hypostatic union of God and man, the Gospel, which was ordained “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 1:10), could not have manifest and provided atonement for our sin; therefore, all of mankind would be condemned in their sin and destined to die the “second death” in Hell because the Father, in His absolute holiness, is NOT going to permit unrepentant sin to enter His Kingdom subsequent to the death of the body in Time (Rev. 21:27); therefore, an Intercessor providing atonement in perfection is mandated (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 10:5-6).
God introduces Himself as a Triune God beginning in Genesis 1:1 via the Name “Elohim” which is a plural noun with a singular verb and the Holy Spirit is first introduced in Genesis 1:2 and the Trinity is seen working in unison to form the human genome as “Us” in Genesis 1:26-28 while the Son, manifesting in Time through the seed of the woman (virgin), is first introduced in Genesis 3:15 which announces a war between Satan – his fallen angels and the Son, Jesus Christ, while the Gospel by which God would defeat the works of the Devil is pictured in Genesis 3:21; in fact, the very reason the Son of God entered Time was to “destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b) and this could NOT have manifest void the Trinity and the hypostatic union (Philippians 2:8).
You can deny and disparage the Trinity if you desire to do so but the Scriptures testify against you and anyone performing an honest exegesis of the Holy Scriptures cannot deny that God has chosen to reveal Himself in a Trinity. The Father, the Son, the Spirit are One-God in essence and Three in person and there exists a consensual delineation of authority in the Godhead as this models obedience, organization, structure, honor, dignity and provides an example for the Biblical family unit and societal structure concerning authorities and obedience to same on Earth.

Sabbath keepers, Law Keepers and Black Hebrew Israelite cult members roam these pages and mock the Christian and suggest that Scriptural – Covenant supremacy lies with Israel and those seeking obedience to the Law of Moses as Jesus came only to the lost sheep of Israel. Is this true and what has happened that the Gentiles have found grace and mercy with God the Father by grace through faith in Jesus while Israel has been cast out of the Covenant of Reconciliation/Grace and only a remnant of Israel will be saved?
So then, Messiah came to the lost sheep of Israel and had in mind “other sheep” not of Israel’s fold (John 10:16); in response to Israel’s rejection of their Messiah, it is those “other sheep” that now have dominion in God’s will and His eschatological Plan for the World until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in (Romans 11:25). It is prophesied that a Jewish remnant will recognize, worship, serve and honor Messiah Yeshua in the coming days of Tribulation and into the Millennial Kingdom but for all intents and purposes, Sabbath Keepers – Law Keepers – Black Hebrew Israelite cult members, observant Rabbinical Jews, have no cause to boast and due to their rejection of Yeshua as Lord, they are destined to die in sin and die in Hell lest they repent and turn to Yeshua-Jesus as Lord for the remission of sin (John 8:24).

Theological question posited on FB concerning atonement for sin provided only by grace through faith in Messiah Jesus: “Is it possible for someone to denounce that atoning blood of redemption? And what will become the final outcome of such person?”
God’s free will, infused within His angelic and human creation, mandates the option to choose God the Father and a relationship with Him by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Mediator for sin – or – reject God and serve Satan by default and die in Hell in rebellion – ultimately a cessation of all life as Hell pertains to human kind (Matthew 10:28). God the Father’s Gift of eternal life in His Kingdom through the atonement of sin earned for mankind by Jesus Christ at the Crucifixion is ONLY provided to those who repent of sin, believe in their heart – confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is God who died to pay their sin-debt and believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead for their justification leading to eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). There is no Law, no philanthropic deed, no lifestyle, no religion, no human effort, that can earn God’s Gift of eternal life – ONLY – by believing in the Son, Jesus Christ as Lord, will a man or woman find life in God’s Kingdom subsequent to the death of the body in Time (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16).

Christian response,

This Group on Facebook is inundated with Judaizers and Black Hebrew Israelite cult members. Do not allow these heretics to take away your freedom in Christ, a freedom found in grace through faith, NOT in obedience to the Law of Moses. The Christian is under grace and not under the Law of Moses and our obedience in sanctification is defined by our walk in the Spirit through the Law of Conscience NOT the letter (Romans 2:15). I am NOT suggesting that the abolition of the Law of Moses in the Covenant of Grace i.e. Christianity somehow negates the veracity of those moral laws given Moses but that Jesus Christ through His commandments in the Covenant of Grace actually enhanced the holiness of Law through the New Covenant established in His blood and by the Spirit. Jesus Christ established a higher order of holiness in the New Covenant as the conscience (thought life) of man was included as a legal element defining sin (Matthew 5:27-28). No longer does a man’s actions only define sin but the thought life of man, mens rea, also brings condemnation in the Covenant of Grace i.e. a higher standard of holiness than the Law of Moses. It is the conscience of man in tune with the Spirit that manifests obedience through the process of sanctification NOT arduous effort to obey a Law that only wars with the flesh but cannot bring conformity as the letter of the Law manifests only in guilt and condemnation and death (Romans 3).
The Law of God, concerning that given the Hebrew Tribes, has NOTHING to do with the Christian…NOTHING to do with sanctification or righteousness. The Gentiles were NEVER given the Law of Moses or the Commandments as these were given to the children of Israel in the Covenant of Law as the Hebrew Tribes were set-apart for God’s specific purposes and they were to be Holy as God is Holy. Jesus Christ, during His Earthly ministry, established new Commandments that supersede the Law of Moses as the Law of Moses was fulfilled in Messiah (Matthew 5:17) and passed away in its inferiority to the Law of Conscience through Christ and the indwelling Spirit.
False equivalence in rejection of theological truth by a Law Keeper on FB? “What Scriptures are the INSPIRED Word of God as mentioned by Paul when he wrote Timothy? [2 Timothy 3:16-17] Paul definitely wasn’t referring to his own writings. He spoke of the Writings of the LAW and PROPHETS as the INSPIRATION given by God….”
Christian response,
Are you suggesting that the New Testament is not inspired or that Paul’s words are not inspired by the Holy Spirit? Consider this, please?
Where you err is doubting the power of God in the Holy Spirit. Consider the radical importance, the Eternal significance, of the Scriptures defining the Covenant of Grace in Jesus Christ; these Scriptures literally differentiate life from death, Eternity in Christ from death in Hell. I ask you, what hope of Eternal life is found in the Hebrew text? How does a man find atonement for sin in the Law? If the blood of animals sprinkled on the mercy seat year-after-year had actually forgiven sin and made the children of Israel perfect in righteousness, would the blood not have ceased to be offered and all of Israel saved yet we understand that only a remnant of Israel will enter the Kingdom of God (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27?). Why? How do the many billions of men and women – Gentiles (non-Jews, the Nations), from Adam to Abraham to this very day, those who never had access to the Law, find atonement for sin and life with God in Eternity? Are they hopeless and destined to Hell?
Where you err is not understanding or refusing to believe that the very same omnipotent God who took elements from the unseen Spiritual World and fashioned those elements into matter that can be apprehended by life constrained by Time and physics (Hebrews 11:3, John 1, Colossians1, Genesis 1) this very same God is also fully capable of providing you and me with the EXACT words He desires we have so that we can know Him personally; love Him intimately; live with Him eternally.
How is it that you point to the majesty of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Torah, and magnify the God of Law yet deny the very same God of Grace that fulfilled that Law for you (Matthew 5:17) and offers you His perfection in righteousness for the atonement of your sin thereby opening the Door of Life to the Kingdom (John 10:9-16) by grace through faith in Yeshua-Jesus (John 3:16)? Why do you doubt that the very same Spirit who Authored the Hebrew Text has also Authored the Covenant of Grace?

Theological question posited on FB: “How can I be sure that I am in the one body since there are over 34,000 branches of the Christian faith?”
Christian response,
There are not 34,000 denominations and a denomination has NOTHING to do concerning whether or not you’re in the Body of Christ. It is the one who has sincerely repented of sin, believed in their heart and confessed with their mouth that Jesus is God who died to pay their sin-debt and that He was resurrected from the dead for their justification leading to eternal life that is in the Body of Christ (Romans 10:9-10); If you have repented of sin, sincerely believed in Jesus as your Lord, you have received the indwelling Holy Spirit as your Seal and Guarantor of relationship with God the Father, forever (Ephesians 1:13-14); therefore, you are in the Body of Christ apart from any denomination, religion, sect, cult of mankind. It is your personal relationship with God the Father by grace through faith in Jesus as your Lord and Mediator for sin and the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit in your life that makes you an integral part of Messiah’s Body, the Church; in fact, as a Spirit filled believer, you ARE the Church.

Question concerning the virgin birth of Messiah posited on FB: “Why do some people deny the virgin birth that Mary had [when a] supernatural birth is indisputable with scripture?”
Christian response,
People who deny the virgin birth of Jesus Christ don’t trust the Holy Spirit and His omnipotence in narrating and preserving the word of God down through the history of mankind (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Matthew 24:35). People who deny the virgin birth of Messiah fail to understand the significance of Messiah entering Time through the womb of a virgin woman in order to bypass the sin-nature that is transferred genetically through the man, Adam, and every father subsequent to Adam (Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 15:22).
God the Father prophesied in Genesis 3:15 that there would come One through the seed of the woman who would do battle with Satan and ultimately crush Satan’s head and Satan would bruise His heal…this was fulfilled 4000-years later at the Crucifixion where Messiah Jesus destroyed the works of the Devil i.e. DEATH – HELL – the GRAVE (Genesis 3:21; 1 John 3:8b; Galatians 4:4; Hebrews 2:14).
It is the virgin birth through the power of the Holy Spirit manifesting in the hypostatic union of God and man (Philippians 2:8) that empowered Jesus, in His humanity, to live a perfect, sinless life and fulfill the righteous requirements of the Law of Moses and the Commandments with perfection (Matthew 5:17). It is Messiah’s sinless perfection that allowed Him to become sin for us by shedding His innocent blood for the remission of sin (Matthew 26:28) and then impute His perfection over the life of everyone who believes that Jesus died for their sins and was resurrected from the dead for their justification (Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:21). It is the selfless sacrifice of Jesus Christ that moves the Father to declares those who trust in Jesus as Lord “NOT GUILTY” of sin and impart within the faithful believer the indwelling Holy Spirit as the Seal and Guarantor of relationship with God, forever (Ephesians 1:13-14; John 10:28-30).
If not for the virgin birth of Messiah, all of mankind would remain dead in their sin (John 8:24) and ultimately lose both body and soul in the second death in Hell (Matthew 10:28; Revelation 20:11-15). Faith is KEY to righteousness but Jesus’ innocent blood is essential for atonement for sin. Without atonement, there is no life in the Kingdom as God will not permit our unrepentant sin to enter His Kingdom subsequent to the death of our body in Time (Revelation 21:27)
Finally, it is Messiah’s virgin birth that permitted Him to fulfill the Law that mankind could not fulfill seeing that all of mankind is under the condemnation of sin (Romans 3:23); to violate one jot or tittle of the Law is to violate the whole Law; therefore, the Law only condemns and kills (James 2:10; Romans 3). Those who reject Messiah’s virgin birth reject the central overarching theme of the Scriptures from the Genesis to the Revelation; that is, God entered Time through the womb of a virgin and gave Himself for the redemption of His created beings and in doing so God destroyed the works of the Devil thereby setting apart a people for Himself that would serve Him in His Kingdom in faithfulness and love and relationship forever (Genesis 3:21; Revelation 1:6).
