Questioning the Plan and Purpose of Jesus Christ: “A God (John 1:1) killed by men (Matthew 26:3-4) – What’s the meaning of all this?”

Christian response, (I will be succinct and explain only the peripheral for the sake of time)

Our entire creation in Time is the result of a horrific war initiated by a rebellious, covetous, cherub angel in the Kingdom of God before the beginning of Time; in fact, our entire creation is the resultant of this rebellion as God the Father commissioned the Son, Jesus Christ, to create this Earth as a repository for the evil-sin that entered His Kingdom and immediately mandated extrication; therefore, that evil and its Initiator were placed upon this Earth and partially constrained by Time and physics to be dealt with apart from the Kingdom were nothing impure is permitted to exist (Rev. 21:27).

Transpiring all around us (spiritual and physical) is a cosmic war between good v. evil and the Son of God, Jesus Christ, entered Time specifically “to destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b) via the Gospel (a battle strategy) that was ordained “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 1:9-10). Elohim made a declaration of war in Genesis 3:15 between the Son of God born of the virgin seed and the Evil One we now know as the Serpent or the Devil or Satan. Elohim’s battle strategy to defeat Satan and sin was first pictured in Genesis 3:21 demonstrating the shedding of innocent blood in order that the sin of Adam and his wife, Eve, could be atoned for, covered by a robe of righteousness, taken from innocent blood and that robe (pictured as animal skins) placed over Adam and Eve to cover their shame and embarrassment; Elohim rejected the fig leaves that Adam and Eve sewed together to cover their shame and sin as our God pointed to the eternal truth that He Himself would be the sacrifice for sin and He Himself would provide mankind forgiveness of sin through selfless love and compassion and grace offered to everyone willing to believe that the Son, Jesus Christ, is God who died for them (John 3:15). Elohim thus declared that the works of man’s hands would never be sufficient to cover his own sin but God Himself would do the work of atonement (Ephesians 2:8-9; Matthew 26:28).

The prophecies established by Elohim in Genesis 3:15 and Genesis 3:21 were ultimately fulfilled by Jesus Christ 4000-years later on Mount Golgotha outside the gates of the Old City, Jerusalem, as the innocent blood of Jesus spilled into the sands below His cross and God the Father pointed to that blood and declared Messiah’s blood as the ONLY acceptable atonement for your sin and my sin as God the Father made His sinless Son to be sin for you and for me so that we could receive Messiah Jesus’ righteousness/perfection (robe of righteousness Gen. 3:21) over our lives and receive the perfection of Jesus to cover and forgive our sin, forever; thereby, being declared “not guilty” by the Father and receive justification for entrance into the Kingdom of God subsequent to the death of our body in Time (2 Corinthians 5:21). You and I are players, participants, in the war between our God and the Evil One and each of us is provided the opportunity to ally with God the Father by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and find eternal life in His Name – or – we can ally with the Evil One and reject the suffering of Jesus for our sin and ultimately suffer a fate similar to Satan’s in Hell as sin that has not been covered-forgiven by the blood of Messiah will NOT be permitted to enter the Kingdom of God (Revelation 21:27).

In conclusion,

The primary reason God the Father has gone to such great lengths to destroy Satan’s works through God’s own selfless love is due to God’s desire for intimacy and relationship with His created beings. God the Father ensured that volitional love with His angelic creation would be maintained and strengthened through the creation of matter, Time, human kind, as God has demonstrated His selfless love and compassion through the Cross while simultaneously demonstrating the horrors of sin, rebellion, and the necessity for obedience to God’s will in all things. Additionally, the horrors and unconscionable suffering caused by Satan and the fallen angels over the previous 6000-years of human history will act as a bulwark against any future rebellion in God’s Kingdom as individual free will for the occupants of that Kingdom will remain paramount so that relationship and intimacy with God can manifest with purity and authenticity, forever.

Law Keeper, Sabbatarian and Legalist mocks Christianity as Satan’s counterfeit: “Ironically people think that God pays attention to those that think they can do whatever they want, yet pray to God when convenient or when they are in a bind or dying. They break the laws, don’t keep the Sabbath. Break the Statutes and never keep His holy days nor the Feast.”

The Law Keeper, SDA Legalist and the Rabbinical Jew, the child of Jacob, who boasts of their self-perceived superiority in the Covenant of Law fails to understand that the Law they are enslaved to only condemns them void atonement (Romans 3:20; Galatians 3:10; Galatians 2:16; James 2:10; Deuteronomy 27:26). Christianity is NOT lawlessness; in fact, the New Covenant established in Messiah’s blood (Matthew 26:28) is more demanding concerning holiness and eschewing sin than the Covenant of Law provided through Moses as Messiah infused “mens rea” or the “thought life” into the New Covenant. No longer is one judged simply by their actions but the mere thought of the act is sin in the New Covenant and therefore culpable before God (Matthew 5:27-28; Matthew 5:21).

Christians in the New Covenant are not governed by a Law etched in stone or scratched upon parchment that only defined sin void atonement, but the Law of God has been written upon our heart in the New Covenant (Hebrews 10; Jeremiah 31) and that Law is administered by the Spirit (Romans 7:6) who methodically and meticulously walks the Christian through a life of obedience via sanctification as the Christian is prepared for service in the New Jerusalem (Acts 1:8; John 14:26; John 14:16; 1 John 2:27; John 16:13).

There is NO LIFE in the Torah; there is no life in the Covenant of Law; there is no life in the Koran; the only Way to life in the Kingdom of God is through the repentance of sin (Luke 13:1-5) and sincerely believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is God who died to pay your sin-debt; Jesus as Lord is the ONLY WAY to the Father and His Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness (John 3:16-18; John 14:6). The Letter Kills; Jesus saves!

An attempt to negate the deity of Jesus Christ: “James 1:13 said that God cannot be tempted. Matthew 4:1 said that Jesus was tempted. There are two separate entities here. One of them cannot be tempted while one of them can. The first is God while the other is not.”

Christian response,

God the Father is God; Jesus Christ is God; the Holy Spirit is God; these Three are One-God in essence and Three-separate Persons in personality, individual will, purpose-function in Time and Eternity. Jesus is God and in His flesh He was tempted by the Devil (Matthew 4:1-11) but this does not mean Jesus relented to that temptation. Jesus was and is victorious over the Devil.

God cannot be tempted by evil but Jesus entered Time as God in flesh through the hypostatic union (Philippians 2:6-8) and Jesus experienced life in the flesh; Jesus suffered physiologically and emotionally, He felt agony, pain, sorrow, loss, anger, while simultaneously modeling perfect obedience to the Father and the Law of God.

Jesus expects NOTHING of us that He Himself did not confront, challenge and conquer. Jesus is God who entered Time “to destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b) via the Gospel that was ordained “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 2:9-10) and if you deny Him as your God who died to pay your sin-debt, you will NOT enter the Kingdom of God subsequent to the death of your body in Time (John 8:24).

Questioning God’s compassion: “How can God sit and watch Humanity suffer? He watched His Sinless Son suffer. Matt.27:46”

Unbeknownst to many, our entire creation is the resultant of an unfathomable rebellion, a war, a coup d’état, that manifest in the Kingdom of God before the creation of Time. You and I are players within a cosmic struggle between good v. evil that has been removed from the Kingdom of God and placed upon this Earth and partially constrained by Time and physics (Genesis 3:15; 1 John 3:8b). As opposed to asking why God could allow so much suffering, if you truly knew the extent of evil that inundates our World, both in the physical and spiritual, you would ask how it is that any sense of peace is possible? Jesus Christ entered Time to obtain victory by destroying the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8b) and we are participatory warriors in that struggle as declared in Genesis 3:15. Though Jesus defeated Satan, death, Hell, the grave, at Golgotha, the spiritual war continues for the souls of men and women, daily; hence, physiological and emotional and spiritual suffering and strife.

We are warriors in this fight between good v. evil whether or not one realizes it or desires it and you and I have been placed here at this particular juncture in Time for a specific reason. You have the option to ally with God by grace through faith in the Son, Jesus Christ, as your King and ultimately find victory in Time and Eternity in His Name – or – you can reject Jesus as Lord and lose both body and soul in Hell in servitude to Satan by default; these are your only two-options. Jesus said that the faithful who endure to the end will be saved relevant to those who face the coming Tribulation era. It would be worth your time to investigate what I have told you and come to an understanding of the reality of the World you live in and the options that confront you daily. Evil and suffering will grow worse and worse until the King of Peace returns and initiates His Millennial Kingdom in Jerusalem, Israel subsequent to the Tribulation era.

Scoffing at the Biblical doctrine of “original sin.” “The Big Lie! It’s not your fault, Augustine. You inherited Adam’s sin. God knows it passes from father to child in everyone. Yet He condemns you anyway. I told you he was unjust. But, it’s OK now, He punished someone else for it in your place. Trust me.”

For all intents and purposes, original sin finds its origin in the Kingdom of God before the creation of Time and that sin and its Initiator is causation for the creation of matter, Time, the Universe, this Earth, our human genome, as that sin and Offender were extricated from the Kingdom and placed upon this Earth to be dealt with partially constrained by Time and physics; in fact, the primary reason Jesus Christ left the Eternal Realm and entered the Realm of Time was “to destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b) via the Gospel that was ordained “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 1:9-10).

Concerning “original sin” as it relates to Adam and human kind,

The sin-nature, mankind’s natural propensity to reject God’s authority, passes through the seed of the first man, Adam, as Elohim held Adam to greater culpability for Eden in accordance with federal headship and the truism that Adam had received the edict to eschew evil directly from Elohim; whereas, Eve received the directive by hearsay; that is, from her husband, Adam. It is Adam’s seed that infects all of mankind with a corrupted genome, a sin-nature that naturally seeks rebellion to God’s will and His righteousness.

It is written,

11 Not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. 12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:11-12

This is why Messiah, who entered Time to destroy the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8b), was born of the virgin seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15; Matthew 1:26) through the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35) as this virgin birth permitted the hypostatic union of God and man in flesh (Philippians 2:6-8); it is the hypostatic union that permitted Messiah to exist in Time in sinlessness and fulfill the righteous requirements of the Decalogue and 613-Levitical Laws in absolute perfection thereby becoming the only acceptable atonement for sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). The Covenant of Law demanded perfection in order to attain righteousness through it but mankind’s sin-nature resulted in the Law becoming a curse and condemnation void atonement (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10; Romans 8:3; Romans 3:20); therefore, Jesus kept the Law for us in perfection and defeated death, Hell and the grave at Golgotha. The Gospel of Jesus Christ, ordained before the beginning of Time (2 Timothy 1:9-10), is the Plan of God by which Satan has been defeated through God’s selfless love demonstrated at Golgotha and first pictured in Scripture in Genesis 3:21 and fulfilled 4000-years later at the Crucifixion with the words “It is finished” (John 19:30).

Without the virgin birth of Messiah and the hypostatic union resulting from same, mankind would be destined to death in Hell without hope (John 3:16-18) because Messiah Jesus is the only Way to redemption/forgiveness of sin by faith and Jesus is the only Way to the Father in Eternity (John 14:6); this forgiveness of sin through the blood atonement was essential as God the Father has ordained that “nothing impure” will ever enter His Kingdom (Revelation 21:27).

Concerning original sin and children,

Infants are born into sin through their father’s seed through Adam’s seed (Psalm 51:5) but children are not held accountable or culpable for that sin until such time they attain an age of reason sufficient to discern God’s natural law through the conscience (Romans 2:15). Where there is no law, there is no sin (Romans 4:15; 5:13).

It is written concerning Jesus and children,

13 Then the little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 15 And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.… Matthew 19:13-15 (Berean Study Bible)

Jewish error proclaimed: “The interesting thing about Jeremiah 31, the renewed covenant can’t occur until christianity and the new testament are no more!! Christianity must end and there is NO more desire or need for the fictional character called jesus, then;…”

Christianity IS the New Covenant (Matthew 26:28). The New Covenant was to be bestowed upon the children of Jacob through Messiah (Jeremiah 31; Ezekiel 36:27) who came to the lost sheep of Israel (Matthew 15:24); unfortunately, the Jews rejected Messiah, rejected His deity; rejected His Gospel message; falsely accused Him of blasphemy; betrayed Him to the Roman authorities (John 18:36); had Him scourged almost to death; then, demanded that His blood be upon them (the Jews) and their children (Matthew 27:25); then, the Jews had Messiah murdered upon a tree where He suffocated and bled to death; therefore, God the Father initiated the New Covenant Church at Pentecost and the Gospel was ultimately taken from Jacob’s children and given to the Gentiles until such time the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; meanwhile, a partial hardening has manifest over Israel (Romans 11:25); Jacob’s children have a veil placed over their mind (2 Corinthians 3:14-15) and the children of Jacob are under God’s wrath and judgment; for this reason, only a remnant of Israel will be saved and that remnant in the last days (Isaiah 10:22; Romans 9:27).

This entire scenario has given-way to the fulfillment of Hosea 2:23; Romans 9:24-26 and the Gentile Christian inclusion into God’s eschatological plan for human kind. If you are waiting for the New Covenant you will die in your sin and not enter the Kingdom of God as Yeshua IS your Messiah and the New Covenant was established in His blood 2000-years ago and ordained “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 1:9-10); therefore, if you deny Jesus Christ-Yeshua as your Messiah for the atonement of your sins, you will die in sin and not be named among the remnant (John 8:24).

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Faith and trust in my Lord are not a work as my Lord has done the work for me at the Cross. When I believe in Him as my Lord, I am simply acknowledging my inability to save myself and placing complete reliance upon what Jesus did for me, nothing else, no one else. Jesus tells me that this is the KEY to the Father’s heart, “believing” in what the Son has done by shedding His innocent blood for the redemption of my sin thereby making me “positionally right” by receiving the imputation of Jesus’ righteousness into and over my life (John 6:29; 2 Corinthians 5:21). There is NOTHING I can do in and of myself to initiate the imputation of Messiah’s righteousness other than “believe” (John 3:16-18). It is that belief that initiates the Covenant of Grace in my life and the Gift of the Holy Spirit who takes up residence within me as the Guarantor of relationship with the Father, forever (Ephesians 1:13-14).

There is no work on my behalf that I can undertake to initiate the salvation process but to repent of my sin, agree with God that I’m a sinner in need of forgiveness and believe Jesus died for me to pay my sin-debt (John 3:16-18).

Once I have been redeemed and sealed by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit then begins a work of obedience within me and daily walks me in the process of sanctification where I am incrementally transformed into the spiritual image of Jesus Christ concerning a pursuit of obedience to God’s will; this process of sanctification is necessary as the Holy Spirit prepares me for service in the New Jerusalem. It is important to note at this juncture that all of my works, efforts, philanthropy, to attain God’s favor are as a bloody, filthy, menstrual cloth, in the nose of God until such time I have entered into relationship with the Father by grace through faith in Jesus as my Lord (Isaiah 64:6).

My obedience to my Lord’s will SUBSEQUENT to having been redeemed by grace (a gift that cannot be earned) through faith (trusting-believing) in Jesus as my Lord, my obedience to God’s will is then accounted to me as substantiation-validation that my faith is true and my confession authentic. Baptism following redemption/salvation is one such “work” of obedience as it is an outward manifestation of what has already manifest in my life and in my heart in response to my confession, my belief. Baptism, nor any other work, saves me but only validates and substantiates outwardly what has manifest inwardly by grace through faith.

If one has received the Holy Spirit through confession of Jesus as Lord, they are SEALED, GUARANTEED salvation at that point via Covenant. There is NOTHING else that can be done to seal and provide salvation from that point forward…the process is complete. It is by “believing” in Jesus as Lord that one receives the Gift and Guarantee of the Spirit…not by any work including water baptism. Water Baptism following our confession of Jesus as Lord is commanded by Messiah, but baptismal waters do not provide atonement, salvation, redemption, justification.

Jesus said,

“16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 18 Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

Confusion INRE to women speaking in Church (an explanation follows): “In John 14:15, Jesus said that ANY Christian that claims he/she loves Jesus, let him/her OBEY the commandments. Why are Christians then NOT obeying the commandment in 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 below… 👇❓

1 Corinthians 14:34-35 KJV

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.”

I believe the context of this particular verse in Corinthians is the response Paul made to the paganism from the Delphic Temple adjacent to Corinth that had filtered into the Corinthian Church. Corinth was allegedly a hotbed of sexual perversion and paganism and the “unknown tongue” (intoxicated gibberish) uttered by the pagan Priestess at the Temple in Delphi providing oracles of enlightenment apparently offered much confusion for the attendees at the Corinthian Church; therefore, Paul was forced to deal with the prevailing disorderly conduct.

It is believed that certain women in the Church mimicked the prophetic oracles, the pagan behavior, of the Delphic priestess, perhaps interrupting services through prophetic utterances and creating dissension among the membership; in response, Paul most likely gave the command that Corinthian women remain silent during Church services. I do believe it’s important to understand Paul’s edict concerning women in the Corinthian Church in this context and not extrapolate said edict to all Churches throughout all times.

Questioning God’s motives and integrity: “Is it compassionate for a father to surrender his son to crucifixion without committing a sin or a crime that deserves this punishment? How can his creation trust in him if he sacrificed the righteous innocent in order to forgive the sin of another sinner? And if the crucifixion and redemption were to forgive the sin of Adam and Eve – how would he atone for Satan’s sin?”

God the Father’s offering of His Son, Jesus Christ, for the atonement of our sin is the greatest act of compassion and selfless love that Eternity has ever witnessed. Jesus walked to the Cross in obedience, fully capable of rejecting the horror but chose to do so out of love for the Father and necessity of mankind’s redemption from sin; a victory over the Devil, sin, death, Hell and the grave. Please allow me to explain…

Time and length of comment prevents me from explaining in detail why God the Father has done what He has done; suffice to say that our entire creation in Time is in response to an unfathomable coup d’état that manifest in the Kingdom of God before the beginning of Time and the potential destruction of that sin mandated extrication at which time the Father commissioned the Son to create matter, Time, this Universe, our Earth as a repository for that rebellion and place same upon this Earth to be dealt with partially constrained by Time and physics (John 3:35; John 1; Hebrews 1; Colossians 1; Hebrews 11:3; 1 John 3:8b).

The entire focus of God’s Plan within the Realm of Time is centered on dealing with Satan’s rebellion, the angels that followed him in that rebellion, while simultaneously maintaining volitional love with the faithful angelic creation remaining in the Kingdom who are observing the evil of their former boss, Lucifer, and God’s selfless love in dealing with this rebellious cherub angel. The primary reason Jesus, who is God, left the Eternal Realm and entered the Realm of Time was “to destroy the works of the Devil” (1 John 3:8b) and God the Father ordained the Gospel of Jesus Christ “before the beginning of Time” (2 Timothy 1:9-10) to deal with the rebellious angels and the destructiveness of sin. Our entire creation within Time has manifest in response to Satan’s sin in the Kingdom as nothing impure is permitted to exist in God’s Kingdom (Rev. 21:27).

Elohim provides the blueprint for us concerning how He has chosen to destroy the works of the devil through selfless love beginning in Genesis 3:15 where a war between the coming Messiah born of the seed of the virgin woman is to do battle with the Devil and the Son will be victorious. Immediately following, Elohim provides a word picture in Genesis 3:21 of His battle strategy to defeat the Devil through the shedding of innocent blood and covering the sin of mankind with a “robe of righteousness” provided by God Himself while God demonstrates that mankind will be unable to atone for sin by the works of his hands as demonstrated by the fig leaves. These two-prophecies, Genesis 3:15; 3:21, were fulfilled 4000-years later at Golgotha with the words “It is finished” (John 19:30). 

In the third-chapter of Genesis, Elohim provides His entire Plan for dealing with a rebellion having manifest in the Kingdom and Elohim demonstrates that He Himself will defeat Satan through unfathomable selfless love through Messiah Jesus. Jesus is God manifest in Time through the hypostatic union of God and man (Philippians 2:6-9) through the virgin seed that permitted Messiah Jesus to circumvent the sin-nature passed through the seed of Adam (Romans 5:12). Jesus lived a righteous, sinless, life upon this Earth by keeping the Commandments and the 613-Levitical Laws in absolute perfection; something that no human being born of Adam’s seed could accomplish (John 8:46; Matthew 5:17; Romans 3:23).

Jesus’ perfection qualified Him as the only acceptable sacrifice for sin and Jesus willingly walked to the horrors of the Crucifixion for your benefit and my benefit as Jesus shed His innocent blood to destroy the works of the Devil i.e., death, Hell, the grave, for everyone who believes in Him as God and Mediator for their sins (John 3:16-18; Romans 10:9-10). God the Father has decreed by a New Covenant of Grace that anyone who believes in what Jesus did at the Cross; that is, dying for the forgiveness, atonement, for sin…that the person so believing will be forgiven of sin, past-present-future, and declared “not guilty” before the Father and they will receive the perfection, righteousness, of Jesus Christ imputed into and over their life, forever, and the redeemed will receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit who will indwell them and carefully teach them God’s Laws as written upon their heart (Jeremiah 31; Hebrews 10) and methodically walk them in the daily process of sanctification as the Spirit prepares them for service in God’s coming Kingdom, the New Jerusalem (2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:13-14; John 14:16).

For these reasons, you can fully trust in God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, that their work on your behalf has been done with selfless love for cause and your life has purpose, meaning, in both Time and Eternity. Trust in Jesus Christ, alone, and LIVE (John 14:6).
