No one with commonsense, let alone a basic knowledge and understanding of Theology, would suggest law has “been done away with.” Law is eternal as same is an arbiter of the conscience concerning sustainable, moral, behavior as that conscience functions under the parameters of “free will” by necessity.
Where Hebrew Roots parishioners suffer is a misunderstanding or refusal to accept how “law” is honored by the redeemed in Jesus via the New Covenant. Those who have trusted in Jesus as Messiah are not under letters, laws, diets, days, traditions, of the Old Covenant (Romans 6:14); those in the New Covenant honor the Father’s will through the production of divine fruit (Galatians 5:16-23) that is produced via the anointing of the indwelling Holy Spirit through the redeemed conscience of the faithful in Jesus (Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8; Romans 7:6). These don’t live life contemplating Torah, Moses, letters, feasts, diets, Sabbaths, that only condemned void hope but their focus is the Holy Spirit and obedience is the production of fruit that honors the Father and proves one to be a disciple of Jesus (Romans 7:6; John 15:8).
