What must I believe about Jesus to receive eternal life?

Jesus Christ is Elohim, I AM; why is this truism eternally relevant concerning your life in Time and in Eternity?

IS it essential that one searching the Scriptures seeking eternal life by faith believe that Jesus Christ is Elohim, our Creator, in order to honor the Father’s will concerning faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, for the remission of sin? NO!

Our Heavenly Father is compassionately willing to accept you just as your are, filthy, spiritually ignorant, but possessing a virtuous heart willing to believe and trust in Jesus Christ as Messiah, Lord, Savior, Redeemer, believing that Jesus suffered and died to pay your sin-debt owed the Father, a debt that you could never pay yourself.

The Father is willing to accept this faith contractually and enter into covenant relationship with you and assign you His Holy Spirit to take-up residence within you (Ephesians 1:13-14; John 14:16) and initiate a good-work in your life by cleaning away the filth and stains of the defiled World making you a New Man or a New Woman (2 Corinthians 5:17) who aligns with the Father’s will as the Holy Spirit becomes your Teacher, Tutor, Guide, Intercessor, in the daily process of transformation referred to theologically as “sanctification” (Galatians 5:16).

It is during the life-long process of sanctification that the Holy Spirit tutors you and prepares you for service in the New Jerusalem as a servant of Elohim, forever (1 John 2:27). One of the most relevant lessons taught by the Spirit to the faithful in Jesus Christ is the necessity for Messiah’s deity and the Spirit opens one’s eyes to the irrefutable truth that Jesus Christ is Elohim, I AM, God, in flesh and could be no less (Genesis 1; John 1; Hebrews 1; Colossians 1).

Anyone who is truly redeemed by faith in Jesus as their Lord and is walking in covenant relationship with the Father and the Holy Spirit is their Tutor, Teacher, they will know without a shadow of doubt that Jesus is Elohim our Creator (Genesis 1), our Warrior (Genesis 3:15; 1 John 3:8b) and our Messiah (John 3). The faithful in Jesus will know their God, Immanuel, and worship Him as same.

A compassionate warning,

If you name the Name of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but you do not see the necessity for His deity; if you name the Name of Jesus Christ as your Savior but do not believe that Jesus is I AM, God, Elohim, you are NOT redeemed from sin, you do NOT possess the Holy Spirit who is Guarantor of covenant relationship (Ephesians 1:13-14); therefore, if you’re absent the Holy Spirit, you remain in your sin (John 8:24) and you are therefore on your own and on the road to Perdition where you will ultimately lose both body and soul in Hell subsequent the Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15).

Conclusion to the matter,

Jesus said that you would know them by their fruit; that is, their works, they way the act but the tell-tale fruit of the Christian that differentiates them from every religion, sect, cult, in the entire World is this, the true Christian knows intuitively through the Spirit that Jesus Christ is I AM, eternally.

Is Jesus created or Creator?

Skeptic asked: “If Jesus is not a Created Being, how can He be called the Son of God? (John 5:26) says the Father granted the Son to have Life.”

Christian response,

Jesus was ordained to have “life” in flesh before the foundation of the World as the Gospel, the New Covenant, has been the Father’s battle strategy by which He would destroy the works of the Devil through the Son’s selfless love at Golgotha (2 Timothy 1:8-10; 1 John 3:8b).

Jesus took on “life” as we know it in flesh in order to offer Himself as the Spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World (Philippians 2; John 1:29) via fulfillment of the blood atoning mandates first pictured in Genesis 3:21 and articulated under Law in Leviticus 17:11.

Jesus is God, Jesus is Spirit, having manifest in flesh so that YOU might have a path to life in the Kingdom through reconciliation with the Father by grace through faith in Jesus as your Messiah via the forgiveness of sin (John 3). The Father ordained the “life” of Jesus the “person” and the Holy Spirit initiated that life through the womb of a virgin woman (Genesis 3:15) for the purposes of circumventing the sin-nature passed through the genome of Adam (Romans 5:12). No ordinary “man” born of Adam could accomplish this task, only Jesus, the God-MAN walked before us and the Father absent sin and gave Himself for you that you might find life in His Name (John 1; Hebrews 1; Colossians 1; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

“18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life you inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or spot. 20 He was known before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in the last times for your sake.…” 1 Peter 1

Do Christians Sin?

Do Christians sin?

Yes, Christians do sin; please allow me to explain.

When an individual sincerely repents of their sin and with a sincere heart believes that Jesus Christ is Lord and that Jesus died for them on the Cross at Golgotha to pay their sin-debt, a debt owed the Father that they could never pay themselves, that individual is instantaneously made “positionally right” with the Father; what does this mean?

When one enters into covenant relationship with the Father by faith in the Son, Jesus Christ, they receive the IMPUTATION of Jesus’ perfection-righteousness (the gift of Jesus’ sinless perfection) into and over their life, forever (John 3; 2 Corinthians 5:21). In addition, the one redeemed (purchased at a price) by faith in Jesus also receives the Gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit who is the Guarantor of covenant relationship with the Father, forever (Ephesians 1:13-14); in addition, the redeemed in Jesus also receive a ”new-nature” that wars against the old sin-nature received from our father, Adam (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 5:12) and a struggle between the two-natures ensues (Ephesians 4:22-32).

At this juncture, it is very important to understand a most relevant truism; sinful human kind can find righteousness (a right standing) with the Father ONLY by trusting in the Son, Jesus Christ, and receiving the righteousness, sinless purity, of the Son imputed into our life by faith and it is only by the imputation of Messiah’s perfection that the Father agrees, by covenant promise (Hebrews 8:12), to NOT see our sin by “choice” and the Father then declares the redeemed in Jesus “not guilty” of past-present-future sins.

The Father’s volitional decision-choice to forgive our sins is NOT based upon our worthiness before or subsequent covenant relationship but the Father’s “choice” to forgive our sin is based solely upon what His Son did for us on the Cross by fulfilling the mandates of Leviticus 17:11 relevant to blood atonement for sin (John 3:16).

Therefore, do not walk in the prevailing deception believing that once redeemed by faith in Jesus, having been declared “positionally right” with the Father by faith; having received the indwelling Holy Spirit; having received a new-nature that naturally loves God and wants to please Him as an obedient child, that you are sinless in reality as you remain encumbered by a body of decaying flesh that is stained and dying in sin (Romans 3:23; Romans 7:14-25).

Consider this,

Jesus, in the New Covenant, enhanced personal culpability concerning the law by the inclusion of mens rea or the “guilty mind” or the “thought life;” in other words, no longer would a man or woman be required to actually physiologically commit an offense toward the Father to be culpable for sin but Jesus taught that the mere “thoughts” of mankind are subject to judgment (Matthew 5:21-27); therefore, the Christian who remains in this World encumbered by a body of decaying flesh and sin does NOT walk in perfect righteousness with consistency but the Christian does sin in word, thought, deed, from time to time; therefore, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, who sustain us, make intercession for us, while the Father “chooses” to not see our sin as the Father only sees the perfection, the righteousness, of His dear Son in us; this is grace and mercy beyond human comprehension.

The Apostle John via the Holy Spirit tells the Christian that if we sin He, the Father, is faithful and just to forgive us of our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)…why?

First of all, the Father would ask, “What sin?” as He has affirmatively made the divine “choice” to not see our sin, but 1 John 1:9 is not relevant to our covenant relationship with the Father, 1 John 1:9 is relevant for the Christian who sins and the benefits of the promise are for “conscience sake” not righteousness sake; that is, there is no greater GIFT than the peace and assurance provided by the indwelling Holy Spirit to the one redeemed by faith in Jesus (Romans 5:1) and when our sin-nature results in a temporary compromise with the World, the Spirit convicts the conscience and draws us back into obedience through a momentary loss of peace and intimacy with the Father; therefore, we apologize to our Father as a loving child NOT to reestablish covenant relationship as that is secure, forever, through the Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) but we apologize to reestablish INTIMACY and well-being with our Heavenly Father as life void that intimacy is simply not worth enduring.

Grace, a license to sin?

Some may ask, is the Father’s grace and mercy relevant to sin in the life of a Christian a license for the Christian to sin and compromise with the World void conscience? Absolutely NOT! It is the Holy Spirit walking the redeemed in Jesus in the process of sanctification that methodically guides them, teaches them, in the Father’s will and this is accomplished through the conscience (1 John 2:27; Galatians 5:16); therefore, anyone who names the Name of Jesus Christ as their Lord and walks in compromise with the World and in its defilement void conscience this person is spiritually deceived and the Spirit does not indwell them; therefore, they remain in their sin.

Jesus clearly said that you can recognize the Father’s children from the World by what they do, by their affections and their loyalties i.e., their “fruit” (Matthew 7:15-20). Though sin always crouches at the door of the Christian’s life in Time, they are victorious because of the Father’s grace, the Son’s faithfulness, the Spirit’s sanctification because greater is He that is in the Christian than He that controls the World’s affections (1 John 4:4).

8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us…10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous…

Did Jesus teach conformity to law or grace-mercy through faith via the Holy Spirit?

Did Jesus teach conformity to Law or grace and mercy through faith? Should we teach others to conform to Law or the Spirit?

Jesus entered Time under Law (Galatians 4:4) and came to proselytize those under Law in the freedom of grace and mercy through faith (John 3). If the Law was the path to righteousness and holiness, Jesus would not have needed to suffer and die for our sin (Galatians 2:21).

The Law Covenant is NOTHING but a definer of sin and culpability (Romans 3:20) and a Tutor to point the children of Israel to their need for a Messiah and once Messiah came and fulfilled the righteous mandates of the Law for us, we are no longer under Law but under grace through faith in Jesus via the Holy Spirit (Galatians 3:24; Romans 6:14).

People intuitively know the law as it is written upon their heart by our Creator at conception (Romans 2:14-15; Genesis 1:26-28); therefore, what people actually need in their life is redemption by faith in Jesus and the indwelling Holy Spirit guiding them in God’s will, the moral law, through the conscience via sanctification; therefore, our efforts as servants of God the Father must be to point others NOT to conformity to Law in legalism but faith in Jesus and allow the anointing of the Holy Spirit to create in them the New Man and the New Woman seeking obedience to the Father’s will out of love for God through sanctification and NOT in fear of law and punishment.

Deterrence via fear through legalistic law keeping is easily rationalized away by the sin-nature as evidenced by Israel’s repeated failures to please the Father through law keeping; Israel’s repeated rejection of the Father’s grace through faith are examples of legalistic futility; therefore, Jesus provides the only Way (John 14:6) to the Father’s heart (John 6:29); that is, trusting in Jesus as Lord (John 3); receive the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14); receive the “new nature” integral with the “new birth” (John 3; 2 Corinthians 5:17) and walk in intimacy with the Father via obedience to the Spirit via the conscience via sanctification as the Spirit prepares you for service in the New Jerusalem (Galatians 5:16). This is God’s will for your life as you become His family, His child, His beloved, forever, through faith in the Son as your Messiah via covenant promise (Hebrews 8:12).

Vain attempts at conformity to letters kills the soul but obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit provided the redeemed in Jesus is life and peace, forever (2 Corinthians 3:6).

Law of the Spirit? Torah Law or Moral Law of Conscience?

The Law of the Spirit? (Romans 8:2) Torah Law or Moral Law of Conscience?

Elohim gave the moral law first to the angels as an arbiter of free will and this law judged Satan of covetousness and the one-third of the angelic creation that followed Satan in the rebellion ultimately leading to the creation of matter, Time, our Universe, our genome as a temporary repository for this destructive war.

Elohim then infused the moral law of conscience into the human genome on the 6th-Day as He created human kind in His spiritual image (Genesis 1:26-28) and imparted certain communicable attributes of Elohim into humanity, one being the moral law which was to act as an arbiter of free will and a bulwark against societal implosion via unrestrained narcissism (Romans 2:14-15); second; the moral law will be used to ensure due process at the Judgment of the Condemned manifesting subsequent Messiah’s Millennial Reign (Revelation 20:11-15) as all of humanity will be “without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

This moral law of conscience, given humanity thousands of years before Sinai, judged the Adamic and Noahic generations of defilement and Elohim judged all but eight to death in water. This same moral law was foundational to the creation of man’s law such as the Code of Hammurabi.

When Elohim set apart a people group for His eschatological purposes via Abraham-Isaac-Jacob (Israel), He etched into stone and led Moses to scratch upon parchment certain specific laws that are nothing more than a reiteration of the moral law of conscience with some specificity concerning Jacob’s children and their conduct among pagan tribes serving pagan gods that relentlessly sought Israel’s compromise.

The Law Covenant and the Torah Law was and IS relevant ONLY to a very minuscule fragment of societal totality and that Torah Law is nothing more than a reiteration of the moral law of conscience with specificity. The Law Covenant and Torah Law are NOT the Law of the Spirit but the moral law of conscience, extant from the creation of the angels, is the law written upon our heart and arbitrated by the Holy Spirit via the conscience via sanctification which is a far superior form of behavioral modification seeing that the anointing of the Spirit works with the New Creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) to form the new-man who is indwelt by God as opposed to the Torah Law etched in cold, unyielding stone and scratched upon parchment condemning the old sin-nature void the Spirit that inevitably led to failure and condemnation because of compromise; therefore, the letter kills but the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6).

Torah Law is NOT on the heart and mind of most Christians as they walk in sanctification but the Spirit walks them methodically in the moral law that is infinitely more expansive and relevant to every thought of the human mind and in the New Covenant, Messiah enhanced the law to include mens rea or the thought life (Matthew 5:27-28) and now even our thoughts are judged and are liable, culpable, before God; therefore, walking in the anointing of the Spirit (Galatians 5:16; 1 John 2:27) with the New Nature loving God is the only way to please the Father and prepare for life in the New Jerusalem.

Did Jesus teach conformity to Law or grace, mercy, through faith?

Did Jesus teach conformity to Law or grace and mercy through faith? Should we teach others to conform to Law or the Spirit?

Jesus entered Time under Law (Galatians 4:4) and came to proselytize those under Law in the freedom of grace and mercy through faith (John 3). If the Law was the path to righteousness and holiness, Jesus would not have needed to suffer and die for our sin (Galatians 2:21).

People intuitively know the law…it’s on their heart (Romans 2:14-15)…what people need is redemption by faith in Jesus and the indwelling Holy Spirit guiding them in God’s will through the conscience via sanctification; therefore, our efforts as servants of God the Father must be to point others NOT to conformity to Law but faith in Jesus and allow the anointing of the Holy Spirit to create in them the New man and the New woman seeking obedience out of love for God not in fear of law and punishment.

Perversion of Matthew 7:21-23 to justify self-righteousness through Law…

Man’s perversion of Matthew 7:21-23 to justify self-righteousness through Law…

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [s]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23 (NASB)

You err in your interpretation of Matthew 7:21-23. Jesus, in this discourse, is approached by those who cite their worthiness via their good works done in the Name of our Lord yet Jesus rejects them and tells them He never knew them…how can this be?

These people, in their self-righteousness, relied upon their works to please the Father and earn their own way into the Kingdom and Jesus plainly tells them that they NEVER entered into covenant relationship with Him or the Father by faith as they never acquiesced to the Father’s will; that is, “to believe in the One He has sent into the World” to provide blood atonement for sin (John 6:29); therefore, Jesus said I don’t know you…depart from me you who work iniquity.

Those works that are done apart from covenant relationship by faith in Jesus are equated by the Father as filthy rags (a bloody menstrual cloth in the Hebrew)…they mean NOTHING (Isaiah 64:6) until such time an individual trusts in Jesus and establishes covenant relationship and receives the indwelling Holy Spirit and ONLY those works done by and through the Spirit please the Father and validate one’s faith as legitimate. It is by faith, alone, in Jesus, alone, that the Father is pleased (1 John 2:23).

If faith in Jesus is essential for eternal life, what will happen to those born before Messiah’s 1st-Advent?

Anyone born from Adam forward up to Messiah’s 1st-Advent found righteousness (a right standing) with the Father by “faith” (see Hebrews 11). A problem existed for the Old Testament saints as their sin had not received the acceptable blood atonement as first pictured in Genesis 3:21; therefore, they awaited Messiah’s atoning sacrifice in Sheol as nothing impure is permitted to enter the Kingdom (Revelation 21:27).

The Holy Spirit tells us that while the body of Jesus laid in the tomb, Jesus entered Sheol (Hades in the Greek) and preached liberty to the captives there and escorted them into the Kingdom (Ephesians 4:7-10) and from Messiah’s blood atonement forward, those who trust in Jesus no longer enter Sheol or Hades but are translated instantaneously into the presence of our Lord awaiting the resurrection of the righteous and service in the New Jerusalem (2 Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 3:21).

Did Jesus nullify the Law?

Confusion abounds: Did Jesus nullify the Law?

No; the point is this, Jesus is the END OF THE LAW CONCERNING “RIGHTEOUSNESS” (Romans 10:4); that is, because of what Jesus did for you and me at the Cross through His sinless perfection, we no longer strive through human effort to be worthy to the Father in a vain attempt to earn our own salvation via law keeping (Galatians 2:16) i.e. self-righteousness but Jesus kept the Law in sinless perfection and gave Himself as an atoning sacrifice for our sin and by covenant promise, the Father agrees to impute the perfection – righteousness of Jesus over your life by faith in Jesus as your Lord and you are therefore declared “not guilty” when you trust-believe that Jesus is Lord and that Jesus died to pay your sin-debt owed the Father (Hebrews 8:12; 2 Corinthians 5:21). The Father accepts the perfection – the sinless sacrifice of Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God, as payment for your sin-debt and NOTHING else will supplement or supplant Jesus as our substitutionary death for our sin (John 14:6)…NO LAW…NO WORK…NO RELIGION!

Once you are redeemed-saved-justified-family by faith in Jesus and covenant relationship is guaranteed by the Gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14) you are then led by the Spirit in the daily process of sanctification where the Spirit begins a good work in you and through you via the conscience; you are methodically led in obedience to the Father’s will for your life via the moral law of conscience written upon your heart and arbitrated by the Spirit; you no longer strive in vain after the written law – self-righteousness but the intent of the law is methodically fulfilled by the Spirit’s work through you as you have been forgiven by grace (unmerited favor from the Father) through faith-trusting in Jesus as your Lord and you naturally seek obedience because you love God and you’re now HIS child, His family, forever (John 3; Galatians 5:16).

Atheist insults Young Earth Creationists as anti-science…

The Holy Spirit tells us in the The Genesis Narrative that our Creator created with rapidity for cause and He uses the Hebrew “Yom” to designate “day”…a study of the Hebrew use of “yom” indicates that whenever yom is used in conjunction with a specific time frame such as “first day” and “an evening and a morning” it always designates a literal 24-hour day.

Also, the Holy Spirit explains to us from the Genesis forward that our creation in Time is in response to an unfathomable coup d’état having manifest in the Kingdom and our Universe, the Earth, was created in response to that rebellion as a repository for same in order to remove the destruction of the rebellion from the Kingdom where nothing impure is permitted to exist (Revelation 21:27); therefore, the creation of Time and matter and physics finds its origin in the unseen Spiritual World and our creation was created with rapidity for cause.

In addition, the Holy Spirit provides us a time-line of the Earth’s age as Jesus tells us that “in the Beginning Elohim created them male and female” (Mark 10:6) so we know that the human genome was created “in the Beginning” (Genesis 1:26-28); furthermore, the Holy Spirit uses the genealogy of Messiah through Mary (Gospel of Luke, Chapter 3) extending back to Adam to date the Earth at approximately 6000-years.

I understand that those who adhere to Darwin’s “theory” and the offshoot of that theory such as “abiogenesis” and “descent with modification” lean toward an old Earth ideology as millions or billions of years are mandated for the radical “speciation” of a simple cell into the complexity of life we see around us…I guess it all depends upon whom you believe, the Holy Spirit or Darwin’s followers.

Furthermore, the matter that forms the constituent elements of our world, our cells, was taken from elements found only in the unseen Spiritual Realm and fashioned into matter that can be apprehended by life constrained by Time (Hebrews 11:3); therefore, mankind, scientists, astrophysicists, will never define our origin, the date of the Earth through radiocarbon dating, potassium–argon dating and uranium–lead dating. Also, our Creator created a “mature” Earth and a “mature” Sun and light just like He created a mature Adam and Eve…these things are beyond human understanding and man’s calculations concerning “The Genesis.” I therefore believe what the Holy Spirit has provided me in His words.
