Hebrew Roots: A cult of self righteousness?
The Decalogue was never given to the Gentile and no Gentile is documented as having observed Torah Law or a Sabbath (Genesis or the Decalogue Sabbath) lest same sought refuge under Israel’s theocracy.
There exists no scriptural instructions or command concerning how the Genesis Sabbath was to be observed nor is there one single documentation of anyone from the Adamic or Noahic generations observing a Sabbath until subsequent Exodus 16.
Hebrew Roots is, for all intents and purposes, a works cult that captures the heart and mind of the well intentioned and traps them in the age old heresy of Israel’s self righteousness through Torah observance to the exclusion of or dilution of the sufficiency of faith, alone, in Messiah as atonement for sin. This is the broad road to the second death in Hell due servitude to a false, impotent, Messiah.
Romans 10, Concerning Israel’s children,
10 “Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation. 2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge. 3 For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the [a]end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”
