Torah written upon the human heart?
Torah is but a mere fragment of the comprehensive “spiritual law” that has been relevant subsequent Day-6. Torah’s Decalogue was given to a chosen people group who were foreordained to journey to the Promised Land given Abraham by Elohim. This Decalogue codified specific laws that would act as a bulwark against compromise with paganism, pagan gods, during the arduous journey.
The spiritual law was relevant thousands of years prior to the Decalogue and Moses’ iteration of civil law.
The spiritual law, written upon the human heart on Day-6 (Romans 2:14-15), was enlivened in the New Covenant through the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit given to all who have entered into New Covenant relationship with the Father through “belief,” faith, in Jesus as their Messiah (Ephesians 1:13-14).
It is the indwelling Holy Spirit, His anointing, that guides the redeemed in Jesus via daily Christian sanctification to honor all law, codified and spiritual, as the Spirit produces divine fruit through the redeemed, divine fruit that fulfills all commandments of a moral nature, divine fruit that pleases the Father, divine fruit that proves one to be a disciple of Jesus (Galatians 5:16-23; John 15:8).
Letters/laws are NOT the objective in the New Covenant (Romans 7:6), divine fruit produced via the anointing of the indwelling Holy Spirit is the obedience that Torah could never produce as it was weakened by the sin-nature (Galatians 5:16-23; Romans 8).
