Why the Moral Law of Conscience is INFINITELY superior to the Law Covenant and Torah Law…

First, for clarification, Torah Law is NOTHING new or novel as nine-of-the-ten Decalogue are simply a reiteration of the Moral Law of Conscience with added specificity relevant to Elohim’s eschatological plans through the Hebrew Tribes as these Tribes were surrounded, inundated, by paganism serving pagan gods continually seeking Israel’s compromise. The Hebrew Tribes were set-apart as Elohim’s example to the World concerning blessings for obedience, cursing and death for disobedience (Deuteronomy 28) and the moral aspects of Torah Law defined sin (a violation of the Moral Law of Conscience) while the civil-ceremonial edicts conformed the Tribes to Elohim’s providential design for eschatological purposes. Torah Law was relevant only to a very minuscule segment of the Earth’s total population. The Moral Law of Conscience provided the foundation for Torah Law and other forms of oral and written law such as the Code of Hammurabi.

The Moral Law of Conscience, discussed by the Holy Spirit in Romans 1:18-32 and Romans 2:14-15, has been extant from the creation of the angels as an arbiter of free will. It is the Moral Law of Conscience that Elohim infused into the human genome as a communicable attribute in Genesis 1:26-28 as Elohim created mankind in His spiritual image. It is this same Moral Law of Conscience that judged Satan of covetousness; judged the Adamic and Noahic generations of defilement where all but eight were destroyed by water in judgment subsequent the due process proclamation via the preaching of Noah. It is the Moral Law of Conscience arbitrated by the Holy Spirit that acts as a bulwark against complete population annihilation in unrestrained narcissism (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7). It is the Moral Law of Conscience that will under gird our Creator’s Justice in Judgment with due process subsequent the Millennial Reign of Messiah Jesus (Revelation 20:11-15).

Why is the Moral Law of Conscience infinitely superior to Torah Law?

Torah Law in the Covenant of Law only defined the sin and culpability of the Hebrew Tribes but offered them no form of atonement for sin leading to eternal life (Romans 3:20; Romans 8; Galatians 2:16). Torah Law mandated absolute perfection for the acquisition of righteousness (Deuteronomy 27:26; James 2:10); therefore, due to the sin-nature of man (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12), Torah Law cursed all who sought righteousness through it (Deuteronomy 27:26; Galatians 3:10).

Torah Law was doomed to failure (Romans 8: Hebrews 8:7-13) because the sin-nature of man was striving to attain obedience to a Law scratched upon parchment and etched in cold, unyielding stone, righteousness through obedience that was unattainable and out of reach as the sinful flesh could never please Elohim due to its corruption and genomic curse initiated by Adam’s rejection of Elohim’s sovereignty (Romans 5:12); fortunately, Elohim did not leave His human creation without hope but “before Time began” (2 Timothy 1:8-10), Elohim ordained the Gospel of Grace, first pictured in Genesis 3:21, to be administered by the Son, Jesus Christ, and initiated in the sinless blood of the Son at Golgotha (Matthew 26:28).

The New Covenant (Ezekiel 36:27; Jeremiah 31:33) promises that anyone who believes that Messiah Jesus is Lord and that Jesus died to pay their sin-debt would enter into covenant relationship with the Father and receive the indwelling Holy Spirit as the Guarantor of that covenant (John 3; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 1:13-14); in addition, the redeemed by faith in Jesus would receive a “new nature” to war against the old sin nature and become a “new creation” via the rebirth or having been ”born again” by the Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17; John 3).

Superiority of the Moral Law of Conscience,

In the New Covenant, no longer is the sin-nature striving to attain righteousness and please Elohim in futility as it was impossible for the sin-nature and its repeated failures concerning obedience to keep a Law that mandated perfection, but in the New Covenant, the redeemed in Jesus receive the imputed perfection/righteousness of Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21) and are privy to a spiritual catalyst; that is, the combination of the new nature, the new creation in Jesus seeking obedience to the Moral Law of Conscience as administered by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16; 1 John 2:27) via the conscience via the daily process of sanctification where the Holy Spirit methodically guides the redeemed in Jesus in the Father’s will as the Spirit prepares them for service in the New Jerusalem; furthermore, the redeemed in Jesus walk in peace with the Father (Romans 5:1) as they’re forgiven (Hebrews 8:12), loved as family, as the Holy Spirit with patience and long-suffering teaches and tutors and cares for the Father’s children with intimacy (John 14:16).

In the New Covenant, it is the New Nature provided by the Spirit in combination with the tutorship/leadership of the Holy Spirit administering the Moral Law of Conscience written upon the heart that is an infinitely superior form of behavioral modification when compared with the Old Covenant’s Torah Law scratched upon parchment, etched in cold, unyielding stone, being pursued by a sin-nature under condemnation striving in hopelessness, futility, nihilism; ultimately, death of body, mind, spirit, in Hell.
