The two-primary reasons Messiah Jesus left the Eternal Realm and entered the temporary Realm of Time…

First and foremost,

Messiah Jesus entered Time “to destroy the works of the devil” via a battle strategy known as The Gospel, a Gospel of grace, faith, initiated by Elohim’s selfless love demonstrated at Golgotha, a battle strategy that was ordained “before Time began” (1 John 3:8b; 2 Timothy 1:8-10).

Second,

In order for Messiah’s mission “to destroy the works of the Devil” to be successful, Jesus came to fulfill the law…every moral law that prevents humanity from entering the Kingdom due the Adamic curse (Romans 5:12; Matthew 5:17) thereby offering humanity the opportunity to attain victory over the Devil via imputed righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus fulfilled the law, all law, in perfection as mandated (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10) if one is to attain righteousness through law-keeping; in other words, Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves…Jesus walked in sinless perfection before the Father and the one who “believes” with a sincere heart that Jesus is Messiah who died for them will receive the sinless perfection of Jesus gifted-imputed over their life in exchange for their sin (2 Corinthians 5:21) and the Father agrees by covenant promise to declare that person “not guilty,” forever (Hebrews 8:12); this, as the Holy Spirit is gifted the redeemed as the Guarantor of New Covenant relationship with the Father (Ephesians 1:13-14).

Torah Law and the New Covenant,

Torah’s relevance, its purposes, in the Realm of Time have come and gone as Torah Law, Sinai, was given as a tool of sanctification for the Hebrew Tribes, a bulwark against moral compromise with paganism; Torah was also a divine roadmap showing the Way to life in Messiah but Torah was NEVER the destination (Galatians 3:24; 2:16).

The New Covenant offers a radically different application of law through the Spirit, the spiritual law written upon the heart arbitrated by the Spirit via the redeemed conscience (Romans 7:6); the “law of the Spirit of life” in the New Covenant is vastly and eternally superior to the “law of sin and death” (Torah).

It is the spiritual law in the New Covenant working through the redeemed conscience arbitrated by the indwelling Holy Spirit via daily sanctification that is infinitely superior to a written code mandating perfect compliance from the old sin-nature that could never comply in mandated perfection (Romans 8:1-11; Galatians 3:10; James 2:10; Romans 7:6).

It was said in a religious forum that “Holiness is not legalism; Doing what you want is not grace” and “YHVH has a standard. Yeshua died for that standard being transgressed. Those standards still apply.”

Okay, but how does humanity meet Yahweh’s “standard?”

The only human beings that will attain the righteous “standard” of Elohim; that is, perfection in word, thought and deed, is the one who believes-trusts in Yeshua as Messiah who died for them to provide sinless blood atonement for their sin and by believing in Yeshua, the redeemed by faith receive the imputed and GIFTED righteousness of Yeshua over their life in exchange for their sin (John 3; 2 Corinthians 5:21) and they are subsequently declared “not guilty” by the Father via New Covenant promise (Hebrews 8:12).

Elohim expects perfection (James 2:10) and cursed is anyone who seeks that perfection via the flesh (Galatians 3:10); this, due the Adamic sin-nature (Romans 8; Romans 5:12); therefore, there is no attainable righteousness by humanity that qualifies for Elohim’s forgiveness of sin other than the sinless perfection of Yeshua imputed into and over the life of the one who believes that Yeshua is Messiah; this, first being demonstrated by Elohim in Genesis 3:21 and fulfilled by Messiah at Golgotha with the words “It is finished” (John 19:30).

Subsequent establishing covenant relationship with the Father by grace through faith in Yeshua, the Father gifts the faithful the indwelling Holy Spirit as Guarantor of New Covenant relationship (Ephesians 1:13-14); it is the indwelling Holy Spirit who employs the redeemed conscience of the faithful (2 Corinthians 5:17) and methodically applies the spiritual law written upon the heart of humanity at conception (Romans 2:14-15); it is the Holy Spirit who methodically guides the redeemed via the spiritual law and the redeemed conscience to obey all that the Father commands; this, performed by the indwelling Holy Spirit as He produces “fruits of righteousness” against which there is no Law (Galatians 5).

Torah Law is only a definer of iniquity, an accuser of the brethren; therefore, Torah Law only provides condemnation void hope or atonement (Romans 8; Romans 3:20); whereas, the spiritual law (Romans 2:14-15) and the redeemed conscience employed by the Holy Spirit in the New Covenant are anointed and made applicable to address every moral decision, every aspect of discernment, in the daily life of the redeemed where there is peace with Elohim, forever; this, due the atoning sacrifice of Yeshua (Romans 5:1; Galatians 5:16; Colossians 1:19-20).

It is possible to strive after Torah Law an entire lifetime and die in Hell if one neglects and rejects the imputed righteousness of Yeshua available only by faith in Yeshua as Messiah (Galatians 2:16).

Christianity v. Christian Cults and Religion,

Water baptism is an act of obedience that follows salvation but water is not causative…water does not save, water does not wash away sin and if you advocate water baptism as an element of salvation you’re a cult not a Christian.

Religious cults, Christian cults, advocate for human intervention in the salvation process by adding water baptism; Sabbath observance; Commandment-keeping; the Mass; the Sacraments; communion; indulgences; dietary restrictions; tongues; traditions of men, as supplementary to the sole-sufficiency of Jesus Christ to save by faith, alone.

Religion and Cults are identified as Jesus + something = salvation.

Christian cults can also be identified by their rejection of Messiah Jesus’ Deity as Elohim, our Creator.

Christianity – Salvation is identified by Repentance-Faith in Jesus as Messiah = salvation.

Only faith in Messiah Jesus through “belief” in Him as Messiah engenders covenant with the Father (John 6:29). Water does not wash away sin, faith in Jesus as our blood atonement washes away sin…

“17 If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 20 For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you 21 who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.” 1 Peter 1 (NASB)

Legalism Deceives: Those who entered baptismal waters believing that water baptism is an essential element of salvation should reassess the validity of their New Covenant relationship with the Father!

I am astounded by the number of deceived men and women who are living the lie of legalism and worshiping a false Jesus as Messiah. If you have entered baptismal waters believing that water baptism is necessary to initiate New Covenant relationship with the Father in addition to repentance and faith in Jesus; if you entered baptismal waters believing that baptismal water is necessary to supplement the sinless blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin, you are deceived and your covenant with the Father is in question as you have believed in a non-Biblical Jesus.

Anyone who denies the sole-sufficiency of Jesus Christ to fully redeem by faith is not in covenant with the Father. Anyone who has entered baptismal waters for salvation has blasphemed the divine work of Messiah Jesus at Golgotha and should therefore reevaluate not only their warped theological understanding concerning Jesus and His all sufficient work at Golgotha but they should seriously consider seeking the Father anew and repenting of their religious, cult, fervor and sincerely “believe” and “trust” solely in Jesus of Nazareth who is Elohim, our Creator and our “I AM” and our Messiah whose sinless blood is eternally sufficient to save and redeem via the simplicity of faith apart from any intervention of sinful humanity.

If you have entered baptismal waters believing that your actions supplement the sinless blood of Jesus for your salvation from death in Hell, you are a member of a religious cult…NOT a Christian. Water baptism is commanded for those who are redeemed by faith; water baptism is not commanded as an element of salvation.

Is salvation of the Jews? John 4:22

Salvation was ordained to be of the Jews (John 4:22) as Messiah came to them specifically to proselytize them in the New Covenant’s Gospel and ordain them as ministers of the Great Commission (Matthew 15:24) but the Jews and Israelite’s rejected their Messiah, rejected the Gospel, rejected their ordination as ministers of the “Good News” of Elohim’s plan of redemption by grace through faith in Yeshua; instead, Israel conspired with Rome to murder their Messiah and demanded that His blood be upon them and their children (Matthew 27:25); therefore, Israel is under Judgment, they are blind, deaf, spiritually dead, and only a remnant will escape the second death in Hell due their rejection of Messiah to this very day (Romans 11:25; Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27). Israel failed Elohim; Israel failed Yeshua their Messiah; Israel failed the Holy Spirit and their only Hope is repentance and faith in Yeshua as Messiah.

Concerning the stubbornness, blindness, deception, of the Jew, the Israelite, the Hebrew Roots fanatic, the legalist, who incessantly insists that “commandment keeping” is the path to life and covenant…

YES, Jesus did say that if you love Him you will keep HIS commandments, but who keeps those commandments and how is this accomplished, through self-righteousness or obedience to the Holy Spirit? (John 14:15).

Simply put, you don’t understand the working of the New Covenant and how obedience to the Father’s will is manifest NOT through law keeping but obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit (Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:20; Romans 7:6).

You refuse to see the eternal superiority of the Gospel of Grace through Faith, the Gospel’s work through the redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) as opposed to the written code given Israel as Sinai, a written code that demanded obedience from an unredeemed sin-nature doomed to failure (Romans 8:1-11).

Unfortunately, and partially due the judgment on the House of Israel for unbelief and rejection of Messiah’s Gospel (Romans 11:25), you will not listen, you will not think, you will not consider anything outside the box of Sinai and Moses and self-righteousness through law.

Law of the Spirit of Life, His superiority in all things…

Those redeemed by faith in Jesus Christ as their Messiah who died for them and was resurrected for their justification leading to enteral life, these are “not under Law but under grace” (Romans 6:14). This means that the redeemed in Jesus who have approached the Father by faith-trust-belief in the Son are made “positionally right” NOT by works of the Law but by “GRACE” (a gift of imputed righteousness) through faith in Messiah’s righteousness earned for us at Golgotha (2 Corinthians 5:21). Subsequent this covenant relationship with the Father having been established by GRACE through FAITH, the indwelling Holy Spirit, given as a Guarantor of that covenant (Ephesians 1:13-14), begins a work of righteousness in the inner man of the redeemed; this work by the Spirit is done solely through the redeemed conscience; that is, the “new creation” in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) where the emphasis is NOT the written code or conformity to same but the emphasis is the producing of “fruit” and against this “fruit of the Spirit” there is no LAW or written code as all law, the Father’s perfect will, is fulfilled completely and eternally by this “fruit” in one’s life (Galatians 5; Matthew 7:15-20).

Christians don’t live their daily life pursuing a written code of laws-ordinances-mandates as given Israel but they listen attentively to the indwelling Holy Spirit working through their redeemed conscience via the “law of conscience” written upon their heart (Romans 2:14-15); this law of conscience is arbitrated by the Spirit working through the redeemed conscience and is therefore attentive to the moral decisions of the redeemed, instantaneously provides divine wisdom and guidance in EVERY MORAL DECISION MADE EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY AND NIGHT, FOREVER.

It is the instantaneous, divine intercession of the Holy Spirit working through the conscience that makes the Law of the Spirit of Life infinitely superior to the Law of Sin and Death (Romans 8:1-3) as the Law of Sin and Death is subject to a seared conscience; subject to obfuscation and compromise via the sin-nature but the Law of the Spirit works with the redeemed conscience producing fruit that actually pleases the Father, eternally.

Christians who understand their place in the Kingdom of God through covenant, a covenant established by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, weary of your constant and unrelenting insistence that the law of ordinances you worship is the path to the Father’s heart when that law is your condemnation and it will ultimately curse you to death in Hell (Romans 3:20; Galatians 3:10; James 2:10; 1 Timothy 1:9; Galatians 2:16).

Your only hope for life in the Kingdom of God is faith in Yeshua, Jesus Christ, as your Messiah (John 14:6).

Keep in Step with the Spirit

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Two Covenants – Two Divergent Applications of Law

Unfortunately, souls are daily entering Hades-Torments awaiting Judgment in spiritual ignorance as mass confusion exists relevant to the divergent application of law existing between the Covenant of Law relevant to Israel’s ancient theocracy initiated at Mt. Sinai and the New Covenant of Grace initiated through the blood of Jesus our Messiah at Mt. Golgotha (Calvary) (Matthew 26:28).

Torah Law, that which governed Israel’s relationship with Yahweh, the moral aspects of that written code, are rooted in, finds their genesis in, the Spiritual Law defined as the “Law of the Spirit of life” (Romans 8:2; Romans 2:14-15). Torah Law was provided Israel in a written format – codification, 10-Decalogue or Commandments etched in stone at Sinai, 603-Civil-Ceremonial edicts scratched upon parchment by the Hebrew prophet, Moses.

Purpose for Torah Law and Eschatology,

Torah Law was provided Israel as a bulwark against the failures of the Adamic and Noahic generations as these generations compromised themselves with the demonic via unconscionable violence and sexual perversion (Genesis 6); therefore, Elohim refused to introduce His Messiah through these demonically defiled, genomically compromised, men and women.

Elohim’s primary eschatological objective relevant to the creation of the Realm of Time, physics, matter, the human genome, is the destruction of Satan’s works, Satan’s rebellion, Satan’s defilement of the Kingdom of Elohim (1 John 3:8b); therefore, Elohim commissioned the Son (John 3:35; John 1; Hebrews 1; Colossians 1) to employ elements from the unseen Spiritual Realm (Hebrews 11:3) to create our temporary Universe as a repository for the great Kingdom War and that Spiritual War is currently playing-out in the presence of humanity for the benefit of the faithful angelic creation as this spiritual battle is partially constrained by Time and physics – a Spiritual War that manifests around us and through us, daily (Ephesians 6).

Torah Law was given Israel as Israel’s children were sanctified, set apart, specifically for Elohim’s eschatological objective of destroying the works of Satan via the Messiah via a battle strategy to be introduced as “The Gospel of Grace,” a battle strategy that was ordained “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10). Elohim’s critical eschatological plan concerning His Messiah’s introduction into the Realm of Time mandated that Israel’s children be holy as Elohim is Holy (Leviticus 19-20; 1 Peter 1:15-17). Israel’s covenants with Elohim were overwhelmingly predicated upon strict obedience to every jot and every tittle of Torah Law (Deuteronomy 28) as Messiah’s primary function in Time would be “to destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b).

Torah Law – A National standard of compliance,

Torah Law was never given as a pathway to personal righteousness or personal covenant relationship with Elohim but Torah Law governed Israel’s relationship with Elohim as a Theocracy, a Nation, and blessing and cursing at a National level was contingent upon Israel’s compliance to Torah Law, compliance in the strictness sense of the word (Deuteronomy 28).

Personal covenant relationship with Elohim concerning the individual Israelite was predicated upon “faith” in Elohim as the One true Deity, faith-belief that Elohim existed, that Elohim was Creator and Elohim was Holy and trustworthy. This abiding “faith” being the very same prerequisite to righteousness (a right standing) with Elohim relevant to both the Adamic and Noahic generations.

Again, with emphasis, Torah Law was NEVER instituted as a path to personal relationship with Elohim but Torah Law regulated the Nation of Israel’s covenant status with Elohim while “faith,” “trust,” “belief,” in Elohim as Creator engendered “personal” covenant relationship with Elohim, NOT Law.

Blood sacrifices and Torah,

Furthermore, Israel’s “blood sacrifices” mandated by Torah Law were not instituted as a path to personal righteousness with Elohim but provided a temporary “cleansing” of national sin and disobedience; a cleansing of the Temple. It is most relevant to note that individual sin-offerings by the children of Israel DID engender righteousness with Elohim, NOT in response to the blood or the animal being offered (Hebrews 10:4) but due the “faith” of the one offering the blood as this individual “trusted,” “believed,” that Elohim would forgive their sin as He had promised; again, it is the “faith” of the one offering the sacrificial animal that engendered righteousness with Elohim, not the animal or animal blood (Hebrews 10).

Torah Law and Righteousness with Elohim,

Torah Law, if one sought Torah as a path to covenant relationship with Elohim, mandated absolute perfection in observance, obedience (James 2:10), but the individual Israelite was encumbered by a sin-nature from the Adamic curse (Romans 5:12); therefore, those who sought righteousness through Torah Law lived under a curse (Galatians 3:10) in self-righteousness as Torah Law only defined the individual’s sin but provided no form of lasting atonement (Romans 3:20); therefore, Torah Law has been defined by the Holy Spirit as “the Law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2).

The New Covenant and the Gospel of Grace

With the eschatological intent of Torah Law fulfilled in combination with 400-years of virtual silence from Elohim and the addition of spurious apocryphal writings, Messiah entered the Realm of Time via the seed (ovum) of the woman (Genesis 3:15) and Messiah introduced, revealed, the Father’s New Covenant Gospel that was ordained “before Time began” as the chosen battle strategy “to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b).

Elohim’s New Covenant of Grace was NOT to be a reformed or reconstituted Old Law Covenant or a new reiteration of Torah Law but the New Covenant would be eternally unique, different, as Elohim would bring to fruition His prophecies foretold in Genesis 3:15 and Genesis 3:21 as the Messiah born of the seed of the woman would do battle with the Serpent/Satan and the strategy for victory would be Elohim, Himself, shedding innocent blood to provide sinful humanity an imputed robe of righteousness while denying the work of humanity to cover, conceal, atone, for sin; ultimately, victory would be Elohim’s alone at Golgotha yet Elohim would share the fruits of that victory with sinful humanity via the catalyst known as “grace” that would be actuated by the age-old initiator of divine covenant with the Father, “faith.” The Father’s unfathomable love and the Son’s unfathomable sacrifice for a sinful, rebellious, human kind in order to defeat death, Hell, the grave (the works of Satan), will be honored and celebrated by the faithful angelic creation eternally.

The impotence of animal blood – the eternal relevance of Messiah’s blood (Leviticus 17:11)

As mentioned earlier, Torah Law, Noahide Laws, the Code of Hammurabi, the Spiritual Law, none of these possessed the ability to initiate eternal covenant with the Father but only sincere “faith” in Elohim as Creator and Divine Provider moved the Father’s heart toward reconciliation (Hebrews 11). Elohim’s grace through faith via blood atonement, though pictured first in Genesis 3:21, also established a precedent for the forgiveness of sin via the written code as per Leviticus 17:11 stating that without the shedding of blood there is no atonement for sin but we know that the blood of animals could never take-away sin (Hebrews 10:4) though the animal for a sin-sacrifice was expected to be perfect, spotless, the best of the flock or the cream of the crop; of course, those of us with the privilege of historical evidence know that Leviticus 17:11, the animal sacrifices, the festivals, the Sabbaths, these all foreshadowed the spotless Lamb of the Father, Messiah Jesus, who would take away the sin of the World (1 Peter 1:19-20; John 1:29).

Law of the Spirit of Life,

In the New Covenant, Elohim has placed emphasis on the “law of the Spirit of life” (Romans 2:14-15; Romans 8:2) the Spiritual Law extant as an arbiter of free will subsequent the creation of the angels. The elements of Elohim’s New Covenant are “grace” (unmerited favor unattainable through human effort); “repentance:” a turning away from, a sincere sorrow for disobedience, sin; “faith-trust” in Messiah as the One who shed His innocent blood for the sins of all humanity.

Those who place their sincere faith in Jesus as Messiah are gifted-imputed the sinless perfection of Jesus over their life and consequently declared “not guilty” by the Father, forever (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 8:12); additionally, the redeemed in Jesus are gifted the indwelling Holy Spirit who takes-up residence within the faithful (Ephesians 1:13-14) and it is the Spirit that accomplishes within the redeemed that which Torah could never accomplish as Torah Law demanded perfection from the sin-nature of man, a sin-nature that could never comply in acceptable perfection (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10; Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23).

Application of “law” in the New Covenant,

In the New Covenant, a “written code” likened to that of Torah, plays a diminutive, almost irrelevant, role, as the redeemed in Jesus Christ by faith are not under the Law Covenant, a written code, the letter of law (Romans 6:14) but the Christian is methodically guided in the ways of obedience to the Father’s will via a redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) as the Holy Spirit employs both the redeemed conscience and the “law of the Spirit of life” written upon the heart at conception; the Spirit enlivens the Spiritual Law, makes that law applicable to every moral decision a Christian confronts in daily life as the Spirit motivates the production of righteous “fruit” (Galatians 5), fruit against which there is no Law (Galatians 5:22-24). Jesus did say that “you will know them by their fruit” (Matthew 7:15-20).

It is the “fruit of the Spirit” that validates one’s faith as true, legitimate, soul saving, authentic. It is faith in Messiah Jesus and sanctification through the Holy Spirit that brings peace with the Father in the New Covenant (Romans 5:1).

In conclusion,

Torah Law, its primary objectives, are eschatological in nature as Torah, the written code, was given specifically to Israel’s children and sojourner’s with them to act as a bulwark against the failures of the Adamic and Noahic generations as Elohim prepared Israel’s children as examples of blessing for obedience, cursing for disobedience (Deuteronomy 28); this, while Elohim’s eschatological objective for Messiah’s introduction into the Realm of Time would manifest in accordance with divine prophecy and order; this, “to destroy the works the of the Devil” via the chosen battle strategy “The Gospel of Grace” ordained “before Time began” (1 John 3:8b; 2 Timothy 1:8-10).

Also, Torah Law was to spiritually prepare Israel’s children as ministers of the Gospel via the “Great Commission” (Matthew 28) as Messiah would come directly to Israel’s children (Matthew 15:24) with the objective of proselytizing Israel’s children in the theological elements of “repentance, grace and faith” i.e. the “Good News” of the Father’s redemptive plan as Israel was to go into all the World and provide the lost, the blind, the hopeless, with eternal Truth and the Father’s plan of redemption through faith in His Son (John 3:16-17).

Torah Law was never a strategy for personal redemption but was National in scope and for eschatological purposes concerning Messiah and the Gospel and the Great Commission.

The New Covenant is NOT arbitrated by Torah Law or a written code but the New Covenant is arbitrated by the Father via the Holy Spirit via the theological elements of grace, repentance, faith in the Messiah as blood atonement for sin.

Torah Law, a written code, was weakened by the sin-nature and therefore subject to rationalization, obfuscation, spurious interpretation, in pursuit of narcissism but the New Covenant provides an enlivened “Spiritual Law” that works through the redeemed conscience; both the Spiritual Law written upon the heart and the redeemed conscience are arbitrated, divinely controlled, by the indwelling Holy Spirit; therefore, every moral decision, every aspect of discernment, in the Christian life is methodically addressed by the Holy Spirit’s influence and divine urging to choose holiness and righteousness via the daily process of sanctification; therefore, the Spiritual Law is eternally and internally superior to any written code or devices of men coercing obedience from the sin-nature; therefore, choose Jesus as your Messiah by faith and LIVE!

Your Salvation; Redemption of the Soul; a Divine pardon from death in Hell?

Your salvation, a divine pardon from death in Hell for sin, has absolutely NOTHING to do with Sinai or Torah or obedience, philanthropy, good works, self-righteousness. Your salvation, the initiation of soul-saving covenant with the Father, is a gift of grace (unmerited favor, a divine gift you cannot earn through human effort) through faith-trust in Jesus Christ as your Messiah believing that Jesus died for you to pay your sin-debt owed the Father…a debt you could never pay yourself.

The essential elements of salvation; that is, the process of establishing eternal New Covenant relationship with the Father are as follows,

1) Repentance – a sincere apology to the Father for your sin and your failure to live in obedience to His will for your life. A sincere desire to turn-away from a life of disobedience coupled with a sincere desire to pursue the Father’s will in all things.

2) A sincere belief, a sincere trust, that what the Father has said about His Son, Jesus Christ, is true and that you believe by faith that Jesus is Messiah who suffered, shed His innocent blood for the atonement, forgiveness, of your sin; a sincere faith acknowledging that Jesus died for you to pay a sin-debt you owe the Father, a sin-debt you could never pay yourself.

The deceit of self-righteousness,

If you could initiate covenant with the Father through Commandment-keeping, good works, philanthropy, genetics, Church attendance, baptism, Jesus would not have needed to suffer and die in your place (Galatians 2:21).

Obedience that actually pleases the Father is obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit who is gifted to everyone who enters into true New Covenant relationship with the Father; it is the indwelling Holy Spirit who is the Guarantor of New Covenant relationship with the Father, Son and Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) and it is the Holy Spirit who methodically walks the redeemed in Jesus in the daily process of sanctification where the Spirit employs the spiritual law written upon the human heart and the redeemed conscience to create the “new man or woman,” the “new creation” in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) as the Spirit produces “fruits of righteousness” in the life of the redeemed, fruit that glorifies the Father, fruit that furthers the Father’s eschatological purposes on Earth and in the Kingdom, fruit – against which there is no law (Galatians 5; Matthew 7:15-20).

Peace with the Father,

Obedience that pleases the Father is NOT enslavement to a written code, Torah Law, religion, a denomination, but obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit during sanctification as the Spirit prepares the faithful in Jesus for service in the New Jerusalem (Galatians 5:16). It is faith in Jesus, obedience to the Holy Spirit, that manifests in enduring “peace” with the Father (Romans 5:1).

Initiating New Covenant with the Father; Obedience in the New Covenant of Grace…

If one seeks obedience that actually pleases the Father, they will first obey the Father’s will and “believe in the One He has sent into the World” to provide blood atonement for sin as per the mandates of Leviticus 17:11 (John 6:29); second, they will receive the imputed – gifted righteousness of Jesus over their life, a righteousness earned for them by Messiah’s perfect obedience to the Law (2 Corinthians 5:21) and having received this imputed righteousness, the redeemed in Messiah will be declared “not guilty” by New Covenant promise (Ephesians 1:13-14; Hebrews 8:12); then, the redeemed in Jesus will begin the daily process of sanctification where the indwelling Holy Spirit, gifted the faithful in Jesus as Guarantor of Covenant with the Father (Ephesians 1:13-14), employs the redeemed conscience (2 Corinthians 5:17) in combination with the spiritual law that is written upon the heart of humanity at conception (Romans 2:14-15) and the Spirit will methodically produce fruits of obedience against which there is no Law (Galatians 5:22-23).

Obedience in the New Covenant that honors the Father is obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit during sanctification that “follows” salvation. All works of “righteousness” prior to establishing covenant with the Father by faith in Messiah Jesus, these works are interpreted by the Father as a “filthy rag”…in the actual Hebrew “a bloody menstrual cloth” (Isaiah 64:6). Concerning works of obedience in the New Covenant, only those works done by the power, influence, inspiration, of the Holy Spirit will endure the BEMA Judgment (1 Corinthians 3:10-15).

In closing,

Christians don’t pursue letters or laws or days or diets to please the Father in the New Covenant, but the Christian walks by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16) in forgiveness and a Christian honors the Father through obedience to the Spirit who prepares them, daily, for service in the New Jerusalem; this is accomplished through the redeemed conscience, not enslavement to letters or laws etched in stone or scratched upon parchment (Galatians 2:16); in this, there is peace with the Father, forever (Romans 5:1).
