Are God’s Laws done away with?

No. God’s moral law of conscience (Romans 2:14-15) has been extant from the creation of the angels as an arbiter of free will and that same law was infused within the human genome by Elohim on the 6th-Day as humanity was created in the spiritual image of Elohim having received certain communicable attributes from our Creator for His eschatological purposes; therefore, the moral law of God, the natural law infused within us at conception, will never pass away and will be relevant in Eternity, the Kingdom of God, where free will remains extant by necessity.

Pervasive confusion regarding “law” and its relevance…

The confusion that exists concerning “Is God’s laws done away with” is mankind’s refusal to come to grips with vanity, self-righteousness via law-keeping v. grace through faith (Hebrews 11). The law given Israel at Sinai etched in stone, nine of the ten Decalogue, are nothing new or novel but find their foundation in the moral law of conscience, the same law that judged Satan of covetousness and judged the Adamic and Noahic generations of defilement where all but eight perished in water by the judgment of God; this same moral law of conscience will be applicable for adjudication at the Judgment of the Condemned manifesting subsequent Messiah’s Millennial Reign (Revelation 20:10-15).

Legalists-cults-sects-Jews-Israelite’s-religions have, for millennia, rejected the simplicity of righteousness (a right standing with Elohim) by grace (a gift – unmerited favor) through faith-trusting in Elohim as Creator and opted to pursue self-righteousness by works, law-keeping, earning their righteousness with God through what they perceive as pleasing God through human effort.

As proclaimed by the Holy Spirit, the moral law of God, God’s words, will never pass away (Matthew 24:35) but that law must be interpreted and understood in accordance with its purpose and objective; that is, as a tutor (Galatians 3:24), a teacher, a definer of sin (Romans 3:20), that points human kind to our need for an Intercessor, a Messiah, one possessing the divine capacity and ability to keep the law in perfection as mandated (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10) and subsequently impute (gift) His righteousness into our lives by faith thereby receiving redemption from sin and reconciliation with the Father by faith in the One who performed the work for us and receive the benefits of covenant promise (Genesis 3:21; Romans 8:1-2; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 8:12); otherwise, the law, created for the lawless (1 Timothy 1:9), condemns us void atonement and we then pursue, in futility, righteousness by vanity which offends the Father and condemns mind, body, soul, in Hell (Romans 3:20; Galatians 3:10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16).

Conclusion of the matter?

The Father has provided One-Way to acquire righteousness (a right standing) and reconciliation with Him; that is, faith in the One He has sent into the World to provide blood atonement for the condemnation of sin; that is, Jesus Christ our Lord (John 6:29; John 3:16; Acts 4:12). Through grace and faith, Elohim has defeated the Evil One through the selfless love of the Son displayed at Golgotha (1 John 3:8b) and we are partakers of that victory when we completely trust and believe in Jesus as our Messiah who died for us (John 14:6; Romans 8:31-39). Our Law in the New Covenant is the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) who enlivens the moral law of conscience within the redeemed in Jesus via the new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and walks them in obedience via the conscience, not letters (2 Corinthians 3:6; Galatians 5:16).

Faith v. Works; Righteousness v. Self-Righteousness…

Faith, apart from works, is the KEY to the Father’s heart and the initiation of covenant relationship through Jesus Christ as our Lord. Once saving faith, apart from works, has initiated covenant relationship and the redeemed in Jesus receive the indwelling Holy Spirit as Guarantor of that covenant relationship, works of obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit’s guidance becomes natural or a defining characteristic of the one born again as Jesus said you will know them by their works (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 11:6; Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 5:16; Romans 7:15-20).

No one can “work” them self to God the Father as our works of self-righteousness before salvation are considered as a “filthy garment” in the nose of God; actually, the Hebrew defines self-righteous works as a “bloody menstrual cloth” (Isaiah 64:6).

We are saved by grace (unmerited favor unattainable through human effort – a gift) through faith (believing-trusting) in Jesus as our Lord who died for us, alone; then, our works of obedience are a natural outflow of our salvation through the indwelling Spirit via the conscience via the daily process of sanctification. It is the one who believes on Him that justifies by faith that is saved and not the one who works for their salvation through acts of self-righteousness (Galatians 2:16).

How can Israel’s children be “guilty” of Messiah’s murder if the Crucifixion was prophesied hundreds if not thousands of years earlier?

Messiah’s death, the shedding of innocent blood as atonement for sin, has been a reality subsequent Genesis 3:21 but the Father did not ordain Messiah’s death through His “chosen” people, Israel, but only that Messiah would die for the sins of the World. Israel’s children “chose” to be the cursed people of Messiah’s death as Yahweh could have easily used Pilate and the Roman law to bring about the Crucifixion of Messiah via the charge of subversion or sedition but Israel chose to murder the Messiah sent to them, a Messiah foreshadowed through types and prophecy throughout the Hebrew Scriptures. There is life through forgiveness of sin for every child of Jacob who acknowledges their sin, repents, and fully trusts in Yeshua as their Messiah who died for them.

Why is Liberalism-Progressivism the antithesis of sustainable mores, norms, values, necessary for America’s Constitutional Republic?

The American experiment of a Constitutional Republic constructed by the people for the people necessitated a religious and moral people for its success. America’s Founder’s relied solely upon an overwhelming majority of the populous having been “born again” and redeemed by faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and subsequently receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit as a personal Tutor, Guide, Wisdom, Counselor, via the conscience via the daily process of sanctification. What is the TRUTH concerning Atheism and Darwinism?
